You’ve got to hand it to Obama on this one. He has done the bit about “keeping your enemies closer” by naming Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. However, at the same time he also has managed to marginalize her.

White House Press Spinner Robert “Brothers” Gibbs slipped on Wednesday calling democrat Senator John F. Kerry, “Secretary Kerry.” Fox News reported,

“…it seemed like one heck of a Freudian slip. But Sen. John Kerry, the Massachusetts Democrat and former presidential candidate — fresh back from a successful diplomatic mission to Afghanistan — is brushing off any suggestion that he’s positioning for a promotion or stepping on the real secretary of state’s toes. “I did not take steps in any freelancing way. I was in touch with Secretary Clinton constantly,” Kerry told reporters Wednesday. “She encouraged me to stay at it, and I think we worked as an effective team.”

Obama has also used regional Czars to sideline Hillary. He even used Bill Clinton to sideline Hillary Clinton in North Korea.

Look for Hillary Clinton to resign after the 2010 elections. She’ll need time to mount an opposition candidacy to a sitting President for the 2012 election.

The only Official Sarah Palin Fan Club! ConservativeAmerican.org - Leading the way Right By Peter Andrew

Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post’s political blog, “The Fix,” has a great piece detailing how Sarah Palin is attempting to manager her “brand” as she gears up for a possible 2012 run for the White House. Cillizza says his sources tell him who is on the Palin Brand Protection Crew.  From his report:

John Coale with his wife

John Coale with his wife

John Coale: Washington lawyer and the husband of Fox News Channel’s Greta Van Susteren, drew national media attention when he endorsed McCain-Palin in protest of the way Hillary Clinton, who he backed in the primary, was treated. Coale, describes himself simply as a “friend” of Palin but acknowledged  he suggested she start a leadership PAC and helped her navigate through some of the questions surrounding her family that lingered after the campaign. Others familiar with Palin’s political team insist that Coale has far more power than he is letting on — essentially helping to run Sarah PAC. Coale demurred on that front, noting only that he talks to Palin regularly and that she is a “fascinating person” who is “definitely not what the right thinks or the left thinks.” ### Note from ConservativeAmerican.org….What the heck does that mean? ###
Meg Stapleton

Meg Stapleton

Meg Stapleton: Stapleton serves as the Alaska spokeswoman for Sarah PAC after having played a similar role for the governor during the vice presidential campaign and in the governor’s office. Stapleton has been the lead defender of Palin from barbs thrown at her — often from those allied with McCain — in the aftermath of the 2008 campaign and, generally, wins positive reviews from Washington insiders not directly allied with the governor. • Pam Pryor: Pryor is the Washington spokesperson for Sarah PAC after serving as a senior adviser to the RNC during last year’s general election. Pryor has previously served as press secretary and chief of staff to former Oklahoma Rep. J.C. Watts.
Becki Donatelli

Becki Donatelli

Becki Donatelli: Donatelli as Chris Cillizza reported a few weeks ago is officially running Sarah PAC. She is the chairman of Campaign Solutions, a fundraising and Internet strategy firm based in Virginia. ### Sorry, no picture of Pam Pryor.  Coale was backing Hillary and now all of the sudden he likes Sarah?  Hmmmmmmmmmm.  I am a huge fan of his wife’s TV show though!

USA: Land of Dynasties?

