This one really steams me. Americans have elected a man who pays no regard to the US Constitution.
Most reporters have given up their duty to give both sides to a story and tell the truth about the huge power grabs Obama is pulling off and how far off the left deep end he and his tax-cheating pals are taking this nation. Other than Fox news and a few others, they love him blindly. As newspapers around the country go bankrupt, maybe unemployed reporters will start to question their loyalty to democrat-socialists and trade unions.
We’re now to the point where a radical, extremist, militant feminists who believe pregnancy is “disturbingly suggestive” of slavery (!!!) is getting a top job at the “Justice” department. This woman has no idea what justice is.
She is Dawn Johnsen. She’s not just a pro-abortion supporter. She is a radical. She is an extremist. She is a militant feminist. She is the “pro-choice” side’s equivalent to an abortion facility bomber. Just as those people are nuts and way too far off the deep end, Johnsen cannot be permitted to serve in such a position of authority. Her beliefs are so far off the beating path, she should be shamed into withdrawing her nomination. President Obama has once again demonstrated what a lousy job he does in picking friends.
As blind democrats give him praise for not being President Bush, no one is paying attention to what this nut-job socialist is DOING!!! I’m hot under the collar on this one. It is officially the…
Obama Appointment Scandal #33 – Dawn Johnsen - his nominee to head the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel once compared “pregnancy” with slavery. Stephen Clark at Fox News reports: When Johnsen was a lawyer for the National Abortion ‘Rights’ Action League, she cited a footnote that said forcing women to bear children was “disturbingly suggestive of involuntary servitude, prohibited by the 13th Amendment, in that forced pregnancy requires a woman to provide continuous physical service to the fetus in order to further the state’s asserted interest.” Wimpy republicans might (don’t hold your breath) actually try to fight this confirmation. Johnsen said she merely suggested “an analogy” (!!!) in the footnote and “never believed the 13th Amendment had any role” in the abortion issue! Solid bull from a solid liberbull.
45 House Republicans signed a letter to Obama asking him to withdraw Johnsen’s nomination because of her “brazen” abortion rights stance. But NARAL wants her confirmed, along with two other abortion extremists; another judge and Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius. Fox News reports:
“NARAL president Nancy Keenan said in a press release. “Our activists will make it clear to their senators that derailing nominees for critical positions in the Obama administration and in the federal court simply because they have taken pro-choice positions is not an option.”
How funny is that? To the pro-abortion militants “derailing nominess for critical positions” in the federal court system when Bush was President was perfectly acceptable precisely because of their position on the right to life spelled out clearly in the Declaration of Independence. Now that we have the nation’s first socialist President, who works daily to dismantle the constitution and grant himself extraordinary powers, NARAL thinks it’s all of the sudden wrong to block nominees. Another amazing lefty flip-flop. The militant Keenan continued with Fox:
“We will keep up the pressure until we go three for three and see these distinguished nominees confirmed by the Senate.”
People with such radical, extremist, pro-abortion views as Ms. Johnsen who thinks having a baby is forced slavery, should be prohibited from serving on any court. They fail to live up to their promise to defend our Constitution which guarantees a RIGHT TO LIFE. Who are these monsters? Fox says:
“Ryan Patmintra, a spokesman for Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., a member of the Judiciary Committee, told FOXNews.com that Specter’s vote will determine whether Johnsen gets confirmed because of his ranking status on the Judiciary Committee. His moderate position also gives him considerable influence in the Senate where Democrats hold a 58-41 majority and need at least two Republicans to cross the aisle to block filibusters. Specter’s office did not respond to a request for an interview. But a Senate aide to the Judiciary Committee told FOXNews.com that there’s no way Specter will vote for Johnsen’s nomination because it could damage his prospects in what is shaping up to be a tough primary next year against conservative Pat Toomey, a former congressman and current president of the Club for Growth.”
Even if Specter maintains a small fear of God and somehow prevents this nomination, he should be voted out as soon as possible. He has shown his true DRINO (democrat or republican…no matter…in name only) nature and we don’t need him around.
Specter can retire with John McCain together at a dinosaur museum in Arizona with the other aging relics of failure
