Did you see the Sean Hannity show last night? Six of his “The President’s Top Ten” list had previously been listed on our “Obama’s Most Unwanted List!” Allow us to bask a moment. Great minds think alike (He could have mentioned us…rats). Okay, done with that.
Hannity included these ten: John Holdren, Cass Sunstein, Samantha Power, Harold Koh, David Hamilton, Dawn Johnsen, Kevin Jennings, Mark Lloyd, Rosa Brooks and Carol Browner.
We never even heard of Kevin Jennings until the Hannity show! He has been added now as Appointment Scandal # 73 on the Official Obama Administration Scandals List! Hard to keep up with all these people! (UPDATE 75 Now!)
Both lists featured these six people: Carol Socialist Browner, Rosa Bailout the Press Brooks, Dawn Abortion is Slavery Johnsen, Harold Sharia Law Koh, Cass Animals can go to Court Sunstein and John Sterilize kids at Puberty Holdren.

Promotions airing on the Fox News Channel today are promoting “Obama’s Top 10″ tonight on a “special” edition of the Sean Hannity Show. Leading the way Right, we posted a strikingly similar piece on September 8th, entitled “Obama’s Most Unwanted List.”

We said the ousted Van Jones was just the tip of the iceberg and featured the “Top 9″ others (Ten in all) that need to be shown “the Van Jones door.” So who will Hannity Feature?
Like our list, Hannity will feature Cass Sunstein. This guy is worse than Van Jones and should be booted promptly from the Obama Administration. Our list and Hannity’s list both also feature Dawn Johnsen, John Holdren, and Harold Koh. It looks like (hard to tell from Hannity’s small promotional photographs) his list may also feature Rosa Brooks and Carol Browner, as we did. It sure seems a great deal like our list! Nice to copied by a “Great American,” a great Conservative American, like Sean Hannity! Maybe Hannity will mention us tonight?? Regardless, it’s very cool when one of the “big guys” follows our lead!
Being on the radio, Hannity also will feature Mark Lloyd, the nutty radio Czar. Our post listed all 74 (as of this writing) Obama appointment scandals and ranked each person on the Obama Nut Job Scale! Lloyd scored a 4 out of 5 on the Nut Job Scale, so he didn’t make our top list. But he’s close!

Obama & Holder Break “Don’t Look Back” Promise with CIA Investigation 8/31/9 Right Wing Sparkle: “Once again Obama has lied to us when in April he said he wanted to look forward and not backwards and wouldn’t prosecute CIA interrogators involved in interrogations after 9-11. Attorney General Eric Holder also lied. (Obama:) “Nothing will be gained by spending our time and energy laying blame for the past,” the president added. “For those who carried out some of these operations within the four corners of legal opinions or guidance that had been provided from the White House, I do not think it’s appropriate for them to be prosecuted.” At the time, Holder added: “It would be unfair to prosecute dedicated men and women working to protect America for conduct that was sanctioned in advance by the Justice Department.”
Holder’s Latest Gitmo Flip Flop 9/1/9 – Fox & Friends points out that in 2002 Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, said terrorists held in Guantanamo Bay were not entitled to be treated in accord with the Geneva Convention. Then, last year, Holder said he can’t believe he lives in a country (or as he says, a “nation of cowards”) where the terrorists are not treated in line with the Geneva rules. Glenn Beck’s take? This “game” (our word not his) of prosecuting the Bush CIA Team is all Politics.
Team Obama War on Terror Lingo Flip Flop 9/1/9 – Remember how Team Obama decided it was better to call the terrorists’ war on us an “overseas contigency operation?” The memo went out and the feds no longer call it a “War on Terror.” That was Bush’s thing. White House Spinmeister Robert Brothers Gibbs either screwed up or the White House has flip flopped on its lingo memo! From Fox News: “You can’t under-resource the most important part of our War on Terror, you can’t under-resource that for five or six or seven years — whether it’s under-resourced with troops, whether it’s under-resourced with civilian manpower, whether it’s under-resourced with economic development funding — and hope to snap your fingers and have that turn around in just a few months,” Gibbs said during the daily briefing to reporters. Asked Tuesday whether the use of the phrase was (used) intentionally, Gibbs answered, “We’re focused on getting the strategy right.” …counterterrorism adviser, John Brennan, went beyond that early last month telling reporters that “describing our efforts as a ‘global war’ only plays into the warped narrative that al Qaeda propagates.” UPDATE 1/7/10: The ultra liberal Daily Kos website says we’re wrong about this and that Obama says War on Terror all the time.
Obama’s School Indoctrination Plan – The Fascist Obama Youth Society! 9/2/9 – Obama wants to speak to school kids. No problem. But his White House aides “help” the Education department write lessons where kids are required or encouraged to tell how Obama inspired them, to list ways they can help Obama, and read books about Obama. He’s trying to brainwash your kids into coming home as little Obama Socialists! UPDATE 9/3/9: The Washington Times reports White House staffers admit the plan did not come off very wello and they are “rethinking” and “rewriting” the lesson plans over at the Department of Indoctrination. UPDATE 9/5/9:Weekly Blitz says perhaps Obama could teach people something. Szandor Blestman writes, “One could point out his already broken promises. There are still troops in Iraq. Warfare carried out by American soldiers in other areas has been escalated. Torture of “enemy combatants” continues. No law of the Bush administration, however unconstitutional they may be, has been repealed. A vitriolic and divisive debate on health care reform has been launched to cover up these inadequacies in his policies and keep the support of his left flank from collapsing. In short, there was no change delivered, there will be no change delivered, except for maybe toward a more authoritarian, collectivist model of government, and the hope that we once had for this great nation, the hope of individual freedom and self determination for all mankind, is dwindling with each and every big government program that he tries to force down our throats. It should be explained to these children and maybe some adults that this type of dishonest behavior shouldn’t be tolerated. It isn’t tolerated in the private sector and it shouldn’t be tolerated in the public sector either. It can be explained to the kids that perhaps most people are more than fed up and frustrated by the antics of almost all of our federal government officials, regardless of party, and that perhaps this is why we’ve seen such outbreaks of anger expressed at the recent town hall meetings. UPDATE 9/8/9: Obama gives his pep talk today. Nothing wrong with the talk. It was the fascist lesson plans that went with it that upset us. Fox News reports dems can’t cry foul on this one: “when President George H.W. Bush delivered a similar speech in…1991 to students at a junior high school…Democratic critics went much further and investigated the event, Washington Examiner columnist Byron York reported Tuesday. Democrats, who controlled Congress at the time, ordered the General Accounting Office to probe the production of the speech and later summoned top Bush administration officials to Capitol Hill for a hearing…Rep. William Ford, then chairman of the House Education and Labor Committee,…ordered the probe. “…I am very much interested in the justification, rationale for giving the White House scarce education funds to produce a media event.”

