Palin: Asset or Liability?

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

From the Official Sarah Palin Fan Club - By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

A political observer from Stanford University has an article in the San Francisco Chronicle asking if Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is an asset or a liability to the republican party. From the ConservativeAmerican.org vantage point, she is a great asset.

Bill Whalen says with Obama in place, the GOP has “loads of time to figure what it is, and why it exists.” Whalen, of course, would prefer it not exist at all.  The implication he offers is that the republicans cannot, or at least have not, provided a reason for their own existence!  With Johnny MaverDick McCain as a presidential candidate, he may have been right.  McCain agreed with Barack Obama on more issues than he disagreed with him.  The republican party did stray from conservative values in 2008.

Whalen is correct that republicans need a clear message delivered by someone who knows how to deliver a clear message!  We need to return to a clear traditional conservative American message delivered by a plain-speaking candidate, someone like Sarah Palin.

From Whalen’s article:

“The Alaska governor was asked to campaign in the Georgia runoff. The winner, Sen. Saxby Chambliss, credited her with firing up the base. And therein lays Palin’s gift - and her curse. No other conservative so excites the Reliably Right these days. Certainly not Huckabee, who now has a weekly show on the Fox News Channel. Nor a more recent convert to conservatism like Romney, who donated to the Yes on Proposition 8 campaign to bolster his case with party activists. Palin easily outpaces other Republicans in terms of buzz and enthusiasm: No other wannabe is better at drawing cameras or selling tickets to a fundraiser. But it’s a one-dimensional thrill. Take her out of the Deep South, or any other deep-red hamlet of America, and Palin becomes a polarizing figure. Some see the next Reagan; others see a character straight out of “Northern Exposure.”

I like Whalen’s description of Huckabee and Romney.  He thinks Bobby Jindal might have a shot but says republicans usually go with seniority.  Jindal would not have that.  Whalen’s position is that the republicans need a “messenger capable of stitching together a winning coalition of red and blue states.” We think that can be Sarah Palin.  What do you think? Why McCain Picked Palin

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

From the Official Sarah Palin Fan Club

The WashingtonPost.com has an online story explaining why John McCain picked Sarah Palin as his running mate.  Chris Cillizza has the report on his “The Fix” blog.  Apparently Johnny McCain was asked by a local reporter in Arizona.  From Cillizza’s column…

Said McCain:

“Well, primarily, it was her qualifications, her reform agenda. She took on and defeated an incumbent governor of her own party. She had attacked corruption that she saw there in Alaska. She was a mayor.

She understands very well, as well as anyone, the energy challenges that are probably, along with our other economic challenges, one of the greatest challenges we’ve faced.

And I knew that — frankly, that she would be an energizing factor, because she energized me and the impressions that I had of her and the meetings that I had with her.

So I just — I just believe that, you know, also, outside the beltway was important. Americans have a very low opinion, very low approval rating of Congress and things that are happening in Washington.”

He still can’t admit why he picked her.  McCain picked her because he had no money coming in and no excitement in his campaign whatsoever.  He knew he had to pick a conservative to get anything going at all.  It probably killed him to do so.  He has never been a conservative.  Once he picked her, he tossed her under the straight talk express feeding her to wolves like Katie Couric and Charles “Mr. Hubris” Gibson.  I have less and less respect for this man as time goes on.  He didn’t even come to her defense when his campaign staff was spreading lies about her after the election.  Maybe it was McCain who spread those lies himself?

Is Romney Source of False Palin Leaks?

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

From the Official Sarah Palin Fan Club

By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

A writer for the “Guardian” of the United Kingdom says he has heard former presidential candidate Mitt Romney may be behind the false leaks and lies about Sarah Palin from the McCain Campaign.  Seems Romney had some campaign folks working with McCain who writer Dan Kennedy thinks may have been the ones dishing the dirt on Sarah to help wipe her out so Romney can run again!  God save us all.  We don’t need Johnny-(McCain)-come-lately conservatives like Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney.  They only became people who claimed to be conservatives when it was convenient for them.

Kennedy is among the Palin bashers and says he takes great joy in knowing conservatives are mad at FOX News for Carl Cameron’s airing of leak after leak.  Not all conservatives are mad about this, Dan.  I’m not mad about it.  News is news.  Fox actually reports on it when one of our people messes up.  Those in your prized democrat media Dan, don’t bother to report on it when democrats mess up.  So, we’re actually not mad when people report what they have been told.

