New campaign video out tonight from Conservative American Bill Johnson, candidate for U.S. Senate in Kentucky. Here it is…

The video is nice. Not so sure about the song. It’s okay, I guess. The message that needs to get through is that Bill Johnson is the Tea Party Conservative in this race. Bill is the Reagan conservative. Not Rand Paul. Johnson is the best chance Kentucky Conservatives have to advance the cause. Please join us in supporting Bill Johnson.

Palin’s Good Sense of Humor

Leading the way Right

By Peter Andrew

Presumed 2012 Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin had conservatives laughing with some pretty amusing lines during the 2008 campaign. She’s a good sport too, having appeared on Saturday Night Live despite endless Tina Fey portrayals. However, she knows when humor goes too far (David Letterman, Family Guy) however, and that upsets at least one Hollywierd actress/

The Washington Post reports Andrea (Tina) Fay Friedman (herself, a person with Down’s Syndrome) thinks Palin should lighten up over the Family Guy stuff.

Meanwhile Seth MacFarlane (yeah, I never heard of him either) tells that pillar of moral values and superior intellect Bill Maher, that he “saved my Sarah Palin virginity for you…” Ha. That’s so funny. NOT.

Speaking of Tina Fey, she’s apparently reconsidered (money talks) her decision not to play Sarah Palin anymore. The Miami Herald reports she’s willing to help out the Obama 2012 campaign by renewing her portrayal of Governor Palin.

Not to worry, though. CNews says Sarah Palin is nothing more than a celebrity herself. You know, just like Tiger Woods. Nothing to be worried about if, say you’re a democrat who wants to be elected President in 2012.

There is some fairness out there, even though it is critical of Sarah Palin. Dorothy Rabinowitz writes at the Wall Street Journal about Palin’s odd endorsement of “radical libertarian” Rand Paul. Maybe that was a joke too?

It seems an odd endorsement to us as well. Rabinowitz notes that Rand Paul’s “views are clear: He stands opposed to the Patriot Act and he wants to cut defense spending.” — Not exactly the “Sarah-Palin-type” candidate. It would be tough for any Conservative to explain their support for Rand Paul or either of these foolish positions. Like ConservativeAmerican.org though, Rabinowitz is fair to Sarah Palin and, I think, honest in her report. For example, she agrees with us about Charles Hubris Gibson’s childish and unfounded attack on Sarah Palin. At the time Gibson insisted Palin was not qualified to be VP, he ignored the fact she had more qualifications than Bill Clinton did when he ran or Howard Dean did when he ran. Gibson was not critical of either of them. Rabinowitz writes, “And after a daunting encounter with ABC’s Charles Gibson—a civilized presence and one of the most genial of men ever to occupy a news anchor’s chair—now turned into an oaf unable to conceal disdain as he questioned his guest on her capacities for office…” Oaf is putting it nicely.

As for Rand Paul, joke or not, ConservativeAmerican.org cannot support this endorsement. We have endorsed, and continue to support the candidacy of Conservative American Bill Johnson for the Kentucky Senate Seat. He’s the true Reagan conservative in the race, the real outsider, and the choice of Tea Partiers. Learn more about him here…

Problems with Obama Deficit Commission

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

Conservative American News & Views.

The President is signing an executive order creating a new commission to look into ways to solve the deficit. Unlike the committee republicans supported, the President’s commission will have no authority or power. Among the commission’s biggest problems; we already know their conclusion, and they are wrong on both counts!

The commission gives Obama cover to do absolutely nothing about the deficit while he awaits the secret findings of the blue ribbon beer summit commission. He already knows the two points they will make…

  1. Reduce spending, and
  2. Increase taxes.

As for reducing spending, on the surface Conservative Americans agree with this half of the findings. However, the reductions suggested will be meaningless in comparison to the size of the federal budget and the Obama-sizing Deficit. They’ll suggest eliminating this republican idea or that one, and they forge ahead with phony “cuts” that merely reduce the size of scheduled increases (but still allow agencies to increase spending each year…thus, there is NO REAL cut at all).

How about sizeable cuts to failed liberal programs? How about eliminating entire departments and agencies? The world would not end without a federal department of education. Each state already has its own. It may be something they want in Washington, but it is not needed nor is it affordable. Get the government out of the car business. Get the government out of the mortgage business by eliminating any funding, backing or subsidies for Fannie Mae, Tammy Faye, or Freddie Mac. Get the government out of the mail and package delivery business. Keep funding strong for our national defense while getting rid of the national endowment for the arts and other programs that give grants out to non-essential things. You could go on and on. The government has been Obama-sized and it will take time to undo this man’s mess.

