John McCain is Forgetting Sarah…And the Economy. First the economy. Can we step back a moment and look at this current economic fiasco? Some things trouble me about this. Are we supposed to “trust” congress that this huge economic failure just showed up late one Thursday afternoon and had to be solved by Monday morning or else? C’mon. There is no way for a huge business to fail in a day and for everyone to be shocked. Even those seeking media attention now are saying, oh they knew about this for years, or they tried to do something about this years ago, etc., etc. So why was everyone so quiet about it if it truly was this huge deal? Perhaps they didn’t want the country to panic…so, they just did…nothing?!!
Now the white house and congress are trying to tell us the Economic Sky is Falling. Nancy Chicken Little Pelosi thinks Americans are so stupid that she can get away with blaming the republicans for the bailout bill failing, when at the same time she told more than one dozen democrats (all facing tough elections) to vote NO on the bill! The days of smoke-filled backroom deals like this going unreported are over, Nancy. Maybe you missed the memo. She is such a fraud! She knew this bill would not pass and brought it up for a vote anyway. Why? Because she knew the market would crash and she and her socialist pals could blame the nasty republicans and reporters would be quick to put their little sound bites all over the media. It is bold to suggest the Speaker of the House actually wanted the markets to dive. But what other explanation is possible? She wanted to be able to blame the other party so she can help Barack the Obaminable Snowed-Man get into the white house and pay her back. To sacrifice more than $1-Trillion in stock market earnings just to gain power, shows each of us how awful things are in Washington D.C. No wonder no one trusts congress! The timing of this Surprise Economic Meltdown (not actually a surprise to those in the know) is quite interesting given the pending election. This whole situation does not pass the smell test. 
One democrat was out there blaming the republicans and Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson today. Paulson is not a conservative American.
So what now? We’re supposed to let the government spend billions, they tell us, to buy “bad” loans from banks. This will give the banks money to lend to other people, relieving the credit crunch, and saving us all from the big surprise that the sky is falling. They tell us, “Trust us, we know best.” Even though they created this mess. They say, “Americans will get this money back. These are not defaulted loans, these are loans on which payments are being made.” Okay, so they’re not really bad loans? They were just given to people who should not have been given the loan? But those people are still making the payments, right? Hmmm. Hello, Washington? We don’t trust you guys! Oh, but Senator Johny “Maver-D-ick” McCain is different. He’ll put on his super-hero cape, forgetting Sarah Palin off to the side, and fly back to Washington to save us all! Oh yippee. He’s above all this see, he’ll stop his campaign and skip the debates…. oh wait,….just kidding about that. What a fraud and an idiot (see our earlier posting on that).
Something will be passed. They key for us will be to see how much conservatism we can force into the final bill. Can we get a decrease or elimination of capital gains taxes? Can we get a phased-in elimination of Fannie Mae, Tammy Faye and Freddie Mac? Let’s phase them out entirely. Can we get rid of the Clinton-Reno doctrine requiring lending institutions to give out loans to people who do not qualify? Are we going to let those who default on loans keep their homes while punishing those who did things right by having them pay for the homes of those others?
The President and the Congress have created a media frenzy and a market panic with their Chicken Little Sky is Falling song. A bill will be passed to ATTEMPT to prevent this from becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. Key word; attempt.
No one is telling us they know for certain that any of this will work! Will this help? Will it fix anything? Will it somehow be better than doing nothing at all? I’m not convinced. Everyone says they want change (thus the Obaminator’s slogan) and they don’t like congress. The problem is they all like their own congressman and no one is voted out. Maybe all these media-craving politicians should just go home (and stay home for good) and leave us alone. How about we replace them all? This is the time we need a true conservative American in the white house.
Forgetting Sarah
Unfortunately all we have is Barack Obama and Johnny McCain’t. Have you noticed how they (McCain & Company) are watering down Sarah Palin? You can see it in her face. She is faking it at times to go along with McCain. They are “training” her to mirror McCain and abandon all this conservative crap. McCain truly is an idiot for doing this. She gave him his only bump in the polls. She gave him his only bump in the campaign bank account. She should be the presidential candidate, not the VP choice. So rather than use her popularity to ride into the white house, he is out there apologizing for her “mis-steps” when she speaks from her heart. Don’t sell your soul, Sarah. We need you. P.S. – Yes, we should take our military into Pakistan if we need to. You are right. Stand by it. I hate to see this McCain Man of La Middle destroy what we love about you! Please, just be YOU on Thursday night, Sarah Palin.