Obama’s Lie to the Joint Session of Congress! 9/3/9 – He hasn’t even given the talk yet, and already Team Obama is announcing the President will lie to the nation! As Fox News reports, “White House aides say the president will not be very specific about details of a health care reform policy, but he will deliver the message that Democrats are willing to go it alone if they can’t get Republican support. ” — ConservativeAmerican.org: What a bunch of bull! “Willing to go it alone?!” They have never needed, nor sought, any republican input or support. Remember Obama saying, “It’s not going to happen like that. I won.” That’s how he feels about Republican support. This has never been about republican support and it is a lie to suggest otherwise.Obama can’t get his own democrats to vote for this stupidity. Fact: Republicans are powerless to do anything about socialist, government-run health care. The democrats run everything. If they want it, all they have to do is stand up and be counted….then face the voters. It’s the last part that scares them.
Obama Friend & Communist Green Jobs Czar Believes 9/11 was an Inside Job! 9/3/9 – Fox News: “Jones joined the“9/11 truther” movement by signing a statement in 2004 calling for then-New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer and others to launch an investigation into evidence that suggests “people within the current administration may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext for war.” The statement asked a series of critical questions hinting at Bush administration involvement in the attacks and called for “deeper inquiry.” It was also signed by former Rep. Cynthia McKinney and Code Pink co-founder Jodie Evans.” –ConservativeAmerican.org asks: How long until Van Jones resigns/gets fired? His is only one of 60+ (so far) Obama appointment scandals on this list!UPDATE 9/5/9:From Jake Tapper at ABC comes this update necessary to be fair (yes, even to someone like Van Jones)…”It’s worth pointing out that Ben Smith at Politico has spoken to two signatories of that petition, Rabbi Michael Lerner and historian Howard Zinn, who say they were misled about what they were signing. And the conservative website Little Green Footballs points out that Rachel Ehrenfeld, author of “Funding Evil; How Terrorism is Financed and How to Stop It” has posted on her website, the American Center for Democracy: “PLEASE NOTE: Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld is not a signatory of the 911Truth.org. She has asked several times to have her named removed from the list, but the organization failed to comply.” –UPDATE 9/5/9: Hold your horses! Right Wing News says Van Jones was part of a March in San Francisco to demand the investigation into 9/11 being an inside job!
Obama’s Political Organization Calls those against Obamacare “Right Wing Domestic Terrorists!!” 9/3/9 – The Fox & Friends morning show reported today that Obama’s political group, “Organizing for America” had information about the 9/11 memorial indicating that it was a day to remember the 3,000 Americans killed by terrorists and to renew the fight against “Right Wing Domestic Terrorists” fighting the Obama Agenda!!! These guys are far, far beyond “beyond belief!” They want the CIA in jail, those who oppose are called terrorists, but they give a free plane ride back home to an Afghan Terrorist who attacked U.S. Soldiers and simply set him free!! (See scandal dated 8/25/9) Scandal doesn’t seem like a big enough word.
VP Biden Declares Obama’s Deficit Stimulus Plan a Success Despite Not Delivering Needed Boost in Jobs 9/3/9 – The Associated Democrat Press: “Biden proclaimed success beyond expectations Thursday for the $787 billion economic stimulus, but his glowing assessment overlooks many of the program’s problems, including delays in releasing money, questionable spending priorities and project picks that are under investigation…The administration has struggled to make the case that the huge spending program has delivered real economic recovery at a time when the nation’s unemployment rate threatens to top 10 percent…(Biden) proudly pointed to more than 2,200 highway projects Thursday funded by the program, but didn’t mention the growing frustration among contractors that infrastructure money is only trickling out and thus far hasn’t delivered the needed boost in jobs
Obama Stimulus Screws Up Grants to Airports! 9/3/9 – From the AP: “Biden noted 192 airports targeted for improvements with stimulus money, but made no reference to the investigation launched after a federal watchdog raised concerns about how the projects were selected…the Obama administration used stimulus money to pay for 50 airport projects that didn’t meet the grant criteria and approved projects at four airports with a history of mismanaging federal grants!”
Obama-Biden Waste Millions of Dollars on Military Construction Projects! 9/3/9 – From the AP: “Biden praised the more than 2,400 military construction projects paid for with stimulus money, but ignored the millions of dollars in savings the Defense Department lost because it hasn’t competitively bid many of the jobs. The Defense Department frequently awards no-bid work to small contractors for repairs at military bases under the stimulus, costing taxpayers millions of dollars more than when businesses compete for the work, an Associated Press analysis of 570 such contracts found.” UPDATE 1/18/10: Even the Democrats notice Obama’s no-bid lie.

