Team Obama Wipes out Jobs Created by Bush Logging Plan! 7/16/9 While the Obama Administration promises to create millions of new jobs out of one side of its mouth, it is eliminating jobs out of the other side! Team Bush had been working for five years to reduce the habitat for the spotted owl so more logging jobs could be created in the Northwest forests of Oregon. The Daily News Online reports: “Bush’s logging plan would have allowed five times the timber harvest sold last year. While a big jump, it would have been just half of what was logged before the 1994 Northwest Forest Plan dramatically cut logging to protect habitat for owls and salmon. Lawsuits from conservation groups sparked the Northwest Forest Plan, which cut logging by more than 80 percent in national forests of Oregon, Washington and Northern California to protect habitat for the spotted owl and salmon.” — Obama’s Interior Secretary Ken Salazar blamed the Bush Administration for not doing the paperwork properly and said he had no choice but to dump the Bush plan and wipe out those jobs.
Obama Lies to the Pope!!! 7/16/9 Reuters reports: “President Barack Obama promised Pope Benedict on Friday that he would do everything possible to reduce the number of abortions in the United States, the Vatican said.” – Days after the meeting, the Obama Health Care Takeover is announced. By not including language to remove abortion from coverage, the ObamaCare plan includes the so-called “Freedom of Choice Act,” which undoes ever advance the Pro Life crowd has made since 1973. It wipes out parental notification and will increase the number of abortions in the United States…meaning Obama lied to the Pope.
CBO Says ObamaCare Nightmare Cost Savings Claim is Nuts! 7/17/9 – Fox News: “The director of the Congressional Budget Office issued a warning to Democrats Thursday that their health care proposals would raise costs, not lower them. One day after a Senate panel approved its version of the health care reform plan, the first committee to do so, CBO Director Doug Elmendorf gave a dose of bad medicine to a separate committee. Asked by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Kent Conrad, D-N.D., whether costs would be lowered — also known as “bending the curve” — Elmendorf responded: “The curve is being raised.”
ObamaCare Nightmare Breaks Promise to be more Open (Again) 7/19/9 The Obama Health Care Plan (ObamaCare NightMare) was written in secret and passed out of two committees before anyone even read it! That breaks his promise to have “meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public.”
ObamaCare Nightmare Breaks Secrecy Promise 7/19/9 ObamaCare also breaks candidate Obama’s promise to have “no more secrecy” in Washington so that the work in Washington will be “Open and transparent so that anyone can ensure that our business is the people’s business.” Not sure how that fits in with writing the plan in secrecy and then approving a bill from committee before even the elected officials have read it!

The ObamaCare Nightmare & the Big Health “Crisis” Lie! 7/20/9 A New Zogby Poll says there isn’t any health care crisis! It’s the Big Health Crisis Lie! Fully 84% of Americans are either satisfied or VERY satisfied with their health care coverage! So where is the crisis?! The nation’s first socialist President has simply invented a “crisis” to help him push through “emergency” legislation that will allow the socialist-democrats to control a huge chunk of the economy and to take away more and more of your freedom and liberty!
Sleeping Larry Summers Gets Economic Facts from Google Search??!! 7/20/9 – Fox & Friends reports that White House Economic Sleeper Larry Summers actually woke up to see how the economy was doing. When he did, he went online and checked what the popular google searches were. Learning that “economic depression” was not searched as much as in the past, he stated the economy is improving! Okay Larry, you can go back to sleep now.
Obama Claims Slow Stimulus Spending is “Faster than Ever!” 7/20/9 Michael Steele at the RNC points out: “Obama Said Stimulus Has Moved “Faster Than Ever, More Responsibly Than Ever.” Obama: “We‘ve done more than ever, faster than ever, more responsibly than ever, to get the gears of the economy moving again.” (Peter Nicholas, Obama Confronts Doubts On Stimulus, Vows Faster Spending, Los Angeles Times, 6/2/09) REALITY: Even Shovel-Ready Projects Haven’t Been Allowed To Start. As of July 10, more than 3,600 of the 5,600 road projects approved by Washington — including six of the 10 largest approved projects — had not been given the green light to start construction … In Florida, not a single highway project had been given the go-ahead to start construction by July 10 — even though the state, with an unemployment rate of 10.6%, had 272 projects valued at more than $1 billion approved by the federal government.” (Don Lee, Highway Spending Isn‘t The Stimulus It Was Envisioned To Be, The Los Angeles Times, 7/20/09)
Obama Gaffe: Admits His Health Reform will Cause “Inefficiencies!”- 7/20/9 Politico reports: “Would health care reform bring “greater inefficiencies” to the country’s health care system? That’s exactly what Obama said Monday when he spoke about health care reform at the Childrens National Medical Center in Washington. “The reforms we seek would bring greater competition, choice, savings and inefficiencies to our health care system,” Obama said in remarks after a health care roundtable with physicians, nurses and health care providers. “And greater stability and security to America’s families and businesses.”

