The resignation of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin certainly was a holiday weekend surprise. Palin twittered earlier saying more information and more of an explanation of her reasoning will be coming. She assured supporters the move is good for her and her family.
Fox News got to talk with Todd Palin…
Todd Palin told FOX News that his wife will concentrate on “doing the things for Alaska and the country” that she is passionate about and cannot do as governor with the limitation and constant opposition she deals with within the state.
Exactly what we have said (here). Fox also got a stupid comment from a socialist-democrat at the Socialist-Democrat Natonal Committee…
“Either Sarah Palin is leaving the people of Alaska high and dry to pursue her long shot national political ambitions or she simply can’t handle the job,” Democratic National Committee spokesman Brad Woodhouse said in a written statement, calling it the latest in a “pattern of bizarre behavior.”
These guys are pathetic. They were caught off guard and their desperation is showing. They know Palin is no long shot. They also know she is the most popular republican in the nation. They are very worried about her running against the nation’s first socialist president, the half-black Barack Obama. She has done an excellent job as Governor of Alaska, taking over and cleaning out (republican) problems. I guess Brad Woodhouse forgot that. Brad also makes a foolish attempt to continue their stupid position that she is bizarre. A woman who makes strong and bold moves apparently is “bizarre” to the democrat national committee. What a bunch of losers.
