The Washington Post reports today that President Obama has a new challenge: reconciling what he has said about Sudan and the situation in Darfur, with what he is actually doing about it!

The self-described “cussing and spitting” Susan Rice, Obama’s liberal blogger turned U.N. Ambassador, also disagrees with the course Team Obama is taking. Obama is at odds with his own U.N. Ambassador regarding the Sudan. We are exclusively reporting that Susan Rice wants the U.S. to take military action in the Sudan, not to sit down and chat with them like Team Obama is doing!!!

From the Post:

The volatility of this East African nation (Sudan) — from the Darfur conflict to the threat of renewed civil war in the south — is becoming a test of how President Obama will reconcile a policy of engagement with earlier statements blasting a government he said had “offended the standards of our common humanity.”…U.S. diplomacy has remained mostly in the hands of Obama’s special envoy to Sudan, retired Air Force Maj. Gen. J. Scott Gration, who is pushing toward normalized relations with the only country in the world led by a president indicted on war-crimes charges.

That’s right. President Obama wants normal relations with a war criminal! You can’t make up this stuff. He’s trying to be President and his Rookie is showing.

Read the rest of this post to see why Rice may be upset with Obama, then add your comments and feedback! Thank you!

As we reported exclusively on December 1st of 2008, the cussing and spitting Susan Rice not only doesn’t want us to talk to the Sudanese, She wants us to bomb them!

This is all documented information from our December post…

With the naming today of Obama advisor Susan Rice to be the next UN Ambassador, you can look for the situation in Darfur to get more attention, and military action. The anti-war, ‘let’s just stay home’, democrats may not like this pick either. Rice is a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and a former assistant secretary of state in charge of African affairs.

Rice wants Congress to authorize the use of force to end genocide in Darfur, including strikes against Sudanese military locations. To make that clear, she wants US military troops to be ready to attack forces taking part in genocide. She also is asking Obama to use the US Air Force to enforce a no fly zone over Darfur.

Rice also wants NATO’s rapid response team and rapid deployment of UN Military Batallions in Darfur on the ground right now. Rice is pushing President Obama to do the following five things (ver batim from her):

“1) Impose tougher sanctions on Khartoum:

  • freeze dollar-denominated oil transactions;
  • pursue comparable sanctions in the UN Security Council or, failing that, with the European Union;
  • keep sanctions in place until Sudan allows the full and unfettered deployment and operation of the UN-AU force.
2) Support efforts to unify the rebel groups and negotiate a durable ceasefire and political agreement to end the conflict. 3) Speed deployment of the UN-AU force by training, equipping, airlifting, and otherwise supporting the rapid deployment of UN battalions:
  • contribute specialized capabilities and equipment—such as helicopters, night vision capability, command, control, communications, and intelligence (C3I) capabilities—to support the UN mission in Darfur;
  • obtain NATO agreement to deploy its NATO Response Force (NRF) to provide short-term augmentation and a bridging component to beef up the AU force until the full UN-AU hybrid can deploy.
4) Implement and robustly enforce, with NATO, a no-fly zone. The United States should also signal its readiness to strike Sudanese military and intelligence assets, including aircraft and airfields, if necessary. 5) Finally, Congress should authorize the use of force in order to end the genocide.”

This is unbelievable stuff and the mainstream media is not picking up on this story. Perhaps with the changes in Obama’s actions compared to his words, this may get some attention. Help spread the word. Share this story with your friends.