Obama-Biden Waste Stimulus Money to Repair Bridges that Don’t Need Repairing!!! 9/3/9 – From the AP: “Biden noted that transportation money was replacing unsafe bridges. “It is worthwhile to take some of those 5,000 bridges out there that are ready to collapse, follow what happened in the upper Midwest, and fix them,” he said. But most states are spending stimulus money on bridges that are already in good shape, another AP analysis found. Of the 2,476 bridges scheduled to receive stimulus money so far, nearly half have passed inspections with high marks, according to federal data. Those 1,123 sound bridges received such high inspection ratings that they normally would not qualify for federal bridge money, yet they will share in more than $1.2 billion in stimulus money, the AP analysis published in July found.
Obama & His Broken Promises to Suddenly “Get Tough” 9/4/9 – Rick Klein at ABCDEmocrat News’ “The Note”: “Team Obama has always been a bit better about telegraphing the strategic shifts than in following through — or in following a new course once it’s publicly selected. How many interviews did Axelrod or Obama himself give in 2008 to send the message that the campaign was about to get tougher? And what happened to attacking insurance companies, or making the moral case for health reform, or focusing on consumer protections?” — So will he “get tough” this time when he addresses congress?
Obama’s Abu Ghraib is in Kabul, Afghanistan 9/4/9 – Remember all the heat President Bush took for the Abu Ghraib prison scandal wehre U.S. soliders were caught behaving badly? The story was full of physical, psychological and sexual abuse. Now, President Obama has his own scandal involving the behavior of U.S. soldiers caught behaving badly! This time in Kabul. Fox News: “Defense Secretary Robert Gates responded…to a controversy at the U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan by saying the alleged lewd hazing and sexual horseplay among guards at the embassy is “offensive” and “inexcusable.”…a watchdog’s report…was accompanied by graphic photos of nude, homoerotic parties staged just miles from the U.S. diplomatic mission. According to the report, the “deviant hazing and humiliation” had led to a breakdown in the chain of command and compromised security…One photo released by the group showed mostly naked men dancing around a campfire; another showed one man eating food out of another’s buttocks; and another photo showed a naked man peeing in front of others. Alcohol is prevalent in most of the pictures. According to the report, and the personal accounts it included, the behavior was not consensual.POGO said that guards claim the supervisors are hazing and pressuring other guards to participate, creating a “climate of fear and coercion.” Those who do not participate are ridiculed, demoted or even fired.” –ConservativeAmerican.org asks Will Obama be blasted daily in the press the same way Bush was? Will he even have to issue a comment? Don’t count on it.
Obama’s Broken Promise on Hardship withdrawals from IRA’s 9/5/9 – The St. Petersburg Times’ “Obameter” says this promise has been broken: “We’ve tracked this promise on penalty-free 401(k) withdrawals since President Barack Obama took office. It seems like it’s time (4/10/09) to stick a fork in it and declare it done. The measure, which Obama proposed during the fall of 2008 as the economy was swooning, would have allowed workers to take money from their 401(k) retirement accounts before retirement, but without the usual penalty of 10 percent on top of regular taxes. The idea was to help cash-strapped workers get through hard times without having to absorb penalties for their bad fortune.” — ConservativeAmerican.org notes: The Obameter has tons of catching up to do, listing only a handful of broken promises.
Obama’s So-Called “Tough” Ethical Standards get Waived Over and Over and Over! — Appointment Scandal # 65 9/7/9 – Remember when President Obama promised “the strongest ethics standards in U.S. government history?” Jake Tapper at ABC News reports the Obama Administration simply issues waivers to get around the rules! He notes 10 waivers announced this labor day weekend when no one is watching! From Tapper: “Waivers…allow the officials to participate with persons with whom, and entities with which, “the appointees formerly had a professional relationship,” Eisen wrote, “because there was a compelling public interest in allowing it.” — ConservativeAmerican.org notes: Gosh, there never could have been a “compelling public interest” with other presidents before, Riiiiiiiiiiiight? Gee, Obama is so much better than all of them. *Gag*. Tapper Again: Waiver # 1: NASA administrator Charles Bolden; Bolden served as a consultant to the science, engineering, and technology corporation SAIC, which has billions in government contracts, and on the board of directors of aerospace and defense giant GenCorp. The President’s ethics rules would otherwise prohibit Bolden from participaring in any matter in which SAIC or GenCorp was a party in any way. That was waived because Bolden’s “knowledge of and expertise in current NASA programs are essential to making informed and timely decision-making.” — ConservativeAmerican.org comments: This wouldn’t even be a Scandal if Obama had not promised to be soooooooo different and changey and have all of these promised tough ethical standards. The guy is a fraud and a fake.

Obama Appointment Scandal # 66, Lobbyist Scandal #8 – Naomi Walker 9/7/9 – Jake Tapper at ABC News reports another Ethics Rules Waiver went to: “Associate Deputy Secretary of Labor Naomi Walker; Walker was Director of State Government Affairs for the AFL-CIO but has been permitted to communicate with that organization because, the Obama administration decided, prohibiting her from doing so would be detrimental to the Department of Labor and the AFL-CIO’s 11 million members. She is still prohibited for the next two years to participate in any matter having to do with regulations or contracts involving the AFL-CIO.” — ConservativeAmerican.org’s take: OMG! Another gift to his lefty socialist-democrat union pals!! There have been Seven other lobbyists appointed too! These include Leon Panetta (Scandal dated 1/5/9), Bill Lynn (Scandal 1/22/9), William Corr (Scandal 1/22/9), Mark Patterson (Scandal 1/26/9), Jocelyn Frye (3/10/9), Cecilia Munoz (3/10/9), and Richard Verna (3/20/9).
Obama Appointment Scandal # 67 – Ash Carter 9/7/9 – Tapper’s other reported Ethics Rules Waivers went to: “Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Ash Carter; Carter was a consultant for defense giant Textron, Inc. focusing on strategy and mergers and acquisitions, trends in military technology and strategy, and how and where military platforms and weapon systems could be deployed effectively. Carter also provided advice on the Sensor Fuzed Weapon, a cluster bomb used by the U.S. Air Force…in the view of the Obama administration, “national security challenges require your expertise and judgment in making sound acquisition decisions on major defense programs, several of which involve Textron or one of its subsidiaries.” — Remember the no Lobbyists Promise??!!
Obama Appointment Scandal # 68 – Lanny Breuer, Bizarre Conflict of Interest Okay with Team Obama! 9/7/9 – “Attorney General Eric Holder and Assistant Attorney General Lanny Breuer previously worked for the law firm Covington & Burling…(Both) are permitted to cooperate and participate in the investigation into possible prosecutorial misconduct in the case of U.S. v Theodore Stevens even though government lawyers whose conduct is in question are represented by both law firms.” David “Playboy” Ogden also is involved in this Scandal. Obama Appointment Scandal # 69 – Philip Reitinger 9/7/9 – “Deputy Under Secretary for National Protection and Programs Directorate and Director of the National Cybersecurity Center in the Department of Homeland Security Philip Reitinger; Reitinger worked for Microsoft Corportation as Chief Trustworthy Infrastructure Strategy from 2003 until March 2009. Because of his “unique expertise, industry perspective and responsibilities for cyber programs,” he is permitted to deal with Microsoft;
Obama Appointment Scandal # 70 – Margot Rogers 9/7/9 “Senior Counselor to the Secretary of Education Margot Rogers…worked for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which works on education issues. (She is) allowed to have communications with that charitable foundation;”
Obama Appointment Scandal # 71 – James Shelton 9/7/9 “Department of Education Assistant Deputy Secretary for Innovation and Improvement James Shelton…worked for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which works on education issues. (He is) allowed to have communications with that charitable foundation;”
Obama Appointment Scandal # 72 – Aaron Williams 9/7/9 “Peace Corps director Aaron Williams; Williams served on the board of directors of the National Peace Corps Association, and is now prohibited from participating in any matter involving specific parties that is directly and substantially related to NPCA.”
Obama Appointment Scandal # 73 – Valerie Jarrett 9/7/9 Tapper also reports on others who received rules waivers. They include: “Senior Advisor to the President Valerie Jarrett, the former Vice Chair of the non-profit entity “Chicago 2016,” who is leading the White House’s efforts to bring the 2016 Olympics to Chicago;”– See related Valerie Jarrett Scandal dated 12/18/2008. UPDATE 10/1/9: Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton says Jarrett is “not only a slumlord from Chicago but she also funded other slumlords. She served — and we sent our investigators out to Chicago to get the documents — she served on the boards of several organizations that provided funding and support for Tony Rezko and Allison Davis. Allison Davis was the former boss of Obama.”
Obama Appointment Scandal # 74 – Jonathan Kravis 9/7/9 Obama also needed to get around his own rules by issuing an Ethics Waiver went to “Associate White House Counsel Jonathan Kravis, former employee of Williams & Connolly LLP, which represented the office of former President George W. Bush.” And…

