Dems Celebrate Thanksgiving - Roasting Palin

From the Official Sarah Palin Fan Club Website

By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

Because of one or two people with video camera’s, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be roasted by many families this Thanksgiving. The jokes over red wine and a slice of moist white turkey meat will be about Sarah Palin smiling while turkeys were being killed.

Do people understand someone has to kill the turkey if we are going to eat it? It’s not like the turkeys would all live if Sarah Palin hadn’t done this. Still, the actions of one or two people who did this to Governor Palin on purpose, have the media going crazy with delight. They love to show this gross video and tie it to a woman most of them already hate. Nothing could taste better to them this Thanksgiving. They love to use personification to humanize the poor little turkeys! C’mon folks, these birds taste great…we love to eat them! That can only happen after someone butchers them! Still, the headlines try to make it seem as if Sarah Palin was laughing and having a good time while innocent “people” were being brutally murdered by monstrous butchers with grisly devilish intentions.

Marc Lester of the Anchorage Daily News framed this video on purpose. Perhaps one or more other people with video camera’s joined him in their own little career-building PR stunt. They wanted to “get” Sarah Palin while she still is big news, in order to build their own pathetic careers. Losers never understand that you don’t step on other people in order to make yourself “bigger.”

Are those the things you normally think of on Thanksgiving? Do you honestly think of the turkey “people” being brutally murdered by monsters dripping in dark red blood just so you can eat and watch football?

Anyone with a brain can figure out this video was shot on purpose. The people with the camera’s carefully framed the shots to make certain the butcher in the back was included, even the focus of the shot. They purposely avoided a close-up that would have cut this man and the bloody turkeys out of the shot. It even appears the man handling the turkeys in the back is in on the gag. He keeps turning to the camera and seems to be waiting for someone to signal him about what to do next. So how do the reporters in the democrat party media division report on this story?

We’ve listed some here for you. Their words are in maroon, our comments are in black.

San Francisco Examiner “While others die around her” Yep. Sarah just stood around while “others” died

San Francisco First website “with blood drenched background”

Gothamist website “Palin’s turkey pardon mishap” Oh, so this was her mishap??

AP “Palin pardons a turkey while others slaughtered” Associated Democrat Press got hundreds of media outlets to use the word “slaughter” to describe the preparation of your Thanksgiving meal. Enjoy!

BBC – “Palin pardon amid turkey butchery” We wouldn’t expect the Brits to understand Thanksgiving.

Sacramento Bee “turkeys go to slaughter after palin’s pardon” Makes it sound like she pardoned it, then they killed it anyway…ruthless republicans.

Cleveland Plain Dealer “Palin pardons turkey while others slaughtered nearby”

CBC News Canada “poultry-pardoning Palin interviewed in front of turkey slaughter” Implies she asked to stand there and that she was aware of how the camera person framed the shot to get all the blood in the picture. Give me a break.

NY Post “Palin pardons turkey –others slaughtered in background”

Anchorage Daily News – “Palin tries to ignore slaughter behind her” Implies she knew the butchering was in the video picture and knew it was wrong to do that, but just plain ignored it because she is an awful hate-filled conservative American.

USA Today – “Palin pardons turkey while workers slaughter one behind her”

In-forum.com – “Palin pardons 1 Alaska turkey while TV cameras capture fowl slaughter in background” Yeah, on PURPOSE!!! Why don’t any of you mention this was obviously intentional. There cannot be one of you stupid enough to actually believe the camera person was surprised when he got back to the newsroom to edit the tape and, only then, realized there was a gross and bloody scene in his picture. This is nonsense and you are all a bunch of frauds for not pointing this out. Why isn’t there at least one story that says, Palin Turkey Video Shot on Purpose to make her look bad.

LA Times – “Palin pardons a turkey, misses slaughter” Careful selection of the word “misses” to continue their pre-scripted story line that Sarah has absolutely no idea what is going on, even if it is right next to her. She just missed it, again.

Channel4.com – “Palin film is turkey - Palin PR stunt backfires” This is among the worst. It is not a Sarah Palin film, you idiots. It also is not a Palin PR stunt to include blood soaked butchers in the background with no teeth. You’re not that stupid, you know that. This was a cameraman PR stunt. This was a stunt by Marc Lester of the Anchorage Daily News and perhaps one or two more people with video camera’s.

KCRA TV Sacramento “Palin Pardons Turkey while Others killed” Yeah! And She didn’t even care, the monster!

Canadaeast.com – “Palin pardons turkey as video shows worker slaughtering birds behind her”

KTAB TV Abilene – “Palin Turkey Slaughter” You guys really make me sick. Sarah Palin did not slaughter any turkeys and you know it. You are lousy people. I used to be in the media and with everyone knowing the name I used on the air, I thought I was popular. Only after I quit did I realize that yes, everyone knew my name, but it was because they hated me! Just like they hate everyone in the press for the terrible things they do to people. Shame on you.

