Obama Talks Gitmo
Fox News says President Obama today will offer some comments about closing the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and what he plans to do with the terrorist detainees currently held there.
From Fox: “Some lawmakers have already voice opposition to bringing Guantanamo detainees to the U.S. for trial, even in heavily guarded settings.” WIth the AP story last night (see post below) that Obama plans to bring at least one terrorist here for trial, those lawmakers might be making a bit more noise later today.
Attorney General Eric ‘Let ‘em Go’ Holder has made contradictory statements about the fate of the terrorists held in Cuba. He has said both that they could be brought to the U.S. and that they won’t be brought to the U.S. President Obama is expected today to disagree with his own Attorney General on the matter…but which Holder will he disagree with?
