Rahm-Rod-ing Valerie Jarrett

The Chicago Sun Times says Obama Chicago Administration Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel had direct conversations

with Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich to try to Rahm-Rod Valerie Jarrett into Obama’s former US Senate Seat.

Sun Times reporter Natasha Korecki says she found no indication Emanuel was able to broker any deal, however.  No comment from Chicago-Style Emanuel.  Obama, who is from Chicago, had his people strongly deny the story.  Korecki writes:

“But sources with knowledge of the investigation said Blagojevich told his aides about the calls with Emanuel and sometimes gave them directions afterward. Sources said that early on, Emanuel pushed for the appointment of Jarrett to the governor and his staff and asked that it be done by a certain date.”

The Sale of the Obama Senate Seat is a scandal threatening to rain on Obama’s Inaugural parade.  However, Obama continues to name Chicago people to his “Obama Chicago Administration with offices in Washington, D.C.”  This week Obama picked the man who runs the awful Chicago public school system to run the nation’s education department!