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008
When this whole party started, we didn’t want anymore Kings, Queens or royal families. We did have a President Adams early in our history who had a son that also became President. Then we had a Roosevelt in office so long, we set up term limits. For most of my lifetime, we have had royal families. BUSH ROYALTY George H.W. Bush was an ambassador, ran the CIA and then became Vice President under Ronald Reagan. After years in governmental leadership positions, he set up an office in the White House. After 8 years, it was his turn for four more years. Then his son took an 8-year turn. For 20 of the last 28 years, we have had a Bush Royal Family member in the White House. That’s too long. It’s too long for either party to have one family in office. It’s long enough for them to become almost royal. Jeb Bush ws governor down in Florida, might run for US Senate and probably wants to be President someday. Like him or not, that would not be a good idea. That’s enough time for one family. And one of Jeb’s sons, the one H.W. called “the colored one” could have a political future as well. CLINTON ROYALTY Billy Bob Clinton ran the White House for 8 years that were among the best economic years we have ever had. He benefited, of course, from Ronald Reagan’s economic policies and tax cuts, but don’t try to tell a democrat that. Once they got a taste of that power, they also did not want to let go. Suddenly they took up a New York residence and pretended to be happily married. Then, with her only qualification being that she married a guy who became President, she became a US Senator. The Clinton Royalty was back in D.C. She was nearly the democrat nominee for President in 2008. Now she stands ready to be in the White House often as the Secretary of State for perhaps 8 years. That will, no doubt, be followed by another run for the Presidency. This is another example of a family that has found tremendous power and has had it so long, it has almost become royalty. Soon the young Miss Clinton will be a candidate for something, somewhere. Enough of this family too. KENNEDY ROYALTY The Kennedy’s re-invented royalty in the USA (Camelot). The bought it and stole it. We all know about President John F. Kennedy, then brother Bobby Kennedy. Then Ted Kennedy who drove his political future over a bridge one evening ruining his chances of ever becoming President like his big brother. This family has had tons of power in Washington for more than 45 years now. That’s enough. The Royal Kennedy’s need to respect the wishes of our founders and be done now. Caroline Kennedy now wants to be US Senator. She could take the royal chair of the royal Hillary in the US Senate. That way, if Senator Ted should succomb to cancer, the Kennedy family can still run the Senate. Her qualifications? Far less than those of Sarah Palin, but she will be accepted quickly because of her name, and her coastal liberal status. Katie Couric won’t be asking Caroline what newspapers she reads every day. “And what was the cover story this morning Caroline?” Though she has no qualifications, Charles H. F. Hubris Gibson won’t be telling Caroline it takes a lot of Hubris to think she is qualified to be a US Senator. Gibson dare not, afterall Kennedy is royalty in the USA. GORE ROYALTY Usually we use the term Royal Pain in the ___ for Al Gore, but in this case, we are talking about purple royalty. First his Daddy, then him in the US Senate. Then the White House for 8 years as Royal VP for Royal Billy Bob. He was nearly elected president, but lost fair and square to George W. Bush, another Royal. Seeing a trend here? Gore will not have the honor of his Royal family ignored though and took off on an artificially green horse to ride to save the planet! In reality, Gore’s plan is just a method to fund a massive tax increase to pay for “the earth” which can then be used to create new democrat party government agencies who’s only real purpose is to elect democrats. The monster he would create would be akin to Fannie Mae, Tammy Faye and Freddie Mac. Let’s hope he sits his royal butt down and leaves us alone. We can only hope that for about another month. The Office of the President Elect has promised Gore that he’ll be getting power again soon. Obama has learned he must kiss the royals to win anything. He made a deal with dark side Royal Clintons to win the White House and now has made a deal with the Green Side Royal Gore’s as well. INSTEAD OF ROYALTY… How about some new people running for office with names we have not heard of before? How about a woman named Rosemary L. Staufowski from somewhere in the middle of New Mexico? Or why not a man named Anthony J. Kartenmoore from Livonia, Michigan or something? I’ll bet if these people existed they might have an idea or two that would be worth listening to. With all the mess in Illinois politics, they also have Royal families of the Kingdom of Lincoln. These include the Madigans and the Daleys. We don’t need royalty in the USA remember? So, in 2012 we don’t want to see any Gore’s, Clinton’s, Bush’s or Kennedy’s on the ballot anywhere. And how about no Madigans or Daleys for governor in Illinois either, Okay?

Feminist Admits Palin Was Mistreated

Heldman

Heldman

Even feminists who “abhor her politics” like Caroline Heldman are admitting Sarah Palin took an unfair beating by the Press.  Heldman has a post on the Daily Beast showing that while 48% of women answering their poll thought Hillary Clinton was treated farily, just 29% believe Palin got a fair deal. Heldman says,  “As a political scientist who researches sexism in the media, I have studied her pornification and ditzification.” While ConservativeAmerican.org  would agree with Heldman on very little, she makes some excellent points about sexism, noting that Palin “was openly scorned for playing ‘too female.’ Reporters made a paramount issue out of who would care for Palin’s children if she won. A popular liberal blog speculated that her infant son was instead her grandson. Cable news was captivated day-after-day by the $150,000 spent on Palin’s wardrobe, never asking about the expense of… (more…)

He's Back!

He's Back!

There’s news today of yet another deal between the Clinton’s and Barack Obama.  Bill Clinton is a large part of both deals. First, we have wondered before what kind of deal President Elect Barack Obama must have made with the Clinton’s during the presidential campaign.  Obama needed HIllary to both drop out of the race and throw her support behind him.  Billy Bob Clinton was not pleased with Obama and the way the Obama campaign painted him to be a racist.  He was downright pissed off about it.  He also was quite peeved that he would not be back in the White House.  He had no intention of supporting Barack Obama, yet suddenly the Clinton’s were 100% behind the Obaminator. During the campaign, Hillary loaned herself about $12-million dollars from Billy Bob’s $100-milion in speaking fees.  Money is a very powerful motivator.  Obama, no doubt, agreed to pay the Clinton campaign at least enough money so that they could pay themselves back.  Still there was that issue remaining that Bill wanted back at the power.  He wanted to be back in… (more…)

Wall Street Journal - Will Women Want to Run For White House?

Saturday, November 22nd, 2008
From the Official Sarah Palin Fan Club The Wall Street Journal has a very interesting opinion piece up today about sexism in politics.  You can read it here.  The article points out the battles faced both by Senator Hillary Clinton and Governor Sarah Palin as female candidates running for high office during the most recent election.  It points out how even women like Katie Couric continue to endorse and promote sexist ideas of how things should be.  The article concludes that Clinton and Palin have certainly removed any obstacle that might have been in place for a woman to run for president, but asks “Will any of them want to?”  There certainly was an unfair price these women had to pay.  Sarah Palin continues to pay it daily.
