Presumed 2012 Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin got slammed recently by former Governor Jeb Bush who joined progressive-liberal-Socialists in questioning her qualifications to serve as President. When potential candidate Mitt Romney was given the same chance, he didn’t take the bait…

Romney said he’s not even sure Sarah Palin will run for President. Is she qualified? “Sure, she is,” he replies on the video. Romney says Palin’s voice is loud and strong and hopefully can help convince more people of the wrong direction things are headed.

Palin calls on Obama to Drop Charges Against Navy SEALS

By Peter Andrew

Presumed 2012 Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin writes on her Facebook page this afternoon that it’s time for Americans to stand up for the Navy SEALS. From her Facebook…

“First the Obama Administration opened up the possibility of prosecuting CIA interrogators doing their jobs seeking information from terrorists. Then they tried to go after the Bush Administration lawyers who acted in good faith to protect us in the months after 9/11. Now some of the military brass are court-martialing three brave Navy SEALs for allegedly throwing a single punch at Iraqi terrorist leader Ahmed Hashim Abed. This is wrong. The Washington Times got it right: Save the SEALs.

These brave warriors belong in combat, not in the courthouse. They captured the most wanted terrorist in Iraq. We may never know how many other heroic missions they undertook on behalf of our country. The charges should be dropped, and they should be returned to their unit – with our gratitude for their service.

Stand up for the SEALs who are standing up for us!

- Sarah Palin”

This was the number one scandal of the year on our Obama’s Top 10 Scandals List from 2009. From that post, we learn the details (below):

Obama Puts Navy Seals on Trial for Capturing a Most-Wanted Terrorist! -We picked this one (as number one on the list) because it is symbolic of what Sarah Palin called the “Back Assward” methodology of this President. He wants to put CIA agents on trial while giving Terrorists Miranda rights, he wants to push socialist health care while ignoring a request for more troops. In the Obama Galaxy, everything is upside down and backwards. He and his administration are so against the grain of this nation, it is astounding he was elected. He could put an end to this scandal with one phone call. So, why doesn’t he?

In the upside world that Commander Obama is in charge of, the bad guy terrorists get criminal trials with all the rights of U.S. citizens and the good guy Navy SEALs who capture them get to…GO TO JAIL?!!! A terrorist murdering thug gets a bloody lip (don’t you feel bad for him?) and the radical extremist leadership of our very own nation is prosecuting the soldiers who captured him!! “Instead of being lauded for bringing to justice a high-value target, three of the SEAL commandos, all enlisted, face assault charges and have retained lawyers. Matthew McCabe, Jonathan Keefe, and Julio Huertas.” ConservativeAmerican.org, for one, thanks them for their service. These guys caught the man responsible for capturing, killing and burning the bodies of several Americans. He then hung the burned bodies from a bridge and got it on video for the whole world to see. A bloody lip seems mild.”

Palin is right. ConservativeAmerican.org is right. McCabe, Keefe and Huertas were right.

Did Jeb Bush Insult Sarah Palin?

Conservative American News & Views.

Some people are tossing Jeb Bush’s name around as a Presidential candidate in 2012. That’s likely not the brightest idea for the GOP. However, he is acting and sounding like a candidate. He’s even bashing possible opponents like Sarah Palin!

The Week reports the following…

“Jeb Bush had “extremely faint praise” for fellow Republic ex-governor Sarah Palin, telling the conservative website NewsMax that Palin has great “charisma” and would make an “incredible candidate” for higher office — if she developed “some depth of understanding” of our complex world. “I don’t know what her deal is,” he added. “My belief is in 2010 and 2012, public leaders need to have intellectual curiosity.” Will criticism from the Bush clan the end of Palin’s political hopes? Will it end Jeb’s?”

Jeb Bush says Palin needs to develop and understanding of our complex world? It’s almost as if he is saying, “You know, she’s just a woman, after all.”

At this early stage in the 2012 game, it does no good at all for republican candidates to start blasting each other. Why not focus on Obama instead? Jeb Bush apparently buys into the media-created Tina Fey version of the “not-so-smart” Sarah Palin.

Palin’s Good Sense of Humor

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

By Peter Andrew

Presumed 2012 Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin had conservatives laughing with some pretty amusing lines during the 2008 campaign. She’s a good sport too, having appeared on Saturday Night Live despite endless Tina Fey portrayals. However, she knows when humor goes too far (David Letterman, Family Guy) however, and that upsets at least one Hollywierd actress/

The Washington Post reports Andrea (Tina) Fay Friedman (herself, a person with Down’s Syndrome) thinks Palin should lighten up over the Family Guy stuff.

