Cillizza 2nd to Understand Palin

ConservativeAmerican.org - Leading the way Right By Peter Andrew

ConservativeAmerican.org has been Leading the way Right on the Sarah Palin decision to step down. The media is at a loss to understand the move and the democrats have worked quickly to spin the story to a willing press. They want to position the news as “bizarre” and the end of Palin’s career. As we have noted, this is nothing but wishful thinking on their part.

Palin has some very sound and logical reasons for stepping down. Chris Cillizza of “The Fix” column at the Washington Post is one of VERY FEW reporters who has been fair to Sarah Palin along the road. With the current news, he understands. He gets it. Honestly folks, it is not that hard to understand. Cillizza posted a piece online late last night listing two reasons Sarah Palin is “here to stay — whether you like it or not.”

First, Palin released a statement on her Facebook page today that not only castigated the media for how they covered her announcement…but only sounded a distinctly presidential note…The second piece of evidence regarding Palin’s national ambitions came later today when her private attorney — Thomas Van Flein — released a four-page statement seeking to quash rumors that the Alaska governor’s decision to resign was motivated by ethics problems

Read Cillizza’s whole piece here. Cillizza calls the two moves “Palin’s 2012 Two-Step.” First she sends a positive message via Facebook, then lets her lawyer send the message that she won’t just lie down and take all the nonsense the left throws her way.

We’re glad we are finally not alone in understanding Palin is FAR from being “done” or “toast” as other commentators have claimed. Fox ran a piece, also last night, finally getting one of the reasons this is a good move. Others will understand in time. We’re just Leading the way Right. Again.
