Obama Grants Himself Extraordinary Powers

King Obama today granted himself extraordinary powers over private industry.

First, he gave himself the power to fire the CEO of a private company! The US government is not even a majority owner of (taxpayers own 35% of GM) of that company. We should fire congress and President Obama, not Rick Wagoner.  If I were a democrat, I would suggest that President Obama should be brought up on criminal charges.  But, I’m not, so I won’t.

Then, he granted his royal self the authority to honor all warranties issued by two private companies; General Motors and Chrysler.

Who gave the President the authority to fire GM’s CEO Rick Wagoner?  Is that in the constitution? I think not.  Did the congress give him the authority?  Nope.  He just demanded it.  He just took it.  He took the Nike slogan, “Just do it” to heart.  He just did it. Is this move illegal?

Who gave this King the authority to decide that taxpayers (that’s you and I!) will suddenly be on the hook to pay for cars when they break down or have a recall?  Doesn’t Congress decide on spending? I think it used to.  This power he has just invented is not in the constitution either.  He is taking powers away from congress and giving them to himself.  At least one democrat congressman has expressed concern about this as well. He is stealing the job of the House and Senate.

Perhaps President Obama thinks he is the Senate!

He must be thinking, “Unlimited POWER!!!!”

These are absolutely unprecedented presidential power grabs. He’s not just abusing his powers, he’s inventing them!

Within his first 100 days, the nation’s first half-black all-socialist President has done tremendous damage to our great nation and to we, the people.  If this man is allowed to continue on his reckless radical rampage of our nation, we won’t even recognize it within months.

People look back in history and wonder, “What in God’s name was the matter with those Germans that they allowed Adolf Hitler to get so powerful?”  Let’s not have them look back at our once great nation and ask the same questions of us.

Instead we must use our power to vote out every incumbent, republican or democrat, liberal or…even more liberal, who has supported this huge government power grab.  Conservative Americans would not vote for this.  We can keep people like US Senator Jim DeMint.  Most of the others must go.  We have to remember these things and remember the strength of the passion we feel today for our amazing nation when we vote in 2010.