Obama Lies to Congress # 1 – Promises to give Americans the “Same Opportunity” as Congress! 9/9/9 – President Obama has no problem speaking lies. You can see a list of his repeated lies from his address to congress by clicking here. He also told some new ones. He told congress that it’s about time Washington gives Americans “the SAME OPPORTUNITY we give ourselves!” This line also got applause. Odd. Democrats have defeated any measure that would require congress to take part in the public option. So if we get the SAME OPPORTUNITY, can we skip out on the public option too? What if our employer goes to this plan? Then we have no choice. That’s not exactly the SAME OPPORTUNITY, is it?

He does not have the power to keep that promise. Companies will opt out of their skyrocketing insurance costs and will instead put their employees on the government-run socialist plan. Nearly three out of four Milwaukee-area companies could lower their health care costs by 20 percent or more if they scrapped their current plan and paid the 8 percent payroll penalty proposed by Congress, according to the new 2010 Greater Milwaukee Health Care Benefit Survey. Seventy-three percent of employers who responded to the HCTrends.com survey reported that health care benefits represented at least 10 percent of their total payroll costs. Electing to pay the 8 percent penalty instead would reduce their health care costs by 20 percent. Obama Lies to Congress # 7 -Public Option is not a Government Takeover! 9/9/9 – Obama tells congress his Obamacare Public Option is not a government takeover of healthcare. Shikha Dalmia of Forbes has done a great jobexplaining these big healthcare lies. “Obama has repeatedly claimed that forcing private plans to compete with a public plan will simply “keep them honest” and give patients more options–not lead to a full-blown, Canadian-style, single-payer monopoly. As I argued in my previous column, this is wishful thinking given that government programs such as Medicare have a history of controlling costs by underpaying providers, who make up the losses by charging private plans more. Any public plan modeled after Medicare will greatly increase this forced subsidy, eventually driving private plans out of business, even if that weren’t Obama’s intention. But, as it turns out, it very much is his intention. Before he decided to run for office–and even during the initial days of his campaign–Obama repeatedly said that he was in favor of a single-payer system. What’s more, University of California, Berkeley Professor Jacob Hacker, who is a key influence on the Obama administration, is on tape explicitly boasting that a public plan is a means for creating a single-payer system. “It’s not a Trojan horse,” he quips, “it’s just right there.”
Obama Lies to Congress # 8 -Obama Lied About Insurance Case! 9/9/9 Sweetness & Light: “One man from Illinois lost his coverage in the middle of chemotherapy because his insurer found that he hadn’t reported gallstones that he didn’t even know about. They delayed his treatment, and he died because of it.” This is the sad story of Mr. Otto Raddatz, a case that Mr. Obama has cited several times before, including in his August 16th editorial in the New York Times. For the record, however, the case is not exactly the way Mr. Obama has characterized it, at least according to the sworn testimony of Mr. Raddatz’s sister…Mr. Raddatz’s lawyer sister contacted the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. They investigated and found that the doctor who did the CT scans could not remember whether he had ever told Mr. Raddatz about his findings. Consequently, the insurance company overturned their original decision to rescind her brother’s coverage, and he was reinstated in the words of his sister, “without [any] lapse.” — ConservativeAmerican.org notes: Remember when Obama said others were not telling the truth about health care? He even accused Sarah Palin of lying. He should look in the mirror once in a while.

