Is GOP Now Saying “You have to pass it, to see what’s in it?”

By Peter Andrew – ConservativeAmerican.org – Leading the way Right

You have heard talk about it the last few weeks. Some in the GOP have apparently suggested the republicans should just let ObamaCare happen so that people will see how awful it is. The theory is that those people will then elect republicans to fix it.

Ed Morrissey from HotAir.Com wrote…

“Indeed, if Republicans can’t stop ObamaCare now, they may be better off just getting out of the way of the nearly inevitable crash — a political crash, if not organizational.”

Doesn’t that approach make us just like them?

What's the difference?
What’s the difference?

Senator Jeff Sessions spoke against the Conservative American Ted Cruz plan to defund Obamacare, perhaps implying that he supported the “let it happen” plan as well…

Just a month ago, Sessions expressed deep doubts about the tactic. “I’m not sure it’s the best viable way at this point,” he said on Bill Bennett’s radio show in August.

The only plan I’m aware of other than the Cruz plan, is the Let it Happen plan. One GOP congressman even told Byron York…

“This isn’t exactly the fight I think Republicans wanted to have, certainly that the leadership wanted to have, but it’s the fight that’s here… I think the Democrats very much need the exchanges to come on and work to finally create a constituency for [Obamacare]…so I never thought they would agree on that.”

They need it to happen because they will get a constituency in favor of Obamacare?! Uhm… that doesn’t seem to be happening.