Secret Ballots or Not?

Monday, November 17th, 2008

Senator Dorgan (D)
Senator Dorgan (D)

By now, you have heard the democrats can’t wait to repay the unions around the country for the many millions of dollars they spent on the democrat party. They plan to reward them by passing a law that says to unionize a shop, you no longer need a secret ballot. You can just have the vote in a room where everyone else can see how everyone else votes. The unions want this because normally they get enough people to say yes to get the ball rolling to unionize a shop, but when it comes time for the real yes-or-no secret ballot vote, they normally are shot down. The dems owe them big time. So, once Barack Obama is in, they will pass this. They believe firmly we don’t need secret ballots. Or do they? Let’s look at what Senator Byron Dorgan, a democrat, told Chris Matthews on Fox News Sunday yesterday to find out. (more…)

Two Actual Republicans Spotted in US Senate!!!!!

Sunday, November 16th, 2008

By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.or

I know this one will be hard to believe, but two men who looked a lot like US Senators, actually behaved like republicans today. No, I’m not kidding. Two of them actually stood up, in public, and said out loud that they are against any bailout for Ford, General Motors or Chrysler. Be still my heart.

The issue gets confusing because President Bush is against a “Bailout” but FOR speeding up “Loans” to the big three car makers. Six of one, half of another. The bailout bill was NOT popular and “Loans” sound better. They create the illusion that we might actually be paid back. Ha!

Fox News is reporting that Sens. Richard Shelby of Alabama and Jon Kyl of Arizona said “it would be a mistake to use any of the Wall Street rescue money to prop up the automakers. They said an auto bailout would only postpone the industry’s demise.” They probably thought no one would hear them or something. If not, it is amazing that a US Senator actually dared to be a conservative American.

The report continues, adding, Companies fail every day and others take their place. I think this is a road we should not go down,” said Shelby. “They’re not building the right products,” he said. “They’ve got good workers but I don’t believe they’ve got good management. They don’t innovate. They’re a dinosaur in a sense.” Senator Kyl told reporters today, “Just giving them $25 billion doesn’t change anything. It just puts off for six months or so the day of reckoning.”

Sen. Shelby

“It’s not the General Motors we grew up with. It’s a General Motors that is headed down this road to oblivion,” said Shelby. “Should we intervene to slow it down, knowing it’s going to happen? I say no, not for the American taxpayer.”

Did he just say “American Taxpayer?” He noticed us? Wait, he’s a real US Senator behaving like a conservative American? This is hard to believe.

In order to tone down these two rebels, we have to find some moderates, or centrists, or wise old populists right? We need John McCain to pretend he’s a real republican, right? Wrong. We didn’t have to wait long or look to hard.

Obama’s Acceptance Makes Jesse Jackson Cry

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

It was an amazing moment for Barack Obama.  One he has dreamed about for years.  He effectively and cleverly created his place in history next to Martin Luther King, Jr.  with huge crowds and “dreamy” speeches.  “That’s the true beauty of America: American ccan change,” he said, and added, “Change has come.” With NFL-style camera’s over the field of people, careful to show white people as well as blacks, Obama promised to work with Gov. Sarah Palin and Sen. John McCain.  I doubt that will happen, but it makes a good sound bite.  His speeach continued his move to the center, though his presidency is not likely to do so.  He spoke of the dream (there’s that word again) of our Founders, though he has also spoken of how the constitution was, and is flawed.  Is that the “change” that has come? With huge pictures of flags (instead of real ones) behind him on a giant screen there was no worry about pitching flags in the garbage this time.  I doubt the Chicago garbage collectors will leak a story to the media about what happened to the small flags in hands last night.  The best thing about the speech was (no not the puppy for the kids, though they do deserve that!) that he made Jesse Jackson cry.

A Good Day for Conservatives!

We can even laugh at this picture!

The half-black democrat socialist won the election. You might think this is a bad day for conservative Americans. It certainly was not our wish to have the country head in this dangerous direction. It certainly makes us unhappy that this man will be choosing his friends (he has done so well with that in the past…not!) for the US Supreme Court. However, there are reasons for conservatives to view this as a good day. Here they are… (more…)

Prepare for the Racist Talk from the Media

Monday, November 3rd, 2008

Get ready to be called all sorts of nasty names starting Wednesday morning.  It won’t matter if Obama wins or McCain wins, the stories are already written and ready to air on democrat party media outlets like NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN & MSNBC.