Brent Bozell notes, “”Barack Obama will not stop committing serial dishonesty with the American people until the media expose his false figures and bogus exaggerations for what they are: fraudulent scare tactics. “Last night Obama told a litany of lies. He said the total cost of his health reform would be $900 billion over ten years, but even the government-run Congressional Budget Office found it would cost $1.6 trillion.”
Obama Lies to Congress # 10 -Obama says he’s not trying to build “An Entirely New System from Scratch!” 9/9/9 Real Clear Politics adds this lie to the list: “I believe it makes more sense to build on what works and fix what doesn’t, rather than try to build an entirely new system from scratch. And that is precisely what those of you in Congress have tried to do over the past several months. Does it take a thousand pages of legislation to not “disrupt one-sixth of our economy”? The reality is that the proposals he advocates would create a vast new bureaucracy from scratch, with sweeping powers to regulate private health-insurance plans-eventually including employer-provided plans-and forcing individual health-insurance plans to be offered on a government-controlled “exchange.” It is a plan for the comprehensive restructuring of the health-insurance industry-but Obama wants you to think that he’s not really doing anything. Which makes you realize that he doesn’t want to you notice or think too hard about what he is doing.”
Obama Lies to Congress # 11 -Obama Claims ObamaCare Nightmare is Bipartisan! 9/9/9 Real Clear Politics catches this distortion of the truth: “This is another attempt to deflect scrutiny by claiming that everything he is proposing is safe, bland, anodyne. Thus, his plan “incorporates ideas from many of the people in this room tonight-Democrats and Republicans.” Which explains why Obama has so few Republican votes that his allies in Congress are now talking about ramming the bill through, in a dubious parliamentary maneuver, on Democratic votes alone.”
Obama Lies to Congress # 12 – Claims He’s Always been for Health Choices!! 9/9/9 Real Clear Politics: “Here’s a tip: when Barack Obama says, “So let me set the record straight,” he is about to lie to you about his past. Thus, in rebutting the claim that he wants a “government takeover” of medicine, he assures us that “My guiding principle is, and always has been, that consumers do better when there is choice and competition.” So how is it that he was recorded only six years ago describing himself as an advocate of a Canadian style “single payer” system-the very opposite of “choice and competition”?” — And, if he really wants choices...let people buy insurance accross state lines!
Obama Lies to Congress # 13- About Buying Insurance on Your own 9/9/9 National Review Online did its own fact-checking on the Obama address to congress and they added a few to our list on 9/28/9. OBAMA: “Buying insurance on your own costs you three times as much as the coverage you get from your employer.” The Congressional Budget Office writes, “Premiums for policies purchased in the individual insurance market are, on average, much lower — about one-third lower for single coverage and one-half lower for family policies.” It is true that individual insurance policies are generally 30 percent less comprehensive than employer-provided insurance, and comparable individual policies are about twice as expensive. But much of the extra cost is a function of the tax penalty on purchasing such insurance and the stunted market that penalty has yielded.”
Obama Lies to Congress # 14- About Americans Losing Insurance Coverage 9/9/9 National Review Online add another to the “Joe Wilson ‘You Lie!’ List!” – OBAMA: “And every day, 14,000 Americans lose their coverage.” The paper that generated this estimate assumed that two months of severe job losses would continue forever. Applying that paper’s methodology to a broader period of rising unemployment (January 2008 through August 2009) produces a figure below 9,000.”
Obama Lies to Congress # 15 – About Why Employees Have to Pay More of their Insurance Costs 9/9/9 National Review Online: OBAMA: “Rising costs are “why so many employers . . . are forcing their employees to pay more for insurance.” Perhaps no other issue generates as much of a consensus among health-care economists as this one: The “employer’s share” of employees’ health-care costs comes out of those employees’ wages, not out of profits. In this comment and in five others in his speech, Obama contradicts that basic truth. Employers aren’t forcing their employees to pick up a larger share of the bill because they can’t. Workers are already paying the entire bill.”
Obama Lies to Congress # 16 – Saying U.S. Business can’t compete globally because of Rising Health Insurance Costs 9/9/9 National Review Online reports even Obama appointees Peter Orszag and Christina Romer think this statement is bogus!!! OBAMA: “Rising costs are “why American business that compete internationally . . . are at a huge disadvantage.” False. The rising cost of health benefits does not increase employers’ labor costs because, again, wages adjust downward to compensate. The Congressional Budget Office, under the leadership of Obama’s OMB director, Peter Orszag, confirmed that health-care costs do not hinder competitiveness. Obama economic aide Christina Romer has called this competitiveness argument “schlocky.”
Obama Lies to Congress # 17- The Hidden Growing Tax Lie 9/9/9 National Review Online OBAMA: “Those of us with health insurance are also paying a hidden and growing tax for those without it — about $1,000 per year that pays for somebody else’s emergency room and charitable care.” That number comes from a left-wing advocacy group. A Kaiser Family Foundation study debunked the group’s analysis, reaching an estimate closer to $200 per year for a family. The CBO report mentioned above reached the same conclusion.”
Obama Lies to Congress # 18 – About Special Interests Fighting the ObamaCare Nightmare 9/9/9 National Review Online: OBAMA: “I won’t stand by while the special interests use the same old tactics to keep things exactly the way they are.” Who are these special interests? In case Obama hadn’t noticed, everyone from the drug-makers to the unions to the insurance companies he demonizes are spending millions to build momentum for his version of reform — in no small part because Obama has promised to buy them off with middle-class tax dollars. Obama Steals The Census 2/12/9 -As Obama tries to test the waters to see how much power he can steal in violation of the US Constitution, his trial balloon about moving the control of the census into the White House is creating yet another scandal in his first month in office. Fox News reports: “Congressional Republicans say they’ll go to court against President Obama if he doesn’t scuttle his plan to move the census into the purview of the Oval Office. But the administration says there is no such plan, even after apparently (and privately) assuring some Democratic members of Congress that there is. Statements issued by the White House have seemingly backed both points of view.” Gosh, that’s surprising (not). UPDATE 3/18/9: Obama’s ACORN community organizers will be recruiting the workers for the 2010 census! So the democrat party’s ACORN, plagued with voter fraud problems already, will run a “fair” census???
Obama’s Free House Scandal 2/13/9-At a Socialist Town Hall, Obama takes a question from Henrietta Hughes who say she is homeless and needs a house. Big Hollywood reports, “The next day the media was full of reports Hughes had a house. Another miracle by Saint Barack! See, it’s working! Now if you greedy, nasty conservatives would just get on board, the singing of “We Are the World” could begin! But wait, it wasn’t Saint Barack or even the Blessed Michelle who got the house for Ms. Hughes. It wasn’t the government bureaucrat or stimulus package that found the house for these poor folks, either. No, it was a nice lady named Chene Thompson, and who is Chene Thompson? Is she a “progressive” who cares about her fellow Americans? Is she a Hollywood celebrity? Is she even a Democrat? No. Mrs. Thompson is the wife of a Republican State Representative.” The press left that part of the story out so the Obamanator could part the seas.

Obama’s “Unprecedented Transparency” Lies: 7 Broken Promises! 2/15/9-Extremist Radical President Obama promises unprecedented transparency in his new administration…while at the same time hiding the contents of the Obama Debt Stimulus Plan from the public. After promising at least 48 hours for everyone to see the text of the bill, it is rammed through the House and Senate in secrecy within a few short hours. This President makes a practice of saying one thing and doing another.

