The democrat party’s ABC “news” division is beside itself after the nomination today of Timothy J. Geithner to replace Henry Paulson as US Treasury Secretary.  ABC says, “you may think he and (Barack) Obama are brothers, separated at birth.”

Really?  So Geithner is half-black too?  Will Geithner then be the first biracial Treasury Secretary?  Will the headline read Geithner to be nation’s first black Treasury Secretary?

Are these men twins “separated at birth?”

The stock market closed up about 500 points on the news.  They seem to like the biracial Geithner.  ABC wipes the drool from its mouth and continues, “Both men are 47 years old”  Can you believe that? What are the chances? Wow.  Says ABC, “and spent part of their youth living abroad. Both have succeeded despite unusual backgrounds. Both men have developed a cadre of powerful and well-connected people who provide advice and guidance.

And both men like the occasional pickup basketball game.”

Geithner is President of the New York Federal Reserve Bank.  He is expected to be easily confirmed.  Let’s hope he is not bailout crazy.
