Just when Conservative Americans had a glimmer of Ted Cruz hope, just when we thought the 2010 Tea Party congressmen were getting somewhere, the entrenched lifetime republicans once again are trying to sell us all out. First on Obamacare, now on the sequester cuts.
Republic senate majority leader Mitch McConnell is leading the sellout parade. We learned over the weekend that the GOP has already caved in on the Obamacare Nightmare. Republicans abandoned all hope of defunding or delaying Obamacare and making this Halloween a little less scary.
This permanent class of ruling elite politicians who have been in Washington D.C. for 10, 20, even 40 years has got to end. This is why ConservativeAmerican.org is in favor of term limits. We need to return to the days of citizen legislators who only serve for a few years. The powerful ruling junta of permanent socialist-democrats and permanent republicans must end. Of course congress never would approve of this. After all, what would Harry Reid do for a living? The poor guy. Time for a 28th Amendment to the Constitution.
While his Obamaness complained daily to the media that the mean old republicans were adding a different topic to the continuing resolution, now the democrats are doing it! FOX news says Team Obama will only sign a deal if republicans agree to a huge spending increase by getting rid of the sequester cuts. I thought Dictator Obama said he’d only sign a “clean” bill?!
“Negotiations appear to be centering on whether Republicans will agree to undo or change the automatic, across-the-board spending cuts to domestic and defense programs known as sequester, which the GOP sees as crucial to reducing the country’s deficit. “Americans want Congress to compromise,” Reid said at the start of the rare Sunday session in the Senate, during which he pressed for a long-term budget deal.”
Now that the GOP is ready to sell us out, Harry Reid is ready to compromise?! The Senate will meet today to continue talks. The U.S. House, not to be bothered by the default deadline this Thursday, is off until tomorrow. Why work on a Monday?
What do you think? Will the GOP sell us out again?