On the campaign trail, Obama made this pledge: ‘When there is a bill that ends up on my desk as a president, you the public will have five days to look online and find out what’s in it before I sign it, so that you know what your government’s doing.’ The stimulus bill, a pay equity bill, a bill expanding children’s health insurance, the omnibus spending bill funding the remainder of the 2009 budget and a public lands bill were all signed before the final version was posted for public review for five days.”

Obama takes Vacation instead of signing so-called “URGENT” stimulus bill! 2/15/9 – The New York Post: ” After pushing Congress for weeks to hurry up and pass the massive $787 billion stimulus bill, President Obama promptly took off for a three-day holiday getaway. Obama arrived at his home in Chicago on Friday, and treated wife Michelle to a Valentine’s Day dinner downtown last night. The couple was spotted leaving upscale Table Fifty-Two, which specializes in Southern cuisine, with the first lady toting what appeared to be a doggie bag. The president plans to spend the Presidents’ Day weekend in the Windy City, and is not expected to sign the bill until Tuesday, when he travels to Denver to discuss his economic plan.”
Obama Broken Tax Promise # 2 2/17/9 – The St. Petersburg Times says Obama promised a $3,000 tax credit for businesses that add an employee. His stimulus bill did not include the idea and it appears to be dead. It never got support in Congress, even from Democrats. Lawmakers were concerned the credit wasn’t enough of an incentive. Tax policy analysts said the credit would be an administrative nightmare.
Obama’s Troop Surge Hypocrisy 2/18/9-Candidate Barack Obama was very vocal about how awful troop surges were. He stood firm in demanding the Bush surge was a mistake and only admitted to Katie Couric that surges actually worked after a good deal of badgering by her. On 7/22/2008 he told Couric, “There is no doubt our troops helped reduce violence (In Iraq, However) Those trrops could have gone to Afghanistan.” Not quite a full admission the surge worked, but certainly a partial one! Now, that he isn’t playing politics on TV anymore and actually has the job (wonder if he realizes that yet?), he has suddenly changed his tune! The Obama Troop Surge in Afghanistan suddenly is a good idea! The MSM aren’t even talking about this. UPDATE 2/20/9: Fox News followed our leadand did start talking about it!
Obama Appointment Scandal #21 John Deutch – 2/19/09 Ronald Kessler at Newsmax: Deutch is on an advisory panel on spy satellites, violating Obama’s pledge to hold everyone in his administration to the highest ethical standards. Deutch ran the CIA for a short time & agreed in 2001 to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unauthorized removal and retention of classified documents. President Clinton pardoned him as he left office. “Deutch essentially walked away from what is one of the most egregious cases of mishandling of classified information that I have ever seen, short of espionage,” Sen. Richard C. Shelby, R-Ala.

Fox news reports that mere moments later, his own spokeswoman Lori Irving shot the idea out of the sky. “The policy of taxing motorists based on how many miles they have traveled is not and will not be Obama administration policy.” Who is running this show? Obama, LaHood or Irving? You’re still not safe to drive though as some states are considering this tax!

This is the same event where John McCain ranted about the cost of upgrading the presidential helicopter. From FT: “Although Lawrence Summers, head of the National Economic Council, fell asleep on the podium, most attendees, including Republicans, appear to have appreciated the exercise. Obama Energy Lie # 1 -2/24/9 Barack tells a joint session of congress “we will double this nation’s supply of renewable energy” in 3 years so 16.8% of our energy comes from hydro, solar and wind by 2012. Fox reports: “Under the status quo, the Energy Department says, it will take more than two decades to boost that figure to [just] 12.5 percent.”

Hugo Obama says “we import more oil today than ever before.” Fox says that isn’t true: “Oil imports peaked in 2005 at just over 5 billion barrels, and have been declining slightly since. The figure in 2007 was 4.9 billion barrels, or about 58 percent of total consumption. The nation is on pace this year to import 4.7 billion barrels, and government projections are for imports to hold steady or decrease a bit over the next two decades.” & Tell your friends we get most of our oil from Canada (it’s true!).

Obama Questionable History – 2/24/9 Obama promises to save the United Auto Workers Union, “the nation that invented the automobile cannot walk away from it.” Many question that version of history saying Karl Benz of Germany invented the automobile in roughly 1885.
Obama’s Broken Tax Promise # 3 – 2/24/9 – Obama told congress he lived up to his promise to give a tax cut to 95% of all Americans. That’s a lie and a broken promise and he knows it. 40% of all Americans don’t make enough money to pay any federal income tax at all. That means even a tax cut for everyone else would only be a tax cut for 60% of Americans. What he actually did was use your tax dollars to provide a welfare check to the 40% by giving them $13 a week in their paycheck starting in April. If his math is right and another 5% are to get tax hikes, then the remaining 55% of Americans actually will get that whopping $13 tax cut and the rest of us are screwed. UPDATE 4/19/8 - David Axelrod, amazed people could be upset enough to hold tea parties, repeats the lie: “The thing that bewilders me is this president just cut taxes for 95 percent of the American people. So I think the tea bags should be directed elsewhere because he certainly understands the burden that people face.”
Obama’s Big Government Lie – “Not because I believe in bigger government — I don’t.” (2/24/09) The next day he proposed a budget with the biggest increase in the size of government ever!

