“The choice of photo for the cover of this week’s Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this “news” magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner’s World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness - a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention - even if out of context. - Sarah Palin“
ConservativeAmerican.org notes that Newsweek is a joke. How can they be taken seriously when they claim to be a straight news magazine and simply declare on their own that Palin is “bad news?” Newsweek literally is “bad” news. It should be called democratweek magazine, or liberalweek, or perhaps the best name would be ObamaWeek magazine. This rag is already working for Obama 2012 and sees Palin as his biggest threat. That’s why they constantly try to attack her.
They more they hate her, the more we love her! Go Sarah!

I’ve heard people say she’s “brought it on herself,” I suppose because she wears make-up and such. But Newsweek is bending over bakwads in this case. They’re using a picture she shot for a fitness magazine out of context, for pete’s sake. It’s obvious they have it out for her.
It’s not as bad as the extra-special-extreme close-up they did a while back. Which was not bad because it was untouched, as some people misrepresented the complaint. It was bad because it was untouched, ridiculously close, and in perfect focus. I’d bet my left arm that no one can find a similar photo for any liberal personage.
By the way, she still looked hot (for a forty-something).