As for the commission’s second finding, that we increase everyone’s taxes, it is factually and historically wrong. Democrat John F. Kennedy and Republicans Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush cut taxes and saw an increase in federal revenue. That’s because the reduction in the tax burden allows for economic growth. More people with jobs. More people paying taxes. Enough more paying taxes at a lower rate that MORE money comes in to Uncle Sam, not less. Raising taxes will crush the economy and that seems to be the Obama by-design plan anyway.

This makes the entire Obama Deficit Commission an utterly stupid waste of time and nothing more than a political gimmick designed to create a 15-second sound bite that shows Americans Obama is (*gag*) doing something about the deficit. Nevermind the fact, he Obama-sized the deficit! The Associated Press reported Obama has quadrupled the deficit! Despite his constant lies that he inherited a deficit of $1.3-Trillion (which the media just accepts and repeats through its repeating stations), the defecit was never even $1-Trillion until after Barack Obama became president.

It’s more deliberate deception from President Obama.

What Conservative Americans Stand For

Saturday, August 22nd, 2009

People toss around terms like liberal and conservative, but do we all know what these terms mean? What does a conservative American believe? What does it mean to be conservative? Why should we support conservatives? Many people think of “conservative” as a dirty word, almost a fringe element of politics…that comes thanks to a few goofballs in the public and a whole bunch of democrats in the media. They’d even have you believe, as Chucky Doll Todd suggests at MicroSoftNBC, that George W. Bush was a conservative! Not so.

Let’s set the record straight. Conservatives are not mean. Conservatives don’t hate other people based on race, sexual orientation or religion. Conservatives don’t want to convert everyone to Christianity or force God on anyone.

Conservatives believe things you believe. We share your values. Like you, we think the United States of America is the greatest nation on earth. So what does it mean to be conservative? Below is a list of 14 core values of conservatives. You might be surprised to learn you are a conservative after all!

Bored Palin Finds Plenty of Time to Read

The only Official Sarah Palin Fan Club! ConservativeAmerican.org - Leading the way Right By Peter Andrew

I think it’s a fair question to ask when Alaska GovernorSarah Palin would be able to find hours of free time to sit with some coffee and bon-bons and just read a book.

I read an interesting article recently, not at all negative toward Sarah Palin, that talked about all the books Ronald Reagan would read. It pointed out that those who would visit Reagan in the oval office or even on Air Force One would report back on the book he was reading at the time. The Yorktown Patriot article then asked if all those books he read really mattered:

Does it matter? - Well, when you are asked by Katie Couric what newspapers or books you’ve read, you can tell her without blinking, and that brings me to Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin is a real person lacking any of the artificiality we see in the well coiffed and cosmetically improved candidate of today. She did not have the luxury of a college education with conservative faculty who tutored her in the basics she would need in her future political life. Sarah Palin earned the credits she needed for a Bachelor’s degree and did so at a series of colleges and universities. She married, had five children, one a Downs syndrome baby, entered politics, first as mayor of a small hamlet in Alaska, and then became Governor of Alaska. From that obscurity she was plucked and thrown into the national spotlight and subjected to intense scrutiny. What we saw and heard, we liked.

We liked it too. Still do. Coastal Liberals have decided and defined what it means to be “qualified” and Palin did not fit their elitist view. You have to be an ivy-league, pompous and arrogant liberal to live up to the Katie Couric (C-for Couric-BS-for BS) crowd’s vision of what makes up “presidential material.” The fact she, and the rest of the Obama 2008 media ignored Joe Biden’s amazing lack of wisdom is beyond me. How smart can Katie Couric be if she thinks Joe Biden is better for the VP spot than Sarah Palin? You can find Dreams of My Father on Couric’s night stand. This Biden guy just gave away the location of his own secret hideout if our nation is attacked! Not the sharpest tool in any shed, regardless of the title of the last book he read.

Which brings me to my conclusion. My wife and I have five children too. I know that she hardly has time to anything at all keeping up with the kids. If she does get a free minute, she’d just assume sleep! Yes, she made time for herself to read all the Harry Potter books the day they came out. That’s good. She deserves it. But she rarely has time to just sit and read. How is it that Sarah Palin is supposed to have time to read from the great scholars of all time, read all the liberal newspapers that Couric thinks are important, take care of her five kids, and run the state of Alaska all at the same time? If John Stossel were here, he’d say “Give me a break!”
