The Official list of Obama Administration Scandals

1. Jeremiah Wright Obama Scandal - Obama pledges never to disown his pastor despite Rev. Wright’s anti-American and racist rants available on YouTube.  Wright asks God during a service to condemn America.  Days after the news broke, Obama tosses Wright under the bus along with his white grandmother in a clumsily handled press conference on racial relations.
2. Father Michael Pfleger Obama Scandal - Another “man of God” that Obama calls a spiritual advisor, he spoke at Obama’s church mocking Hillary Clinton saying she expected to win only because she was white.  Obama finally decides he should leave the Church.
3. Tony Rezko Obama Scandal - Obama is able to buy a great house in a nice neighborhood at a great price with the help of the indicted political fundraiser Tony Rezko. Rezko buys the lot next door and then sells it to Obama for far less than it’s value. Obama admits not handling that one properly.
4. Bill Ayers Obama Scandal - Three times before the cock crows, Obama denies have a “relationship” with Bill Ayers. Obama started his political career in Ayers’ home. Obama served on an foundation’s education board with Bill Ayers. Bill Ayers is a home-grown terrorist and founder of the Weather Underground which bombed the pentagon and people’s homes. His wife also used to work with Michelle Obama. However, Obama maintains Terrorist Ayers is “just a guy in my neighborhood.”
5. Emil Jones Obama Scandal - Jones has been called Obama’s political Godfather, the man who taught Obama all he knows.  Jones “is known for steering state money to a few favored institutions, including some that employ his relatives. Several of his relatives have gotten state jobs, and his wife’s government salary jumped 60 percent after he became Senate president. He has played an important role in blocking ethics legislation in Illinois.” (Source AP)
6. Rashid Khalidi Obama Scandal - Another terrorist friend of Barack Obama.  Khalidi was an advisor to the PLO.  They had dinner together, Obama served on a board with Khalidi, and Khalidi held fundraisers for Obama.  Jesse Jackson Sr. promised one audience that the Jewish influence on American foreign policy would soon come to an end with an Obama victory.
7. Obama Books Scandal - Obama wrote in his own book, “I chose my friends carefully.  The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos.  The Marxist professors and the Structural Feminists.”  Yeah, he chooses his friends carefully.  See the first six scandals on our list.
8. Obama Family Scandal - Turns out Obama’s Aunt is here in the United States as an Illegal!  Also, while preaching at his acceptance speech about looking out for your brother, Obama leaves his own half-brother to live in a hut in Africa.  The “change we can believe in” apparently is in the family values category.
9. Scandal: Obama Insults Nancy Reagan - Obama said “I didn’t want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about doing any seances.” It was a reference to Nancy Reagan talking with Astrologers while she was living in the White House.  Smooth.
10. Obama Lied - Smoking Scandal - Obama said that he had quit smoking when, in fact, he had not. Obama lied to the American people about an issue that takes thousands of lives each year.  He promises not to smoke in the White House though.
11. Obama Appointment Scandal # 1 Military - Robert Gates - Obama gets in big trouble with Code Pink and Moveon for keeping Bush defense secretary Robert Gates and more than 150 of the 250 political appointees at the Pentagon.  Liberals mad at Obama suggest there might not be any change they can believe in.
12. Obama Appointment Scandal # 2 Bill Richardson - Gov. Bill Richardson removes himself from the running to be US Commerce Secretary, supposedly because of an on-going investigation into a possible “pay-for-play” deal in Richardson’s state.  However, the Obama camp knew about that before it named him as its nominee to the post.  So the real deal is?
13. Obama Appointment Scandal # 3 Susan Rice - Susan Rice, soon to be nominated for UN Ambassador, wants US troops to attack the Sudanese military, she wants US troops to join with UN forces on the ground in Darfur, and the US Air Force to enforce a no fly zone over Darfur.  Rice is immature and dangerous to be placed in such a position of authority by a man, Obama, who has demonstrated time and time again that he is a VERY poor judge of character. Rice is a far left blogger who calls conservatives “hacks” and says she “cussed and spat” when George W. Bush spoke of Iraq.  She also believes Bush deliberately decided not to protect states which voted democrat from terrorists!
14. Obama Senate Seat Scandal # 1 Blagojevich Sells Seat - Illinois Governor Rod Blagojeich, elected with help from US Senator Barack Obama who said Blago ran “a sound administration”, is arrested for trying to sell Obama’s vacant US Senate seat to the highest bidder.  For weeks, Obama basically has no comment.  Just before Christmas he announces his staff did nothing improper.  Both Obama and Blago have ties to Tony Rezko.
15. Obama Senate Seat Scandal # 2 Rahm-Rod-ing Valerie Jarrett - As scandal breaks about filling Obama’s vacant US Senate Seat, word leaks out that Obama point man Rahm Emanuel tried to shove Valerie Jarrett down Rod Blagojevich’s throat.  With no promised reward for Blago, the Illinois Governor told the new Prez, “No deal!”
16. Obama Senate Seat Scandal # 3 Reid Reportedly Says No Blacks - The Chicago Tribune runs a story saying Harry Reid called Blago to tell him not to appoint three different men to the Obama senate seat, all of whom are black.  Reid reportedly suggests two white people instead.
17. Obama Inauguration Scandal - Some esitamtes put the Barack Obama Coronation price-tag at $100-million!  So big spending on the next CEO of our nation is okay, but other CEO’s have to skip the spa’s and the private plane rides? Blatant Hypocrisy.

