Wash. Times is Watching
The Washington Times is watching Barack Obama as he tries to sneak in so much garbage in the first few days in office that no one will notice. Well Jon Ward noticed.
Despite the recession, Obama continues to create new positions in his White House adding to the staff. If a republican had done that, he’d be blasted for being insenstive to the plight of the American people in a time of recession. But, the nation’s first socialist president gets away with it.
One of those new positions he created is White House Counsel “Research Director,” supposedly a position to do legal research for the lawyers in that office. However, Ward’s piece in the Times says the one hired is a 29-year-old with no law degree and no legal experience whatsoever! So, how did Shauna Daly get the job? Seems she is what the Times calls a “Partisan Dirt Digger.” From Ward:
“Though she is inside one of the most powerful legal offices in the land, Miss Daly holds no law degree and doesn’t list any legal training on her resume. Her sole experience has been as an opposition researcher for Democratic political campaigns: She helped dig up dirt on rivals, or on her own nominee to prepare for attacks. The addition to White House counsel Greg Craig’s staff has alarmed some Republicans, who consider it a politicization of the office, and has irritated others who say that Democratic lawmakers who railed against Republican opposition researchers in legal positions in the past are now silent.”
It’s the 8th Appointee Scandal for Obama and #42 on the Official Obama Administration Scandals List.
Obama intends to spend tax dollars to ensure his own continued political power. As he continus his blatant in-your-face “I won” power grabs, FOX news reports he also has moved the oversight of the next Census from the Commerce Department to a political appointee, Rahm Emanuel. That way Emanuel can make sure all redistricting based on the census helps democrats to gain seats in congress. This President doesn’t even care that we all know what he is up to. He reminds us, “I won. “
