Even feminists who “abhor her politics” like Caroline Heldman are admitting Sarah Palin took an unfair beating by the Press.  Heldman has a post on the Daily Beast showing that while 48% of women answering their poll thought Hillary Clinton was treated farily, just 29% believe Palin got a fair deal.

Heldman says,  “As a political scientist who researches sexism in the media, I have studied her pornification and ditzification.” While ConservativeAmerican.org  would agree with Heldman on very little, she makes some excellent points about sexism, noting that Palin “was openly scorned for playing ‘too female.’ Reporters made a paramount issue out of who would care for Palin’s children if she won. Former Presidential Candidate Mike Huckabee says Sarah Palin is the one to watch! The Chattanooga Times Free Press is running a story that features Huckabee, now a FOX News TV host, commenting on Palin.  Huckabee told the paper he doesn’t know if he’ll try again to get into the White house, but said he’s not sure he or anyone else could overcome Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s star power! From the paper:

“Sarah Palin is, first of all, an effective governor,” he said. “The reason people like her is because they feel she’s authentic and that they can relate to her.” Speaking at an event on Sunday promoting his new book, “Do the Right Thing,” Mr. Huckabee stressed the importance for the Republicans Party to remain true to its core social values.“They can’t abandon the social values like pro-life and pro-marriage. They do that and they’re dead.”

He's Back!

There’s news today of yet another deal between the Clinton’s and Barack Obama.  Bill Clinton is a large part of both deals.

First, we have wondered before what kind of deal President Elect Barack Obama must have made with the Clinton’s during the presidential campaign.  Obama needed HIllary to both drop out of the race and throw her support behind him.  Billy Bob Clinton was not pleased with Obama and the way the Obama campaign painted him to be a racist.  He was downright pissed off about it.  He also was quite peeved that he would not be back in the White House.  He had no intention of supporting Barack Obama, yet suddenly the Clinton’s were 100% behind the Obaminator.

During the campaign, Hillary loaned herself about $12-million dollars from Billy Bob’s $100-milion in speaking fees.  Money is a very powerful motivator.  Obama, no doubt, agreed to pay the Clinton campaign at least enough money so that they could pay themselves back.  Still there was that issue remaining that Bill wanted back at the power.  He wanted to be back in…

An organizer for Ralph Nader (a college professor…go figure) in Alaska wrote a piece defending Sarah Palin over the set up turkey video the media loved. Steve Conn is a retired professor at the University of Alaska, and is now based in Washington state.  He recently helped collect more than 5,900 signatures from Alaskan voters to put Ralph Nader on the 2008 Alaska Presidential ballot.  Here’s what he wrote…

“That turkey murdered behind Sarah Palin was a scandal which deserved all the media play it received, not to mention millions of hits on YouTube. Real Americans “put their turkeys to sleep” or ask their hosts how the poor bird died before they dig in. The same way good Alaskans ask, “Is that a farmed fish or wild?” (We really do). I am certain that any turkey consumed by the Obama family committed hara-kiri in homage to its culinary destiny and that the video will appear on YouTube in due course.”

We won’t hold our breath for that video either, Steve.

A guest on the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” this morning said republicans seem to have an election addiction. Political researcher and author Frank Luntz mentioned the “addiction” and added “Sarah Palin is the cure.” Luntz did not say if democrats also have an election addiction, but the mere talk of 2012 seemed to frustrate him. That’s a bit odd since this is how he makes his living. In any event, Luntz told Friends that with two senate seats still up in the air, it’s basically too early to be thinking 2012.

“She is tough and shrewd,” Luntz said. As for those ‘Our Country’ political action committee ads running about Sarah Palin, he said they didn’t help the Alaska Governor. He pointed out the emcee of the ad made what Luntz thought was a stupid joke about sitting down for a Thanksgiving meal of turkey “or Moose.” While it is good to be able to laugh at yourself and your own favorite political candidates, that probably was a stupid line.

There are reports out today that the democrat party’s MSNBC media division may be selecting one of its own to run for US Senate!  Chris Matthews reportedly wants to run in Pennsy to unseat US Senator Arlen Specter.

The big question is, what party will he run in?  I mean he is so fair in his reporting, it is hard to tell what party he belongs to.  Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.  (Obviously kidding)

The Politico interviewed the folks at Lycos search engine and are running a report saying that Sarah Palin gets more search inquiries than Barack Obama!! No wonder the liberals, democrats, populist republicans and socialists can’t stand her! This is too funny! They have an historical electon result and our favorite woman is more popular than their historic, first-ever, biracial President!

Fox News is reporting today that Liberals are angry with President Elect Barak Obama over his decision to keep President Bush’s Defense Secretary, Robert Gates.  Fox says…

” Liberal blogger Chris Bowers of The Open Left says the message sent by the selection of Gates undermines Democrats. “The message would be clear,” he writes in his blog. “Even Democrats agree that Democrats can’t run the military.”Obama’s outspoken opposition to the Iraq war before he became a U.S. senator was one of the reasons he was embraced early in the presidential race by the anti-war faction of the Democratic Party’s base, so his apparent decision to keep a Bush adviser as defense secretary for at least a year has raised some eyebrows within that faction.”

We reported on the 25th that this would happen.  We predicted groups like Code Pink would have to issue a Code Red after slipping one of those white pills under their tongues to make sure their hearts keep working.  Didn’t take long for this to start happening!