US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid-er today told NBC’s “Meet the Democrat Press” that he does not remember his phone call with Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich about who should replace Barack Obama in the US Senate.  Reider also indicated he does not remember if he offered any names of people who would be good.

That’s a pretty lousy memory for something that happened just a few weeks ago!  However, Reid is getting older.  I do remember the democrats pointing out that old guys like McCain (and Reid) could drop dead at any minute.  Maybe that explains it.

However, Reid says he DOES remember that he did NOT offer any names of people who should NOT take the Obama senate seat.  My mother calls that kind of thing “selective hearing loss.”

Reid is involved in this Obama administration scandal.  The Chicago Tribune says he did, in fact, tell Blago not to appoint three men, all of whom were black.

How does Reid explain the difference in the two stories?  He says Blago is just making all that stuff up and that it never happened.

The federal prosecutor has tapes of the phone conversation between Blago and Reid.  We can quickly find out who is telling the truth if the prosecutor would just release the tape of that call or a transcript of that call.  Don’t hold your breath, however.  The prosecutor is a democrat hoping for an Obama re-appointment.

Dick Durbin

Where the Heck is US Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) in all of this scandal about filling Barack Obama’s old senate seat?

Durbin has said VERY LITTLE about any of this.  He was reportedly upset about the situation before the news even broke, because Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich took 12 days to return Durbin’s phone call.   Durbin apparently wanted to make sure his opinion was considered when a decision was made.

The H.R. Huff-n-Stuff Post reported on November 24th:

“Senator Dick Durbin finally spoke with Gov. Blagojevich about President-elect Obama’s Senate replacement, according to a comment from a Durbin staffer to Capitol Fax. Durbin, who has an uneasy relationship with Blagojevich, had publicly expressed his frustration that the governor had not been returning his calls.”

Yeah.  Who does Blago think he is not to return Dick Durbin’s calls?  Durbin was quick to return the political mistreatment when Blago was arrested.  From NBC News reporter Carrie Dann on December 9th:

“Sen. Dick Durbin…called today for a special election to fill Barack Obama’s Senate seat, saying that “no appointment could produce a credible replacement” in light of this morning’s arrest of Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Durbin says he spoke with a member of the state’s general assembly this morning, urging the legislature to enact a law calling for a special election and saying that a “tainted” appointment by the governor…would be unacceptable.  “I think it’s the only way out at this point,”  Durbin said…he hoped the Illinois legislature would put together a bill with a bipartisan supermajority, implying that resistance from the governor could be possible. “Most executives don’t like to give up any power,” he said.  Durbin also lamented what he described as a strained relationship with the governor of his state, calling him a “difficult man to communicate with” who dallied for 12 days before returning Durbin’s phone call last month in regard to the Senate appointment. ”

Sure sounds like poor Mr. Durbin had his feelings hurt. Does the US Prosecutor’s office have tapes of the call between Blago and Durbin? What did Durbin say?  Did Durbin, as US Senate Majority Whip, urge Blago NOT to appoint one of three black men as Harry Reid reportedly did?  Did Durbin also suggest Lisa Madigan as Reid did?  Why isn’t the press asking Durbin more about this?

Durbin may soon have more than his feelings hurt. FOX NEWS reports:

“William Walls of the Committee for a Better Chicago called Harry Reid’s opposition to the appointment of Jackson, Davis or Jones, all of whom are black, an act of racism. “The U.S. Senate is an institution that is primarily white and has been forever and some people are more comfortable with people of their own kind,” Walls told FOXNews.com. “Harry Reid seems to be one of those people.” Walls has vowed to rally activists in an effort to politically defeat Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin and Secretary of State Jesse White if they don’t support Blagojevich’s appointment  for the seat, Roland Burris.”

