Why McCain is Positioned to Lose

By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

As the Federal Reserve Bank cut interest rates early this morning by 1/2 of a percent to 1.5%, people around America (and around the world) are very worried about the economy. The economy was the top issue in last night’s Tom Brokaw debate between Barack Hussein Obama and John “Maverick” McCain.

We have been noting that the Dow continues to tank even after this huge fix-all bailout the bums nonsense. Wall Street does not like to worry and it is worried. We doubt the Dow has found its low yet and it may not due so until after the election. What is the Dow worried about? We suggest the economy and the market are worried about the presidential election. The market is worried about Barack Obama. We have a race between a typical tax and spend liberal and the other guy provides no alternative. That is why John McCain is positioned to lose. He is convinced his MaverDick status, which he and his ego both love so much, will blow him into the white house. The reverse is happening. Voters feel there is no choice this year. You basically have a socialist (Obama) running against a democrat (McCain).

Dave Ramsey, Fox Business

The best analysis of last night’s debate comes from Dave Ramsey of Fox Business news. Ramsey said the market is “sick in bed” and the Obaminator’s answer is more liberalism; increase taxes (even if you buy his line about no increases for 95%, he still admits to wanting to increase taxes on at least some people) spend more on healthcare and energy creating even bigger government and add more government interference (regulation) into the economy. He said Barack Obama wants to take the sick market and “give it cancer” And he artfully points out that Johnny McCaint’s answer to the economic worries is to take that $700-billion bailout (really $850-billion) and do it again! McCain wants another $300-billion to buy out even more mortgages. So, let’s get this right. The Obaminable Snowed-Man wants to spend, spend, spend and get government more involved. John McCain provides an alternative though, right? McCain wants to spend, spend, spend and get the government more involved. Wait, that’s the same thing.
My friends, Johnny is not going to win unless he can provide an alternative to Obama. This is why John McCain is positioning himself to lose the election. He’ll also take any future Sarah Palin had in politics and flush it down the toilet as well. He should stand up, agree with Dave Ramsey and ConservativeAmerican.org, and say he was wrong about this bailout bill. He should quote the man he always says he was buddies with, Ronald Reagan. “Government is not the answer to our problems, government is the problem.” The market will not calm down until after the election. Then, it will have to find it’s true bottom and we should let capitalism (without interference from the White House and Congress) take its course to build up the economy once again. Barack Obama: Not Ready to Lead. John McCain: Ready to Lose.

[...] McCain’s proposal among right-wing bloggers is rabidly negative, as we see HERE and HERE and HERE and [...]

Pat, I am honored that you, as a liberal, don’t like the opinions put forth by ConservativeAmerican.org. Conservatives tend not to like big government, big intrustions into our lives, messing with capitalism and populist (read; Centrist) nonsense. We wanted to find out more about you…
From your website it says, “About Pat Cunningham
In 41 years as a print and broadcast journalist, most of those years with the Rockford Register Star, Pat Cunningham has covered national politics under eight American presidents. He’s attended 10 national political conventions, Republican and Democratic alike, and has interviewed countless prominent political players, including Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, Gerald Ford and George H.W. Bush.”

Big surprise that someone in the democrat party’s media wing is a liberal. Anyway, thanks for the endorsement!