NBC Philadelphia – “Turkeys killed while Palin Talks” Big mouth couldn’t even close her yap long enough to save the turkeys.

KARE 11 Minneapolis – St. Paul – “Palin’s turkey pardon interview becomes too grisly for some”

The way the media has completely missed this story and butchered the truth is what is too grisly for us.

i noticed that you didn’t include the headline from the home page of foxnews.com

Palin Conducts TV Interview While Turkey Is Slaughtered

i guess fox news is part of the democrat party media division also.

i’m sorry that America is moving past conservative thinking and the GOP is now a regional party. everyday the republican party gets smaller and smaller because all the old, white folks are dying. it’s a new day, you should join in and help bring the US back to being the world leader it once was.

    thanks,
    Mike

    Mike,
Thanks for your comments. We should have included the FOX headline, you’re right. As you know, FOX has not been kind to Sarah Palin either. Could Carl Cameron be the source of his own Palin stories that he attributes to McCain staffers?

I must respectfully disagree that American is moving past conservatism. I’m not sure what you are basing that on. We didn’t have any conservatives running for President. It was basically Obama vrs. Obama Lite. Not much of a choice. Appreciate you taking part and look forward to more of your comments.
    Peter

In order for conservatives to defend their party they need to stop trying to defend the idiots, like Palin, who have sunk it. The more you defend Bush, Rummy, Palin etc. who’s hubris and ignorance have taken the conservative party where it is today the deeper you dig the hole they started. SARAH PALIN KNEW BEFORE THE CAMERA’S WERE ROLLING THE TURKEY SLAUGHTER WAS BEHIND HER. SHE SAID “NO WORRIES” WHEN TOLD. STOP DEFENDING THE PEOPLE WHO ARE SINKING YOUR PARTY AND YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY SEE THE REPUBLICAN BRAND BE RESPECTABLE AGAIN.

  4. Peter Andrew Says:

    Dave,
Read our site before you jump to conclusions. We have not been big defenders of Bush and never of Rumsfeld. You and I disagree on Sarah. That’s okay. Glad you are here and look forward to more of your comments!

Location for political interviews and speeches is crucial as any politician should know. Obama’s choice of the Victory Column in Berlin was controversial due to it’s history, distant and recent. What does standing in front of a dying Turkey symbolize? I think it may have to do with the death of the Republican party following the presently choking LAME DUCK. Anyone who defends the people who are slaughtering the Republican brand are not thinking. You are all ignorant turkeys!!!! Stop defending Palin and her ilk if you want anyone to think your politics are serious and not just sour-grapes style defensiveness!

  6. Dave Says:

If you defend the Iraq War’s given justifications (how many revisionist revisits can the neocons lay on us regarding why it was a good idea? Every reason just gets more absurd) then you defend Rumsfeld.

  7. Peter Andrew Says:

    Dave,
Buddy, relax a bit, eh? As you know, Palin is not the first nor the last politician to pardon a turkey at a turkey farm. Usually the people at the farm stop the “process” while the tv camera’s are there. The only turkeys being symbolized were the reporters. The republican brand was slaughtered by John McCain and moderate populists. Conservatives like me, and yes Sarah Palin, are the future of the party. Thank God. As for Rumsfeld, you’re really stretching things there. Again, glad to have your comments and feedback. Thanks and have a great Thanksgiving!
    Peter

hey, Mike is not correct that America is moving past conservatism….I agree. I consider myself conservative and would have gladly jumped on the band wagon had the party not been highjacked by religious fundamentalists and the “trickle down” theory. The Republicans have been letting us all eat cake for too long.

There will always be a place for a party that stands for smaller government but that’s NOT what the present GOP has stood for. It’s only been what they’ve said. When a group of people say one thing to maintain power but do another thing altogether it can only last so long before it becomes obvious that they are frauds.

As far as the Turkey thing goes, yes they usually stop “processing” turkeys or at the very least move to a better spot to film. Obviously they did not stop this time and that was clearly at Palin’s request. She seems to have thought she was speaking to a constituency that relishes a very hands-on meat-based diet (those who would vote for her because she shoots wolves from helicopters and makes moose stew). If she’s speaking to a base who are that extreme and that small it clearly says she has given up on the rest of us whose jaws drop at a politician doing an interview that looks like a Francis Bacon painting. It does not take a vegitarian to be horrified by that PR choice.

As long as the Republican party defends it’s weakest personalities it will struggle to regain it’s identity.

  9. Dave Says:

Yes do have a great Thanksgiving too.

  10. Peter Andrew Says:

I don’t assume that all conservatives are republican. Like you, I have a hard time saying I am republican if what they stand for is what we have seen from them lately. I refer to myself only as a conservative. Just as we don’t assume all republicans are conservative (we know better), we can’t assume the reverse either.