Cooler heads prevailed and no bailout was approved today! The stock market took its largest one day point-dive ever, down 777 points, once it learned no free check from Uncle Sam (that’s you and me) would be coming. While we never like to see the market go down, we do have to applaud this as a victory for capitalism and a defeat for the socialist takeover of our economy. That is much more important than a huge drop in the Dow Jones Industrial Average. So, wouldn’t you think someone (like maybe a conservative republican?) would want to take credit for killing this nonsense?
Nope. House Republican Minority Whip Eric Cantor blames it on Nancy Pelosi and her lack of leadership. Pelosi took to the floor before the vote and said this $700-billion bailout was needed because of the “failed economic policies of the Bush Administration.” She had to stick in one more jab at the white house and the Republicans just before the vote. Meanwhile, the democrat socialists’ blame blitz is aimed at the republicans. The dems say they did their part. Not sure how they can say that when 40% of them voted against it. If Pelosi could lead, she could get her own party to approve this all by itself without a single republican vote.

Pelosi says she “extends a finger (okay, she said ‘hand’) of cooperation” to get a new deal done. Gag.
The first one of our two presidential candidates to stand up and say “I am glad this measure was killed and unlike my oponent, I will work to defeat any future bills,” will win the white house. Phone calls to congress are 10 to 1 against this nonsense. So why won’t anyone take credit instead of blaming the other? Obama or McCain could use this as a ticket to the white house. Neither one will though.

You know how the liberal socialists can’t stand Governor Sarah Palin? They hate her because she’s pretty. They hate her because she’s smart. They hate her for what she has. Well, let’s start a movement to watch the Palin-Biden debate this week with the sound off! We don’t need to hear Biden (though he promises to add more humor to the race) and all we need to do with Palin is see her famous lips move. We just have to look at her and she wins. Isn’t that what the democrats are saying anyway? That we only like her because she is pretty? Okay. Let’s go with that. I say we watch her legs (okay and the rest of her) and turn the sound down!
The Nays had it this afternoon after the US House voted on the $700-billion socialist takeover of the banking and mortgage industries. The Down at one point fell 675 points today after learning this crazy bill was not going to pass. Thank God there are some capitalists left in the US House. More than 90 democrats joined more than 130 republicans to defeat the measure.
We must allow individual private business to fail if we are to allow capitalism to succeed. Stepping in and preventing the failure of private industry by replacing it with the United Socialist States of America (USSA) is not the way to go here. Let’s hope twists on this measure continue to be defeated in vote after vote.
Obama and McCain may eventually vote on a bailout bill. If Obama votes in favor of bailing out Wall Street (as he likes to put it) and McCain should muster up his Maver-D-ick and vote against, McCain will win. If they both vote for it, we have the same two nonsensical candidates we have now.

Why no bailout yet? Harry Reider and the Half-Black Prince control both the US House and the US Senate. The democrat-socialists could approve a bill tonight if they wanted without a single republican vote. Still, they can’t seem to come up with a deal. Some leadership, eh? No wonder the Congressional approval rate is at 13%. That also explains why no one is happy with either candidate this time around. They both come from this lousy bunch already running things.

So who won the debate? Did either candidate stay awake for the whole thing? Many times, both candidates agreed with each other. Johny McCain’t got to talk about how Obama doesn’t understand things and Obama did come off a bit snobby for always trying to interupt McCain. Overall, McCain won the debate and, as a conservative american, I like the idea of a league of democracies. We could let the UN move down to Hugo Chavez-land and let him fund it. Mostly, the debate was boring. No minds were changed. No votes won. It was a non-event. What did you think?

