Fox News made me laugh this afternoon with this story: “Palestinians want quick cease fire resolution from U.N.” What a crock of crap. The Palestinians don’t want to stop firing their rockets, they just want Israel to stop eliminating them. They have never followed through on any cease fire agreement and are hell-bent on the destruction of Israel. They lie, the world community and the liberal press go goo-goo over them, and then some stupid cease fire is signed calling for Israel to show restraint and respond proportionately. Another load of crap. The United States would never show “restraint” or offer a “proportionate” response to a nation that continually fired missiles at our citizens. We would wipe them out. It is arrogant and wrong for anyone in this great nation to deny Israel the same right. Those supporting the Palestinians on this one treat the whole issue as if you have two equal sides with a disagreement and there must be some comprimise. That’s nothing more than liberal dribble designed to make those speaking the words feel better. There are not two equal sides on this one. Palestine is a nation founded on terrorism, run by terrorists and hell-bent on the destruction of a neighboring country and all of it’s citizens. Israel should continue its ground efforts with great force and end this stupidity once and for all. If Iran wants to get in on the action, so be it. That terrorist regime needs to be dealt with too.
NBC BullSh** online today
The insane liberal nuts at NBC so-called News have a “slideshow” on their homepage they call “Young Lives Cut Short.” The contents? It features shots of dead Palestinians. The point? They want their audience to conclude Israel must be awful for doing this to those “young” Palestinian terrorists. Give me a freaking break. Did the socialist NBC network ever run pics of all the Israeli bomb attacks and call it “Young Lives Destroyed by Palestine?” Of course not. That would not fit their pre-conceived liberal nonsense.
“We will do all that is necessary to provide a different reality for southern Israel, which has been under constant attacks for the past eight years,” Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni told a television station today.
Israel is showing strength and determination in beginning it’s ground war with Hamas terrorists today. To be honest, I didn’t think they would do it. I figured another lame cease fire would be put into place that Hamas would again ignore. It is nice to have President Bush finally acknowledging that a cease fire that allows rocket attacks by Hamas on Southern Israel is not acceptable.
CBS News is reporting there are protests around the world both for, and against Israel. CBS quotes a terrorist supporter in South Dakota (of all places) at a rally against Israel: “Protester Mohamed Sharif of Sioux Falls said they want an immediate cease-fire and humanitarian aid to the people living in Gaza.
“People are being deprived of their necessities, water and medicine and food and clothes. Now they’re being killed. This is what we’re opposing, the killing of civilians.”
Hey Mohamed, war is hell buddy. Get your pals in Hamas that you love so much to stop firing rockets at innocent civilians in southern Israel then your terrorist friends can have their necessities. The CBS report has numerous paragraphs about protestors upset with Israel and very, very little about protestors on the right side of the issue:
Some activists are billing the demonstrations as counter-rallies against what they call “assemblies of hatred for Jews and Israel.” Sunday’s protest in Miami, to be held at the Holocaust Memorial, is billed as the Rally For Israel to Destroy Hamas.
I was wrong before in thinking Israel would not conduct the ground war. i hope I am wrong again in thinking they will not continue long enough to destory Hamas.
The same liberals who had no problem with the media lack of fairness and lack of balance in favor of Barack Obama’s candidacy, suddenly expect things to be “fair and balanced.” I heard a radio interview today where a reporter asked the United Nations to explain why it was so “one sided” in its approach to the Israeli war against Hamas. What?
One sided? Is this the same political correctness that teaches that no one person’s “opinions” are any more or less true, right or valuable than any other person’s?
There is a huge problem here with asking the UN to be fair and balanced (aside from the fact the UN is a joke). One side is right and the other side is wrong. Israel is a nation of free people who desire peace. Palestine is a loosely structured nation where terrorists groups like Hamas torture their own members into submission. There is absolutely no comparison to be made between a terrorist organization which will only be satisfied when Israel is wiped off the face of the earth and the free people of Israel who have been ridiculously patient with Palestinian terrorists through the years. Israel has every right to continue this battle on the ground and to see it to it’s end in Iran.
To be fair and balanced to humanity, the USA and the UN must do what is right and just and support the nation of Israel in its war on terror.
You have got to read the post at “Thoughts of Conservative Christian” about the (should have) Move(d)-On.org website. This wacko group of lefties is supporting Palestinian terrorists over Israel in the international war on Terror. Click the link to check out what Bud Simmons writes.
This is only the start of this mess and we’d better be certain we are on the correct side of this. We need to back Israel strongly.
We told you the other day that Israel would likely be at war with Iran in 2009. We also asked if the Hamas rockets used to bombard Israel have “made in Iran” stickers on them. Now from Fox news:
“Hardline student groups in Iran have asked the government for authorization to send suicide brigades to Israel, in response to that country’s strikes on Hamas strongholds in the Gaza strip. The government of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has not yet responded to the calls, but said of Israel Wednesday that “this hated regime is on the slope of a crash and with the grace of God soon will fall and nothing can save it.”