Barack Obama has yet to take office and already there several scandals surrounding people close to him and the friends he picks.  As another example of the Democrat “Culture of Corruption,” Gov. Bill Richardson today took himself out of the running to be Obama’s Commerce Secretary.  Michael Shear of the Washington Post reports there is an on-going investigation into Richardson and possible “pay-to-play” scandals.

Shear’s story reports:

“The importance of the inquiry was apparently dismissed when Richardson was first nominated. But it may have taken on more weight in light of the “pay-to-play” allegations involving Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.”

While Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was teased for saying, “You Betcha!”, Caroline Kennedy apparently has her own vocabulary problem.  News Blaze.com is reporting Kennedy, ya’ know, just has to, ya’ know, say “Ya’ know” quite often.  From the News Blaze:

“By the count of the New York Daily News, Caroline Kennedy used the phrase ‘you know’ two hundred times in an interview with the Daily News, a hundred and thirty times in an interview with the New York Times, and eighty times in an interview with TV station New York.” That totals 410 “you knows.”

Kennedy could wind up, ya know, being Palin’s opponent in a 2016 Presidential race.  It could happen.  You betcha.

News reports say US Senate Majority “leader” Harry Reid-er was involved in the controversy over filling the senate seat of the half-black prince, Barack Obama.  FOX News is reporting Reid called Blago six days before the Illinois Governor was arrrested to talk about the seat.

Harry Reider reportedly urged Blago NOT to appoint several black people to the post including Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., Congressman Danny Davis and Obama friend Emil Jones.   Instead Harry Reider urged the Blago Wizard to use his magic to appoint one of several white people including Lisa Madigan.  Fox Reports:

Sen. John Cornyn, R-TX, said Reid needs to explain his actions.Reid “took the extraordinary step to lobby against two sitting U.S. congressmen and the state Senate majority leader in Illinois, and instead told Gov. Blagojevich that he supported an appointment for an individual who recently lost a U.S. House election,” he said in a written statement, referring to Duckworth. “The people of Illinois deserve a simple explanation from Sen. Reid,” he continued. “Why does he believe these three Illinois officeholders are ‘unelectable’ to the U.S. Senate?”

We have gone on record saying Roland Burris should be seated in the U.S. Senate to take Barack Obama’s place.  However, we’d also like to go on record saying Congressman Bobby Rush is a racist and behaves beneath the dignity of the office he holds.

Accused Criminal Blagojevich, Racist Rush, & Roland Burris

Fox News is reporting that Rush and his pals in the Congressional Democrat Liberal Black Caucus are putting US Senators on record that a move to block Burris will be viewed as a racist act.  The only racist here is Bobby Rush who is insisting that the candidate who fills the Obama seat must be judged on the color of his/her skin rather than the content of his character.  Martin Luther King, Jr. would be rolling over in his grave to see where this “Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. Poor Me-Style” leadership has taken the wonderful movement he started.

From Fox News:

“U.S. Rep. Bobby Rush forcefully backed Blajogevich’s decision on the basis of race this week, warning the public not to “lynch” Blajojevich’s Senate pick. “This is a matter of national importance,” Rush said at the news conference announcing the selection of Burris for the job. “There are no African-Americans in the Senate, and I don’t think that anyone, any U.S. senator who’s sitting in the Senate right now wants to go on record to deny one African-American for being seated in the U.S. Senate.”

Notice how it’s okay for Rush, who is black, to use the term “lynch.”  If a white person used that term in the context of seating or not seating a US Senator based on his/her skin color, there would be riots in the streets.  Rush and his pals are hypocrites who have no place in leadership.  He should step down in disgrace.

For all the lefty nuts out there, let me repeat that I have gone on record on this site saying Burris is a good man (I met him) and should be seated.  While I do not agree with his politics, it is a waste of time, money and effort not to seat this man.   Burris is, as far as we know, a clean politician who has stayed above the sleezy nature of the Democrat party in Illinois.

Because the Democrat Office of the President-Elect and the Media have decided the following:

1. It’s okay to be sexist in politics and talk about the body and appearance of politicians like Obama (Got Proof?),
2. It’s important to discuss the skin color of politicians including Obama (Got Proof?),
3. and that the color of a person’s skin matters more than the content of one’s character (Got Proof?)

we offer the following suggestions for soon-to-be-President Obama in 2009.  We only do this because the dems, libs and socialists have decided it is appropriate to discuss such things.