You are a racist.  If Congressman Murtha can be found, he might even call you a redneck.

McCain Ahead in New Ohio Poll…3 days left!

Saturday, November 1st, 2008

McCain up by 5% in Ohio! - To demonstrate how much “positioning” is involved in determining the winners of polls, ConservativeAmerican.org conducted its own poll in Ohio today. With the same fair and accurate weighting of voters used by ABC, CBS and NBC (see notes for Media below), we contacted 893 voters by phone to ask who they would be voting for. The poll is of likely voters based on previous voting habits.

McCain winning fight

McCain winning fight

McCain had 51% of the Ohio vote, with Obama declining to 46%,” reported ConservativeAmerican.org founder Peter Andrew. “These results show that as the election draws just hours away, people are taking a hard and serious look at Barack Obama. They don’t like what they’re seeing and hearing. ” Poll internals indicate a strong displeasure in the Joe the Plumber “spread the wealth around” infamous line used by Obama. “This has hurt his polling in Ohio and “we expect McCain to win the state by a 5 to 7 percentage point margin.”

POLL DETAILS FOR MEDIA:

  • PREMISE…Polling is very sophisticated and the tabulation of statistics is not as simple as it may seem. The ConservativeAmerican.org poll started in the same manner as all of the major polls sponsored by major media outlets. Using the “begin with the end in mind” strategy for success outlined in a famous book, we talked with our friends and decided ahead of time what we wanted the outcome to be. We wanted Palin-McCain to win. The only difference in our poll and the poll sanctioned by Katie Couric at CBS is that we will admit this to you and they pretend their poll is honest.
  • POLLING SIZE…Most polls run by the media like ABC’s poll use a statistical sample size of 4 digits (between 1,000 and 9,999). Charles Gibson has so much Hubris (excessive pride and arrogance) in thinking that he can be a national TV news anchor (What makes him qualified? He clearly is too dumb for the job), he forgets to mention the tiny size of his poll in comparison to the number of voters. In our poll, we also used a 4-digit sample size. Four of our friends used their center digit to make their feelings known. So, the only difference in our poll and theirs again, is that we are honest in explaining it to you.
  • WEIGHTING OF RESULTS…Most of the media polls like CNN’s and MSNBC’s use a process called “weighting” to achieve the poll results they were looking for. They give democrat, socialist and Marxist poll responders more “weight” in determining the results than they give to republicans or conservatives. We use a statistical process called average weighting. That means we spoke with female responders until we could get the right number of women to allow us to take the average weight of all the female responders (in pounds) and achieve a number of 100. Therefore each of our poll responders was counted fully, at 100 (or 100%) of their vote as long as they were conservatives. The only difference in our weighting system and the ones used at CNN and MSNBC is that we are honest with you about it; it’s bullogna.
  • MARGIN OF ERROR…The media will use fancy “new” math to tell you their poll only has a margin of error of plus or minus “2.9%” or “4.765993%,” a manufactured number designed to make certain Barack Obama can be presented as the winner. The obvious goal of the mainstream media polls is to show the race is over for the republicans, though they won’t admit that to you. To determine our Margin of Error, we took our survey team out to breakfast at a fast food restaurant. After being certain that real butter was not used, thus harming no cows in conducting our experiment, we spread the buttery spread on our muffins in varying amounts. We had ten members of the team do this. The one with the most buttery spread on his muffin, became ill after consuming so much fake cow stuff, thus determining our Margarine of Error at 1 in 10. Get it? Margarine of Error? Now, C’mon…that was funny.
  • MORAL TO THE STORY…Make sure you take your conservative vote to the poll.

Obama Quote of the Day from FOX News

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008
Obama picks pals

Obama picks pals

I’m almost afraid to ask, but what is a “structural feminist?”  Is that a feminist who has a “structure” like Janet Reno?  This quote has been on FOX news all day (the other stations are silent).  It is right out of the Obaminable Snowed-Man’s book.  Wait….maybe a structural feminist is a group of boyish-women (to misquote the California Governor’s famous girly-men line) who all live together?  Nah, that can’t be it.  McCain needs to get the message out on every ad and in every appearance non-stop until Tuesday.  Check it out on Fox.