Obama’s Healthcare Spending Lie …and in a bizarre statement, he claimed using tax dollars to create a socialist medicine program would reduce the deficit (he made no attempt to explain that).UPDATE5/3/9: Obama: “the more we do on the (disease) prevention side, the more we can obtain serious savings down the road. … If we’re making those investments, we will save huge amounts of money in the long term.” Fox News says not so fast: “the New England Journal of Medicine cautioned that “sweeping statements about the cost-saving potential of prevention, however, are overreaching.” It said that “although some preventive measures do save money, the vast majority reviewed in the health economics literature do not.” And a study released in December (2008) by the Congressional Budget Office found that increasing preventive care “could improve people’s health but would probably generate either modest reductions in the overall costs of health care or increases in such spending within a 10-year budgetary time frame.”
Obama’s Net Spending Cut Lie! 2/25/9 Obama, in the third debate, on the video below within the first minute: “what I’ve done throughout this campaign is to propose a net spending cut…. What I want to emphasize … is that I have been a strong proponent of pay-as-you-go. Every dollar that I’ve proposed, I’ve proposed an additional cut so that it matches.”
Obama Broken Promise on Iraq War # 2 2/25/9- Team Obama says it will remove troops from the battlefields in Iraq by August of 2010, 3 months later than his promised 16-month withdrawal of all troops. That broken promise could cost 100 lives. The new Obama word is that we won’t leave completely until 2011 sometime. That’s two to three years later than his promised “get out now” by the end of 2008 campaign talk. “The days of our open-ended commitment must come to a close,” he told the Senate, according to a Jan. 31, 2007, Washington Post article. Well, we he said he would get the troops out, he only meant he’d take troops actively involved in combat in certain areas on Tuesday afternoons out. We have to leave a “residual” force, we are told now. That force could be 50,000 troops strong and CodePink, MoveOn.org and top Dems are royally pissed off about this one! The Pink-PanTers actually believed him when he said he would get the troops out of Iraq and end the war. UPDATE 6/5/9: U.S. Socialist News and Liberal World Report: “He also plans to leave tens of thousands of troops behind to train Iraqis, protect U.S. interests, and root out al Qaeda insurgents. Many antiwar Democrats backed Obama in key primaries and caucuses last year because they believed he would end the war as soon as possible. Some of them are disappointed; others are angry.”UPDATE 9/5/9: A citizen writing in to the Journal News of New York’s Lower Hudson Valley asks, “How many more kids will President Obama sacrifice before he keeps his promise to end the occupation of Iraq and bring our youth home, not just send them to Afghanistan to die? What will it take for him to see the lessons we learned in Vietnam and those that Russia showed us in Afghanistan? The president is great in one thing: convincing the media to avoid reporting the deaths, continual deaths that is, and not preventing the Democrats from self-destruction (boy, are they in for a surprise in November). I used to vacation every year on Martha’s Vineyard with our nine children; I wonder how many warriors died during Obama’s time there? I voted for him and now I’m ashamed because of the wars, and his other broken promises of transparency, the lobbyists etc.” – R.J. Obama’s 3rd Pick for Commerce Broke Campaign Finance Laws (Appointment Scandal #23) 2/25/9 -Gary Locke was “fined a maximum $2,500 by state regulators after it admitted breaking campaign finance laws during two out-of-state fundraisers in 1996.” Even Obama jokes about his appointments: “I’m sure it’s not lost on anyone that we’ve tried this a couple of times.” Locke was breifly implicated in the ‘96 Clinton Chinese fundraising scandal, returned some checks, and was cleared of wrong-doing.
VP Biden Doesn’t Know Internet “Number!”- 2/25/9 – Another Gaffe for Joe Biden. Fox News reports “During a Feb. 25, 2009, interview on CBS’ “Early Show,” Biden encouraged viewers to visit a government-run Web site that tracks stimulus spending. When asked for the site’s web address, Biden could not remember the site’s “number.” “You know, I’m embarrassed. Do you know the Web site number?” he asked an aide standing out of view. “I should have it in front of me and I don’t. I’m actually embarrassed.”
Democrat Warns Obama about Constitutional Violations -2/25/9 America’s Watchtower: Democrat senator Robert Byrd, sent a letter to President Obama warning him that he is pushing the constitution’s limits in regards to Obama’s appointment of all of these “czars” to oversee issues (health reform, energy, climate change, urban issues) that are supposed to be handled by the legislative branch of the government. Feingold Hearings on Czars
Fox News reports liberal U.S. Senator Russ Feingold of Wisconsin wants to know if all of these Czars have to answer to congress. “Feingold said, “It’s not good enough to simply say, ‘Well, George Bush did it too.’”…White House counsel Gregory Craig…said some presidents have used such special advisers, or czars, to undermine Congress, but “that is simply not the case in the current administration.” Feingold also was critical of the administration for declining to send a witness to the hearing. “The White House decided not to accept my invitation … to explain its position on the constitutional issues we will address today,” Feingold said, referring to the Senate’s role in confirming top officials. “That’s unfortunate. It’s also a bit ironic since one of the concerns that has been raised about these officials is that they will thwart congressional oversight of the executive branch.”
Obama Appointment Scandal #24- Late-term abortion proponent put in charge of Health?! 2/28/9- In yet another poor character judgment, Obama names Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to be in charge of health and human services. She’s only interested in keeping SOME Americans healthy, not all. Reports say this abortion extremist once had a reception attended by a late-term abortion provider who now faces criminal charges. She’s also the Governor who threatened not to send out state tax refunds owed to citizens. UPDATE 4/14/9 AP reports Sebelius lowballed donations she received from late-term abortion provider “Dr.” George Tiller-the-Killer. She said it was $12,450 in 8 years, AP says there was more than $23,000 in just three of those years! UPDATE 4/21/9 Sebelius gets approved by a Senate subcommittee to protect the health of most, not all, Americans. Still needs full Senate approval. UPDATE 4/23/9 Michael Steele calls for Obama to withdraw Sebelius’ name from consideration the same day she vetoes a law that would have changed the late-term abortion rules in Kansas. UPDATE 429/9 Obama & Emanuel, not letting “a good crisis go to waste,” use the Swine Flu outbreak to scare wimpy republican Senators into confirming Sebelius. The Sebelius Rebelius Fails.
Obama’s Urban Czar Pay for Play Scandal (Appointment Scandal #25) – 3/1/9 The NY Daily News I-Team reports Adolfo Carrion, Jr., the man who is President Obama’s newly minted urban czar, “pocketed thousands of dollars in campaign cash from city developers whose projects he approved or funded with taxpayers’ money.” Amazing how most of these big appointment scandals go unreported as the national press tries to help its new President.
Obama’s Broken Earmark Pledge – 3/1/9 No big surprise here…Peter Orszag says Obama will “sign the $410 billion spending bill despite a campaign pledge that he would reject tailored budget requests that let lawmakers send money to their home states. Orszag said Obama would move ahead and overlook the time-tested tradition that lets officials divert millions at a time to pet projects.” From Rush Limbaugh: “He declared war on earmarks in a bill that’s got 9,000 of them! (laughing)… And he said this without bursting out laughing, too. He’s got to know when he says this, that it’s just BS. The only difference in his words and a bag of manure…was the bag. And he knows it.” UPDATE 3/8/9: Orszag repeats promise to approve the pork and earmarks. UPDATE 3/11/9: Promise-breaker-in-Chief Obama signs the bill changing positions to say he has to be flexible on earmarks and pork!
Obama’s War Savings Lie -3/2/9 He says he’ll save $1.5-Trillion in 10 years by cutting back the war in Iraq (and building up the war in Afghanistan??). For that to be true, the plan would have to have been to spend $150-billion a year through 2019…even though prior to Obama we agreed to get out of Iraq by 2011. It’s liberal ‘new math.’ UPDATE 5/7/9: The numbers still don’t add up. Fox reports: “And just as Congress is beginning work on a new war bill to fund military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan into the fall, Obama is sending up a $130 billion request to fund them next year. That figure may not be adequate considering the increase in the tempo of operations in Afghanistan.”
The Obama Lavish Corporate Parties Scandal 3/2/9- Team Obama and Bowney Fwank criticize lavish, evil corporate parties put on by overpaid execs, while having weekly Wednesday White House parties with rock stars and Hollywood celebs! So, while execs of bailed-out companies can’t have these evil corporate bashes in fancy hotels with Sheryl Crow because they are on the public dollar, seems it’s okay for Obama The Hypocrite to have lavish parties with Stevie Wonder for his pals ALSO on the public dollar. We foot the bill for “$100/ounce wagyu steak!“ UPDATE 4/18/9 For one party Obama had the owners of Pi Pizza in St. Louis flown in (probably on an evil corporate carbon footprint moster jet) just to make the pizza’s for his guests. Livin’ it up while the economy tanks!
Obama Tax Cheat Scandal # 5 (And Appointment Scandal #26) Ron Kirk 3/2/9- nominated as U.S. Trade Rep, the latest Obama tax cheater owes an estimated $10,000 in back taxes from earlier in the decade. Fox says he has agreed to make his payments now so he can get the job. The trouble surrounds his claiming sports tickets as deductions and donating speaking fees while not counting the fees as income.
Obama Gift Blunder #1 – 3/2/9 Time magazine: “One reason for the secrecy might be that the gift seems markedly less generous and thoughtful than the presents taken to Washington by the Prime Minister.” – London’s Evening Standard newspaper, reporting on the controversy over a gift swap between Obama and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown. Obama gave Brown a “special collector’s box” of DVDs while Brown gave an ornamental pen holder made from the timbers of the Victorian anti-slave ship HMS Gannet and a first edition of the seven-volume biography of Churchill by Sir Martin Gilbert, among other things. 10 Downing Street reportedly tried to keep Obama’s gift to the PM a secret.
Obama Stocks Stumble – 3/3/9 “What you’re now seeing is a profit and earnings ratios get to the point that buying stocks is a good thing if you have a long-term perspective on it,” said President Obama. It is PRICE to (future) Earnings ratio, not profit to earnings. Hopefully he knows that and this was just a gaffe. After the Dow hit its lowest level in a dozen years, Obama said he is not measuring policies against “the day-to-day gyrations of the stock market.”

