Could an Earthquake Cause a Nuclear Mishap in the United States?
You can make your own assumptions from the map. It appears areas such as central and southern California would be at great risk of a disaster like the one unfolding in Japan. Southwestern Illinois, coastal Louisiana and central South Carolina also could be at risk along with the east coast areas of Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
