Former Clinton White House adviser Lanny Davis says the problem Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has is that she is “unqualified.” The more they repeat this lie the more mainstream it becomes and the more likely people are to believe it. However, it simply is not true.

Davis told Fox news recently, “”The problem that Sarah Palin has with her resignation is the credibility that she can do more as a nongovernor than as a governor. That simply makes no sense. I think her basic problem in politics is not her intellect. I think her problem is most Americans, including a lot of Republicans, do not believe she is qualified to be president.”

And the only reason they ever quietly give for claiming she is not qualified is that she is from Alaska. After all, they contend, no one lives in Alaska. They think she runs a tiny little state population-wise and she’s no more qualified than a mayor somewhere. Geographically, Alaska is the largest state but that doesn’t matter to them. They say think how small the state government is up there. This reasoning is solid bullogna.

Lanny Davis, of all the freaking people to make such a stupid statement, should know better. He worked for some guy named Billy Bob Clinton, a governor for the state of Arkansas. The state budget Bill Clinton was in charge of in Arkansas…in other words the size of the “business” he ran while governing the state…is SMALLER than the budget in Alaska. He ran a smaller company than Sarah Palin did. Lanny never suggested Billy Bob Clinton wasn’t qualified! Using their own reasoning, Sarah Palin is more qualified to be President of the United States than Bill Clinton was when he ran.

While we’re at it, have somebody ask Lanny Davis if he ever heard of a guy named Howard Dean. He probably has. Dean ran the democrat party nationally after being laughed out of the Presidential race for a public display of screaming. That’s right Dean, who was governor of one of the smallest states in the country, ran for President. Lanny, old pal, did you ever claim Howard Dean wasn’t qualified to be President? No, I bet not. Hey Lanny, there are fewer people in Dean’s state of Vermont than there are in Alaska. That’s right Alaska. Alaska has more people living in it that Vermont does. Why is it your pal Howie Dean is qualified to run for president but you claim Sarah Palin is not?

Where are the reporters? Someone needs to ask Lanny Davis (and anyone else who suggests Palin is unqualified) what they base that on? Are they only basing it on Tina Fey? Or do they have something REAL to base it on? Of course they don’t. Sarah Palin is qualified to be President. She’s just not a liberal gone coastal like them and they hate her.

Hey Lanny, would you mind listing for us what made Barack Obama qualified as a rookie senator to be president? How about Hillary Clinton? She was qualified because she married Billy Bob, right? Ive me a break.
