Obama’s Iraq – ‘Mission Accomplished’ (or Not)

Obama’s Iraq

President Obama was so proud of himself telling America the Iraq war was over, the mission was accomplished and he was bringing the troops home… well, most of the troops anyway, not all of them as he promised. Now he’s sending them back, a move which equals an admission that he was wrong.

This decision goes against every golfing bone in his body. His victim-mentality foreign policy says he should side with those HE views as the victims, and that would certainly not be Christians on a mountain in fear of their lives. The victims in his eyes are the Islamists who have been mistreated and misunderstood for decades.

So what gives? Why is he now changing course? Who on his administration stood up to his insanity? What changed? President Obama has approved airstrikes which HotAir reports are underway now. Along with bombing ISIS targets, airdrops to stranded Yazidis are taking place.

Couric-BS News quotes Mr. Obama‘s statement late last night, crafted to try to explain his flip-flop… ‘the president said he’s okayed “targeted airstrikes to protect our American personnel and a humanitarian effort to help save thousands of Iraqi civilians who are trapped on a mountain without food and water and facing almost certain death.” He even violated his own policy and called those in ISIS “terrorists!”

For months, President Obama has done absolutely nothing. The real question is why now?