Obama Says He’s “Not Familiar” with Key Part of ObamaCare Nightmare! 7/21/9 From the Heritage Foundation and Real Clear Politics: “During the call, a blogger from Maine said he kept running into an Investors Business Daily article that claimed Section 102 of the House health legislation would outlaw private insurance. He asked: “Is this true? Will people be able to keep their insurance and will insurers be able to write new policies even though H.R. 3200 is passed?” President Obama replied: “You know, I have to say that I am not familiar with the provision you are talking about.” Rush Limbaugh says it’s on page 16 of your own ObamaCare Nightmare!
ObamaCare Nightmare is a “Dream” for Illegal Aliens! 7/21/9 Obama will be providing free health care to illegal aliens and YOU will be paying for it! From The Obama File and Newsmax: “Democrats moved one step closer to giving free health insurance to the nation’s estimated 12 million illegal aliens when they successfully defeated a Republican-backed amendment, offered by Rep. Dean Heller, R-Nev., that would have prevented illegal aliens from receiving government-subsidized health care under the proposed plan backed by House Democrats and President Barack Obama. The House Ways and Means Committee nixed the Heller amendment by a 26-to-15 vote along straight party lines.” -UPDATE 9/9/9 Rep. Joe Wilson shouts “You lie!” at Obama during the President’s address to congress after Obama claims no illegals will get care under “his plan” (despite not having a real plan). UPDATE 9/11/9 – Unless Obama comes up with a system where hospitals check ID’s before offering service, Obamacare certainly will cover illegal aliens. Politifact is wrong on this one. UPDATE 9/12/9From ALIPAC: “Further evidence of Obama’s lie is found in the FACT that while illegal immigrants are mentioned in HR 3200 as being ineligible for health care benefits, there are no enforcement provisions and Republican lawmaker attempts to amend the legislation and add enforcement provisions have been voted down by Democrats. “Under current law, illegal aliens are not supposed to receive welfare or medicaid benefits. Team Obama Claims the Obamacare Nightmare will cost less and add benefits! 7/22/9 Conservative American Bobby Jindal: “Mr. Obama’s rhetoric paints a picture of a massive new benefit that will actually cost average Americans less than what they pay today. The Democrats want middle-class taxpayers to believe they won’t feel the pinch of this initiative, even as their employers are assessed massive new taxes. They might as well try to argue that up is down.
Rahm Emanuel: Recession is Over! 7/22/9 – From UPI & the New York Times: “White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel told The New York Times Obama intends to use the news conference as a “six-month report card,” to talk about “how we rescued the economy from the worst recession.” – Well, that’s good news! We’ve all be rescued now and the recession is over. Rahm apparently doesn’t get out much.

ObamaCare Breaks Obama’s own Transparency Promise! 7/22/9 – Team Obama continues to conduct the public’s business in top secret meetings! You can’t even find out who Obama has been meeting with to discuss the ObamaCare Nightmare! From the Los Angeles Times: “Invoking an argument used by President George W. Bush, the Obama administration has turned down a request from a watchdog group for a list of health industry executives who have visited the White House to discuss the massive healthcare overhaul. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington sent a letter to the Secret Service asking about visits from 18 executives representing health insurers, drug makers, doctors and other players in the debate. The group wants the material in order to gauge the influence of those executives in crafting a new healthcare policy….(the group) said it would file suit against the Obama administration as early as today. The group already has sued the administration over its failure to release details about visits from coal industry executives. A White House spokesman, Ben LaBolt, said, “We are reviewing our policy on access to visitor logs and related litigation.”
ObamaCare Nightmare Transparency Lie # 2 7/22/9 Peter Nicholas at the LA Times: “As a candidate, President Obama vowed that in devising a healthcare bill he would invite in TV cameras — specifically C-SPAN — so that Americans could have a window into negotiations that normally play out behind closed doors. …Having promised transparency, the administration should be willing to disclose who it is consulting in shaping healthcare policy, said an attorney for (a) citizens’ group. In its letter requesting the records, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics asked about visits from Billy Tauzin, president of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America; Karen Ignagni, president of America’s Health Insurance Plans; William Weldon, chairman and CEO of Johnson & Johnson; and J. James Rohack, president of the American Medical Assn., among others. “It’s extremely disappointing,” said Anne Weismann, the group’s chief counsel. Obama is relying on a legal argument that “continues one of the bad, anti-transparency, pro-secrecy approaches that the Bush administration had taken. And it seems completely at odds with the president’s commitment . . . to bring a new level of transparency to his government.” UPDATE 1/7/10:Fox News: “C-SPAN CEO Brian Lamb accused President Obama of using his network as a “political football” during the presidential campaign, citing the president’s broken pledge to televise health care reform negotiations on the nonpartisan channel which is devoted to covering Washington. Lamb, speaking on liberal host Bill Press’ radio show Wednesday, said Obama had “no right” to assume C-SPAN would cover the talks in the first place. And while he said his network would naturally want to cover the negotiations in full anyway, Lamb expressed disappointment that the White House has not lived up to that commitment. He said the “only time” the network has been allowed to cover the White House’s involvement in the talks was a “one-hour” event in the East Room which he described as a “show-horse” affair.” Meanwhile Robert Gibbs refuses to answer questions…