Meanwhile Seth MacFarlane (yeah, I never heard of him either) tells that pillar of moral values and superior intellect Bill Maher, that he “saved my Sarah Palin virginity for you…” Ha. That’s so funny. NOT.

Speaking of Tina Fey, she’s apparently reconsidered (money talks) her decision not to play Sarah Palin anymore. The Miami Herald reports she’s willing to help out the Obama 2012 campaign by renewing her portrayal of Governor Palin.

Not to worry, though. CNews says Sarah Palin is nothing more than a celebrity herself. You know, just like Tiger Woods. Nothing to be worried about if, say you’re a democrat who wants to be elected President in 2012.

There is some fairness out there, even though it is critical of Sarah Palin. Dorothy Rabinowitz writes at the Wall Street Journal about Palin’s odd endorsement of “radical libertarian” Rand Paul. Maybe that was a joke too?

It seems an odd endorsement to us as well. Rabinowitz notes that Rand Paul’s “views are clear: He stands opposed to the Patriot Act and he wants to cut defense spending.” — Not exactly the “Sarah-Palin-type” candidate. It would be tough for any Conservative to explain their support for Rand Paul or either of these foolish positions. Like ConservativeAmerican.org though, Rabinowitz is fair to Sarah Palin and, I think, honest in her report. For example, she agrees with us about Charles Hubris Gibson’s childish and unfounded attack on Sarah Palin. At the time Gibson insisted Palin was not qualified to be VP, he ignored the fact she had more qualifications than Bill Clinton did when he ran or Howard Dean did when he ran. Gibson was not critical of either of them. Rabinowitz writes, “And after a daunting encounter with ABC’s Charles Gibson—a civilized presence and one of the most genial of men ever to occupy a news anchor’s chair—now turned into an oaf unable to conceal disdain as he questioned his guest on her capacities for office…” Oaf is putting it nicely.

As for Rand Paul, joke or not, ConservativeAmerican.org cannot support this endorsement. We have endorsed, and continue to support the candidacy of Conservative American Bill Johnson for the Kentucky Senate Seat. He’s the true Reagan conservative in the race, the real outsider, and the choice of Tea Partiers. Learn more about him here…

Bristol Sticking up for Trig

Bristol Sticking up for Trig

Presumed 2012 Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin posted this message on her Facebook this afternoon responding to a “Fox Family Guy” show (Palin refers to it as “Fox Hollywood”)….

People are asking me to comment on yesterday’s Fox show that felt like another kick in the gut. Bristol was one who asked what I thought of the show that mocked her baby brother, Trig (and/or others with special needs), in an episode yesterday. Instead of answering, I asked her what she thought. Here is her conscientious reply, which is a much more restrained and gracious statement than I want to make about an issue that begs the question, “when is enough, enough?”: (below)

“When you’re the son or daughter of a public figure, you have to develop thick skin. My siblings and I all have that, but insults directed at our youngest brother hurt too much for us to remain silent. People with special needs face challenges that many of us will never confront, and yet they are some of the kindest and most loving people you’ll ever meet. Their lives are difficult enough as it is, so why would anyone want to make their lives more difficult by mocking them? As a culture, shouldn’t we be more compassionate to innocent people – especially those who are less fortunate? Shouldn’t we be willing to say that some things just are not funny? Are there any limits to what some people will do or say in regards to my little brother or others in the special needs community? If the writers of a particularly pathetic cartoon show thought they were being clever in mocking my brother and my family yesterday, they failed. All they proved is that they’re heartless jerks. – Bristol Palin

Was Cheney Cool to Palin?

Monday, February 15th, 2010

ConservativeAmerican.org
Leading the way Right

By Peter Andrew

Presumed 2012 Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin got a cool “reception” from Vice President Dick Cheney on ABCDEmocrat News, at least that is what the Christian Science Monitor is reporting.

CSM Quotes Cheney…

I think all of the prospective candidates out there have a lot of work to do if in fact they are going to persuade a majority of Americans that they are ready to take on the world’s toughest job.

Perhaps he was giving her a warning shot, but it seemed to me to be more of a case of Cheney not wanting to be in anyone’s camp this early in the game. What do YOU think?