For official doggy of the first only half-white President of the United States…

It’s no mutt, but it is handsome and likely can jump in the waves in Hawaii.  This could be a good fit.  Also, this way the Associated Democrat Press won’t have to wonder what to call the official first dog…is it black? Is it white? Is it biracial? Black with white spots? White with black spots?

For official song of the new half-black President’s administration, we suggest Wierd Al Yankovic be invited to sing “All bone-y and Mahogany.”  This could go with the official musical instrument.

Then, for when the going gets tough and we have B.O. in the White House, the Official mascot

Was that mean? Why is it okay for the democrats, liberals and socialists to talk about what a hottie Obama is, how big his muscles are, how great it is that we have “the first black president” (when, in fact, we don’t), the size of his ears, etc.  This is the same crowd that also thinks it is fine to discount Sarah Palin for “only” being a woman.  Why don’t they talk about what a hottie she is?  Doesn’t that make her qualified? Seems to make you more popular as a democrat.  This is the same group of liberal media (Reuters photographers) that thought it was okay to take photo after photograph showing ONLY Sarah Palin’s legs.  It’s always fine for the rich, white democrats and liberals to make an issue out of sex-appeal and skin color.  However, when a republican or (worse yet) a conservative dares to do this, then it is called “hate mongering” and “racist” and many other far worse things.  These guys are hypocrites.

This fits in nicely with the democrat-approved theme of it’s okay to be sexy, black and white at the same time.  Somehow she does it nicer than Bill Clinton when he tried.

Obama has a tremendous opportunity as President of the United States and a man who is, at least partially, black.  He can speak often and clearly to young African Americans, especially males.  He can speak in ways that are motivational and uplifting and point to his own accomplishments as proof there is a strong future for all of those who work hard and study.  In all seriousness, he can make a huge change in the thought patterns of black Americans if he wants to.  He can end the  Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr.  “poor me”  entitlement nonsense  and inspire these good young people to forget about that past and instead work to achieve, get educated, get good jobs, get married before having children, raise strong families and enjoy fully the greatness that America has to offer all Americans regardless of color.  He can have Bill Cosby beside him frequently and let Bill give his inspiring talks to young black Americans.

Obama really can make a huge change, if he wants to.

I hope he does want to and I hope he will do this.  It can be his huge lasting legacy.

I have an unusual take on the fact embattled Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich has appointed Roland Burris to fill the US Senate Seat vacated by President-Elect Barack Obama. I say let Burris fill the seat.

I met Roland Burris back when I was a reporter in that state and he was Illinois Comptroller. He then became Illinois Attorney General. He was the first black (he actually is black, unlike Obama) to hold a state office in Illinois. Yes, of course, he is a liberal democrat. No, I don’t want anymore liberal democrats in the US Senate. But look at the facts a bit with me.

• Blago is in big trouble for trying to sell the senate seat. That’s Blago’s problem, not Burris’s.
• Illinois is overwhelmingly a liberal democrat state and the chances are that whomever filled the seat vacated by Obama would be a liberal democrat.
• Yes, we could have (and still might have) a special election to fill the seat. Politicians are promising to fight Blago’s appointment every step of the way. They are fighting because they want to get rid of Blago, not because of who Roland Burris is. If we have a special election, the republicans can put up a moderate and try to win the seat. Chances of winning? Slim to none. Even if republicans did win the seat, they would not do so with anyone close to a conservative American. It would be a McCain centrist and I have had enough of them. A special election may clean up the process a bit, but it won’t do anything at all to help our side. Are the republicans in Illinois supposed to say to voters they should pick a republican because the democrats are so corrupt? The last republican governor of Illinois remains in prison for his corruption. A special election would do nothing for us.
• The governor does get to appoint the person and he has not been convicted of anything yet.
• Politically, the democrats probably were going to appoint a black liberal democrat to this seat anyway.
• Who were the choices that were not part of the scandal surrounding the sale of the senate seat? Anyone? Hello?
• From what I know of Roland Burris, he is a decent and good man. I was impressed when I met him. I do not agree with his political positions and will not be a supporter of his liberal positions in the US Senate. However, with so many politicians in Illinois being corrupt, I think Burris might be a good choice. He may be as crooked as the rest of them, but there are no accusations against him.

So why waste time, money and political pressure trying to prevent this guy from taking the seat? It’s either him or another Roland Burris. It doesn’t really matter. Let the guy have the senate seat. Prosecute Blago and put him in jail next to George Ryan. Let’s move on.