Just in case you weren’t already sure, today is proof. John McCain is, in fact, an idiot. He had pulled a fast one on the Obama camp by suspending his campaign (too bad it wasn’t for good) and calling off the debate to focus on the one real issue Americans care about. The economy stupid. Obama looked foolish for still planning to debate and still campaigning. Score one for McCain, right? WRONGO! Johny McCain’t decided Obama was right! He “un-suspended” his campaign and IS going to debate after all! What a total and complete idiot.
He had the chance to put “Country First,” work on the bailout, and (supposedly) not worry about the campaign. He had the chance to make Obama look ridiculous for debating himself (which he sometimes does with Biden anyway!) and …. he fizzled. Again.
I am not at all sure I can vote for him. I cannot vote for Obama under any circumstance. No flash of brilliance has come from former conservative congressman Bob Barr, now the libertarian party candidate. So what do I do now? Stay Home?
McCain can set himself apart from other candidates as being the “Maver-D-ick.” He can also claim to be the first candidate that is upsetting both sides of the asile. Mr. McCain, sir, you do realize don’t you, that there are not enough “populists” in the middle to get you the white house? Right? Hello?
Congress says it is close to reaching a deal on the $700-Billion plan to nationalize the banking and mortgage industry. Let’s hope not! Keep those calls and emails going to Congress, this is nonsense. Such a huge dive into socialism, abandoning our capitalist and conservative principles is NOT the way to go. There are other answers. Key economists are coming out with their own ideas now. We need to urge lawmakers to hold off for a while until they get more options on the table. Some economists are suggesting eliminating capital gains taxes as a way of infusing new money into the market. We’re all for eliminating taxes! Newt Gingrich (who has said some very strange and non-conservative things in the last year or so) says if we’re going to deal in that kind of money, at least make it a loan, not a give-away on the backs of the taxpayer. More people are putting more ideas on the table that do not require letting the democrat-socialists like Barney Frank and Barack Obama run the entire economy.
Contrary to popular belief, the sky will not fall on Monday if no deal is reached by then. The Dow was up about 200 today on the hopes that a huge goverment Christmas gift will be coming. While I’m not in the business of offering any financial advice, I would not buy yet. The market may not be happy if we are successful in getting this Bailout bill killed.
Meanwhile, Johny McCain’t says he’s not campaigning now. Yeah right. What he means is that he does not have enough money to keep up with Obama’s ads and perhaps a few day vacation would buy him more time, literally. Let’s get this rumor going (instead of the one saying Biden will step down to be replaced by Hillary RamRod Clinton)…How about John McCain steps down and Sarah Palin replaces him. I would rather have her running this country than the other bozos out there.

Speaking of Bozo’s did you hear what Florida democrat-socialist congressman Alcee Hastings said? Here it is…“anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks.” Hastings shows us once again that there is blatant racism and rampant fear in the democrat party. Supermom Sarah Palin has given all of these socialists annurisms. This guy is off his freaking rocker. The dems are absolutely going nuts over this woman. How fun! Wish we found her months earlier and made her the candidate.

Will Hillary replace Biden as VP?
Don’t count on the rumor that Hillary will replace Biden as VP on the democratic ticket. This is not one that will come true. You have to look at from Hillary RamRod Clinton’s position. She wants to be President. She wants to be the first female President. If she takes VP, that won’t help her. She will have to be VP to Obama (who she doesn’t care for at all) for probably 8 years. At that point, she could run again for the top job. She still might not get the nomination and she will be tied to any mistakes the Obama administration makes. If she sits this out, and lets Obama-Biden lose the election, then she gets to run in only 4 years without the baggage of an Obama regime. What if Obama and Biden win though? She could still run in 8 years as in the first scenario, but without the baggage of Obama connected to her. If he does a great job, she can say she’ll continue his great work. He might even endorse her. If he is lousy, she can point to the fact she would have done things differently. This woman has not one thing to gain by being Obama’s VP. He won’t ask her (Michelle Obama won’t let him) and even if he did, she won’t say yes. Put this rumor to bed folks.
