Obama Wants it Both Ways

President Barack Hugo Obama wants it both ways. He wants to be able to say he would never do anything to endanger Americans. At the same time he wants to bring terrorists to U.S. prisons for trials here.

To his own FBI director, the two things are not possible at the same time. Take this from the Associated Democrat Press:

FBI Director Robert Mueller told Congress that bringing Guantanamo detainees to the United States could pose a number of risks, even if they were kept in maximum-security prisons.

Gibbs and Attorney General Eric Holder both quickly responded that Obama would never do anything to endanger Americans.

Do these guys even listen to themselves? It has come to the point where if they open their mouths, you know a lie is on the way. You can’t have it both ways, Mr. Obama. Either you will keep us safe by not bringing these terrorist thugs to prisons in our neighborhoods, or you bring them here (which AP says you are going to do) and endanger us all.

It’s nothing more than a political game to Team Obama. If they really thought the prison at Guantanamo was such a bad idea (a “legal black hole” as Obama called it), then why does Obama have his own legal black hole prison in Iraq? (See Scandal #222 – “Obama’s Gitmo” on our Official Obama Administration Scandals List) It’s blazing hypocrisy.

This is nothing new for President Obama. On issue after issue, he pledges to do things one way, then does them the opposite way, and follows that with a promise to do things the first way he promised “from now on.” It’s the Obama Pattern.
