Leading the way Right
By Peter Andrew
Presumed 2012 Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin had conservatives laughing with some pretty amusing lines during the 2008 campaign. She’s a good sport too, having appeared on Saturday Night Live despite endless Tina Fey portrayals. However, she knows when humor goes too far (David Letterman, Family Guy) however, and that upsets at least one Hollywierd actress/
The Washington Post reports Andrea (Tina) Fay Friedman (herself, a person with Down’s Syndrome) thinks Palin should lighten up over the Family Guy stuff.
Meanwhile Seth MacFarlane (yeah, I never heard of him either) tells that pillar of moral values and superior intellect Bill Maher, that he “saved my Sarah Palin virginity for you…” Ha. That’s so funny. NOT.
Speaking of Tina Fey, she’s apparently reconsidered (money talks) her decision not to play Sarah Palin anymore. The Miami Herald reports she’s willing to help out the Obama 2012 campaign by renewing her portrayal of Governor Palin.

Not to worry, though. CNews says Sarah Palin is nothing more than a celebrity herself. You know, just like Tiger Woods. Nothing to be worried about if, say you’re a democrat who wants to be elected President in 2012.
There is some fairness out there, even though it is critical of Sarah Palin. Dorothy Rabinowitz writes at the Wall Street Journal about Palin’s odd endorsement of “radical libertarian” Rand Paul. Maybe that was a joke too?
It seems an odd endorsement to us as well. Rabinowitz notes that Rand Paul’s “views are clear: He stands opposed to the Patriot Act and he wants to cut defense spending.” — Not exactly the “Sarah-Palin-type” candidate. It would be tough for any Conservative to explain their support for Rand Paul or either of these foolish positions. Like ConservativeAmerican.org though, Rabinowitz is fair to Sarah Palin and, I think, honest in her report. For example, she agrees with us about Charles Hubris Gibson’s childish and unfounded attack on Sarah Palin. At the time Gibson insisted Palin was not qualified to be VP, he ignored the fact she had more qualifications than Bill Clinton did when he ran or Howard Dean did when he ran. Gibson was not critical of either of them. Rabinowitz writes, “And after a daunting encounter with ABC’s Charles Gibson—a civilized presence and one of the most genial of men ever to occupy a news anchor’s chair—now turned into an oaf unable to conceal disdain as he questioned his guest on her capacities for office…” Oaf is putting it nicely.
As for Rand Paul, joke or not, ConservativeAmerican.org cannot support this endorsement. We have endorsed, and continue to support the candidacy of Conservative American Bill Johnson for the Kentucky Senate Seat. He’s the true Reagan conservative in the race, the real outsider, and the choice of Tea Partiers. Learn more about him here…

I encourage you to do what you can to support Johnson in this important Senate race.
