Everyone knows, democrats and republicans, that letting GM go bankrupt is the proper solution to that automaker’s problems.  Bankruptcy would force them to reorganize and renegotiate all contracts, especially the ones with the union workforce. This could allow GM to survive.

However, it presents a big problem to the democrat-socialists running everything in Washington, D.C.  The labor union is no longer really about helping employees or improving working conditions.  Unions today are nothing more than divisions of the democrat-socialist party.  They confiscate union dues and use them to elect their pals and get rewards and power in return.  If the libs let GM go bankrupt, the unions who paid for their elections will not be happy.

The unions don’t want to renegotiate their contracts at GM.  They would rather see the company die.  “Oh C’Mon,” you say.  “That’s not true, then they wouldn’t have any workers to pay the union dues.”  Right, you are.  However, you assume the national union gives a flying rats rear end about its members.  Unions are only about power, “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” backroom deals, and promoting the liberal socialist agenda.

At one point in history, unions were great for America.  Now, they want to defeat America and replace it with European Socialism.  They pour millions and millions of dollars into electing democrat-socialists year after year.  The unions have bought and paid for Governors (like the advertisement they should air in Wisconsin with Sesame Street music in the background: “Governor Jim Doyle is brought to you today by the Teacher’s Union, and by the letters B & S”).  Now they helped to buy the White House for the most liberal US Senator ever.  President Obama is trying to force through as much socialist change he can believe in, as quickly as possible, before people really start catching on.  Remember 63% approval rating for this guy.  People are NOT catching on.

So, the Democrats have a problem: GM. Do they keep sending good money after bad by providing Billions of dollars each WEEK to keep GM going?  Americans will grow tired of that very quickly.  Conservative Americans were tired of it before it started!  Or do they let GM go bankrupt and risk losing their union donations?

Obama’s answer so far has been to appoint three Car Czars to oversee the mess.  And none of them drives an American car!  More hypocrisy from the most hypocritical administration in our nation’s history. UPDATE: KOA Radio reports of the total 18 members on the team, only 2 drive American cars. Obama lies almost daily and goes unchecked and unquestioned by an adoring democrat-party media.  He says one thing and does the opposite without any hesitation at all. It’s a game to him.  He has the power and must believe that Americans are stupid and he can get away with all this.  So far, is he correct? Perhaps his solution will be to nationalize GM.  He’ll create AMTRAK AUTO!

GM continues to lose billions of dollars.  GM will die without bankruptcy.  The only question is how many Billions of your tax dollars will be spent on them first.  Your tax dollars continue to support the company and its union workforce.  Your hard work each day goes, in part, to pay union workers at GM.  Does that seem fair?

Your vehicle purchases continue to support the unions which use the money to elect democrats.  That, in and of itself, may be enough to make you think about buying a foreign car.  At least then, you aren’t required to give to Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Dick Durbin and Barack Obama.
