Tax Cheat # 4 for Obama
The Obamanator seems to hang out with tax-cheaters. He’s certainly having a hard time finding some friends that actually have paid their taxes! First Tax Cheat Geithner, then Daschle and Killefer. Now there are tax problems for the family of Obama’s Labor Secretary, Hilda Solis.
Seems her husband’s auto repair business had more than $7,600 in tax liens placed on the business. Fox News reports Obamulus spokesman Robert Gibbs, the first spokesman for a socialist president, says “She’s not a partner in that business, So we’re not going to penalize her for her husband’s business mistakes. Obviously her husband has and should pay any taxes owed.”
Republicans aren’t sure they want Solis for labor secretary because she has worked for pro-union groups.
On Tuesday Barachelle went on Fox TV to admit he made a mistake in handling the Daschle Tax Cheat nomination. He said he had “learned” that you “can’t have two sets of standards.” I guess he didn’t know that before. That is an amazing statement. It’s an amazing admission of how he has always done things. Yet his two standards continue to exist. He expects you and I to pay our taxes, but it’s okay when his friends don’t. You’d think after he ate crow like that on TV he would have gone back to the office and ripped a few people a good one. Certainly he told them not to let this happen again. Two days later; the same thing.
This Obama fellow ran a smooth campaign. Now that he’s in office, things are an absolute mess. That certainly is “change.” I guess the “hope” part meant there was hope for you yet if you didn’t pay your taxes! It’s #41 on the Official Obama Administration Scandals List. I thought the dems were going to end the culture of corruption?