Obama Secret Letter to Russia – 3/3/9 President Obama told Russia he was willing to sacrifice the safety of our European allies for a little help with Iran. PBS reports: “President Obama wrote a secret letter to Russian President, Dimitri Medvedev, saying that the U.S. will back off on plans to deploy a missile defense system in Eastern Europe if Russia will help deter Iran from developing long-range missiles. Medvedev indicated that he is willing to cooperate on the Iranian nuclear threat.”
Obama Intel Guy Violates Iran Policy (Appointment Scandal #27) 3/4/9- World Net Daily reports: “President Obama’s nominee for a top intelligence post sits on the board of a major oil company owned by the Chinese government that is in the midst of a multibillion dollar deal with Iran which may violate U.S. sanctions.” He is Charles “Chas” Freeman, Obama’s pick for the National Intelligence (we have a shortage of that lately) Council. (Thanks to Conservative American Steve for this idea!) UPDATE 3/10/9: After also getting blasted for comments he made about Israel & Iraq, Freeman takes himself out of the running.
Obama Bankruptcy Lie – ABCDEmocrat News: Obama kicks off his health care reform 3/5/9 with a mischaracterization of data. “The cost of health care now causes a bankruptcy in America every thirty seconds.” Simply unsupportable. The figure comes from a 2005 Harvard study saying that 54 percent of bankruptcies in 2001 were caused by health expenses. ABCDEmocrat News reviewed it and knocked it down. A more recent study, indicates in 2007 about eight-tenths of one percent of Americans lived in families that filed for bankruptcy as a result of medical costs. That rings a little less loudly than “one every 30 seconds.”
Obama Appointment Scandal #28 – Dr. Gupta – 3/5/9 Apparently worried about being forever tied to creating socialist healthcare in American, CNN’s Democrat Celebri-Doc, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, withdraws from consideration for Surgeon General. Another embarrassment for Team Obama.
Obama says No to Banks that want to return Bailout Money! – The Milwaukee BizTimes reported 3/5/9 that US Bank CEO: “Richard Davis said his company plans to join a group of banks that will return funds provided by the federal government’s Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP). Davis told analysts in a conference call this morning that the Minneapolis-based company must first undergo a federal “stress test,” but it will then seek to return $6.6 billion in TARP funds it had received. The NY Post says Obama forced banks that didn’t want TARP money to take it, then added on stipulations about pay and government control after the fact. Secretly forced Bank of America to buy Merrill Lynch, then allowed the bank to be criticized for overpaying.
Hillary Doesn’t Understand 2-Party System – 3/6/9 Reuters reports Obama’s Sec. of State told the European Union: “I have never understood multiparty democracy. It is hard enough with two parties to come to any resolution, and I say this very respectfully, because I feel the same way about our own democracy, which has been around a lot longer than European democracy.” With Bush, the Reuters story would have been that he was stupid to say this. With Clinton however, Reuters says she was just “tired!”
Obama’s Homeland Security Chief Gets it Wrong 3/9/9- American Chronicle: Incredibly, Janet Napolitano downplayed the danger the drug cartels pose to the United States. She told legislators that the violence perpetrated by the cartels in Mexico has yet to make its way into this country.
