Leading the way Right
What an honor today! ConservativeAmerican.org is lumped in with Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity in a story entitled, “Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity Channel Saul Alinsky: So What?” The Melinda Henneberger story at Politics Daily has some new visitors checking us out today. Love what we say or despise what we say, we welcome you!
Your thoughts and your comments are always welcome and appreciated on any of our posts! One point for our Politics Daily viewers: The Official Obama Administration Scandals List is in chronological order. The number next to the scandal is not any type of ranking as noted in the article. Not a big deal, just wanted you to know.
Politics Daily tells us Henneberger is “the editor-in-chief of PoliticsDaily.com. She spent 10 years as a reporter for the New York Times, in the paper’s Washington and Rome bureaus, and found covering the Vatican a lot like covering Congress, the former having practically invented politics. She is the author of If They Only Listened to Us: What Women Voters Want Politicians to Hear (2007, Simon & Schuster) based on interviews with women in 20 states after the 2004 presidential election. She also writes a regular column for the Catholic opinion journal Commonweal, and speaks on college campuses as part of the Commonweal Speaker series.”
Henneberger also brags on her site about her attempt to help the democrat party as a reporter: “While covering her first political convention, in Atlanta in 1988, she found herself locked out of the convention hall – the fire marshal having closed all entrances – along with just one other woman, who laughed and laughed as she hopped around in that pre-cell phone world, trying to alert DNC officials to the fact that Rosa Parks is out here, people!”
Here is just a portion of what Henneberger noted in her article (links below are ours)…
“Even before (Sarah) Palin mocked Obama’s days as an organizer in her Republican National Convention speech last summer, conservatives saw his tutelage in the rabble-rousing methods pioneered by Alinksy, who died when Obama was 11, as damning and therefore delightful: Of the – count em! — 511 “official Obama administration scandals” listed on ConservativeAmerican.org, one of top-rated outrages – Scandal #10, right ahead of Obama’s connection to the Rev. Jeremiah Wright — is “Obama Saul Alinsky Training Scandal.”
The “scandal” in question is so measly it did make me wonder about the lesser-ranked violations — # 510 is “Little Girl at Obama Town Hall comes from family of Obama Supporters!” – but as laid out in a January ‘08 piece in American Thinker, the charge involving Alinsky is that “it must bother [Hillary Clinton] that Obama also appears to have mastered the playbook used by her own political teacher, the legendary amoral guru of left wing activism, Saul Alinksy. Hillary has met not only her match in Alinsky tactics, she has met the master of bloodless socialist revolution.” As a young organizer, the piece goes on to explain, Obama must have “learned how to ‘rub raw the sores of discontent,’ in Alinsky’s words…The agitator’s job, according to Alinsky, is first to bring folks to the ‘realization’ that they are indeed miserable, that their misery is the fault of unresponsive governments or greedy corporations, then help them to bond together to demand what they deserve, and to make such an almighty stink that the dastardly governments and corporations will see imminent ’self-interest’ in granting whatever it is that will cause the harassment to cease.”
See the note about the “top-rated outrages” above. We disagree (obviously) with Henneberger that this item is “so measly.” The item helps our audience to understand Barack Obama. It explains how he operates, what he believes, and who he is. He is a leftist radical following the leftist radical playbook. We tried to convince people not to vote for him and we failed miserably because they simply chose not to believe the truth about this man, as outlined in our Scandals List.
