Bush Pot Calls Obama Kettle Black
By Peter Andrew
President George W. Bush today echoed our report last week, saying that President Elect Barack Obama should not be an “economic forecaster.” ConservativeAmerican.org was again Leading the Way Right when we pointed out Obama has been using economic fears to boost his own political agenda; it’s Obamanomics. In one talk last week, the soon-to-be President offered predictions of economic doom and gloom. Reports today quote Bush as saying:
“I think he can say it’s going to be a tough period, but to predict what the economy is going to do … it is going to be bad. How bad? How long?” Bush said. “What he ought to be saying — and I know he feels this way — is he’s going to take the steps he thinks are necessary to get us back on the road to recovery and we will recover.”
Oh the irony! For President Bush, who told us all late one week that the economic sky would fall and collapse by the following Monday if he did not receive $700-Billion in bailout money, to suggest Obama avoid Leadership by Fear, is laughable. It is the Bush Pot calling the Obama Kettle black. Bush also has used leadership by fear to inspire the nation with panic in order to push his socialist economic agenda forward. These guys are two peas in a pod. When Obama is sworn in on Tuesday, we will begin the 3rd Bush term.