Hamas must be destoryed. The allies of terror in Iran must be defeated and ousted from power. Terror cannot be allowed to reign on any soil. As we end 2008, we face a 2009 with Terror’s War on Us promising to be a bloody one. Our new president will have to deal with this firmly.
The Former Israeli Prime Minister is echoing what ConservativeAmerican.org said yesterday about a “war to the bitter end” with the terrorist group, Hamas. Benjamin Netanjahu tells reporters there is no chance for a cease fire until all of the Hamas rockets are destroyed. Even then, he points out, while Israel has tried to establish Peace, Hamas terrorists are not interested in any peace that allows Israel to continue to exist. He told FOX news that Hamas must eventually be eliminated completely. Netanjahu said the question is if the “eventually” will take place as soon as all Hamas rockets are destroyed or if it will happen sometime in the future.
Either way, it will be a war to the bitter end. Has anyone looked on all these Hamas rockets to see the “Made in Iran” stickers?
All over the internet, and all over the world there are some insignificant protests against the USA over the fact that one of our allies is fighting terrorism. They’re mad at us because Israel is bombing the tar out of Hamas. Fox News reports today:
“By far the largest protest in the Arab world — where outrage over Israel’s air strikes continued into a third day — took place in Lebanon, with tens of thousands of Lebanese Hezbollah supporters standing under pouring rain.”
Are we supposed to feel bad that they had to stand in the rain? I’m sure our new President, Barack Obama will want to sit down and talk with Hezbollah to straighten this out. Let me get this right….Hezbollah has been mad at us for three days and we should care, why? Some terrorist group turns out 10,000 people in Lebanon to yell and scream that the USA is a terrorist group. This is worth nothing more than a groan. Why should we give a flying rat’s rear end that Hezbollah terrorists round up thousands of people (no doubt under threat of death) to protest and call us terrorists?
Maybe when Israel is done with Hamas they can do the world a favor and wipe out Hezbollah too. Any other terrorists care to stand up and get in line to be eliminated?
I, for one, am tired of our nation telling Israel to practice restraint when there’s no way we would do that ourselves. We should b a strong ally and support them on this one. Maybe Israel is hurrying up and trying to get this done by January 19th. After that, Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr. says Obama won’t be a friend to Israel.
Israel says this is a war to the bitter end. The real force behind many of these terrorist groups is no longer Bin Laden. He has be rendered impotent by the great nation we call our own. Many roads in the terror supply network now lead to Iran. Israel will not wait forever to attack Iran. I look for them to launch strikes within Iran in 2009. Perhaps that will be the test Joe Biden promised us Obama will face.
Israel continues to pummel Hamas sites in the Gaza strip of Palestine today. FOX News has the headline today, “War to the Bitter End!” Let’s remember that Hamas is a terrorist organization and nothing more. War to the bitter end? You mean to destroy Hamas completely? Let’s hope so.
Israel’s Defense Minister told Fox:
“We have stretched our hand in peace many times to the Palestinian people. We have nothing against the people of Gaza,” Ehud Barak said to a special session of parliament. “But this is an all-out war against Hamas and its branches. The restraint that we have demonstrated is the source of our strength when it is time to fight.” Israel’s air force obliterated symbols of Hamas power on the third day of its overwhelming Gaza assault, striking a house next to the Hamas premier’s home, devastating a security compound and flattening a five-story building at a university closely linked to the Islamic terror group (photo).
You cannot have peace when one side is vehemently opposed to it. From the PLO, the originators of modern day terrorism, to Hamas, these terrorist groups have demonstrated they have no interest in peaceful co-existence. They want a world with no Israel.
We should stand by Israel in this war and offer them any assistance they want or need. This should be viewed as part of the War on Terror. We would not (and did not) sit by the sidelines and let another nation harbor terrorists who have as a mission to end our existence. We also should not ask this of Israel. Too often our leaders issue quick responses calling for Peace. Of course we want peace. However, it is not possible in this situation without an Israeli victory. With the aim of securing a lasting peace, this war must be fought to the bitter end. I doubt it will be, but we can always hope.
President Bush can still tangle with the best of them! Bush dodged two shoes being thrown at him at a press conference in Iraq today. He later joked they were “size 10.” You do wonder in the video (below) where were the secret service guys at first? Watch the video to see Bush brush the whole thing off as no big deal. He says it’s all part of living in a free society…
A guest on the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” this morning said republicans seem to have an election addiction. Political researcher and author Frank Luntz mentioned the “addiction” and added “Sarah Palin is the cure.” Luntz did not say if democrats also have an election addiction, but the mere talk of 2012 seemed to frustrate him. That’s a bit odd since this is how he makes his living. In any event, Luntz told Friends that with two senate seats still up in the air, it’s basically too early to be thinking 2012.
“She is tough and shrewd,” Luntz said. As for those ‘Our Country’ political action committee ads running about Sarah Palin, he said they didn’t help the Alaska Governor. He pointed out the emcee of the ad made what Luntz thought was a stupid joke about sitting down for a Thanksgiving meal of turkey “or Moose.” While it is good to be able to laugh at yourself and your own favorite political candidates, that probably was a stupid line.