ObamaCare Nightmare Transparency Lie # 3 7/22/9 Team Obama said the ObamaCare plan would not add to the huge budget deficit. Not true! Fox News: “House Democrats want to give doctors a $245 billion sweetener that helps ensure their critical support for a health care overhaul bill. Next up: Trying to explain how they could do it without breaking President Barack Obama’s promise that health legislation won’t increase the federal deficit. Obama reiterated the pledge in a “CBS Evening News” interview Tuesday, saying: “It’s got to be deficit neutral. It can’t add to our deficits.” So what of the Congressional Budget Office’s conclusion that the House bill does add to the deficit? Democrats and the Obama administration argue that the $245 billion included for doctors — the approximate 10-year cost of adjusting Medicare reimbursement rates so physicians don’t face big annual pay cuts — does not have to be counted in the overall cost of the health care bill. Their only-in-Washington reasoning is that they already decided to exempt it from congressional “pay-as-you-go” rules that require new programs to be paid for. In other words, it doesn’t have to be paid for because they decided it doesn’t have to be paid for“!!!!!

ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 1 7/22/9 – Twice during his press conference, Obama lied saying he inherited from President Bush a $1.3-trillion federal budget deficit. Not true. On July 13th, we reported the deficit had just topped $1-trillion for the first time ever. That is Obama’s deficit. Bush never had a deficit anywhere near $1.3-trillion. For Obama to say so is an outright lie. Even the Associated Press noted: “Obama is…proposing a budget that assumes a jaw-dropping deficit of $1.75 trillion this year, a quadruple increase from the year before.” – More fuzzy math from this socialist administration.

ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 5 7/22/9 Obama says his plan “lowers healthcare expenses.” The non-partisan Congressional Budget Office says that’s not true. How long until he starts firing the CBO guys just like the inspectors generals he has canned?
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 6 7/22/9 Obama says his plan will, “slow the growth of healthcare expenses.” WHat growth?! You just said it is going to lower the expenses! Apparently there will be growth in expenses just like the CBO said this plan would do. UPDATE 9/30/9: The National Review Online adds “In July, CBO director Douglas Elmendorf said, “In the legislation that has been reported we do not see the sort of fundamental changes that would be necessary to reduce the trajectory of federal health spending by a significant amount. And on the contrary, the legislation significantly expands the federal responsibility for health-care costs.” The CBO projects that the legislation that Sen. Max Baucus (D., Mont.) has since introduced “would reduce the federal budgetary commitment to health care, relative to that under current law, during the decade following the 10-year budget window,” but hints that the 40 percent cut in Medicare’s reimbursement rates, which helps Baucus achieve that feat, is politically unrealistic.”

ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 7 7/22/9 Obama says the Obamacare plan will “improve health care for seniors.” Not true. Rationing care means some get it and some don’t. Those with better chances (younger people) will get the care, the seniors won’t. Also, Obama says he’ll save money by getting rid of “things that don’t make you healthier.” HE gets to decide what those things are, not seniors or geriatric doctors!
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 8 7/22/9 Obama lies (David Axelrod repeated the lie on 7/23/9) saying his healthcare proposal “promotes choice.” Wrongo. The plan eliminates choice by 2013. Those seeking new health insurance will have no choice at all in 2013. They will HAVE TO go with the government-run, socialist healthcare plan. See the 7/21/9 scandal (above) where he said he’s “not familiar” with that part of the plan!!
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 9 7/22/9 Obama has the audacity to claim that he’ll pay for 2/3rds of his $1.5-Trillion healthcare plan by realizing “savings” from the fact the government will run healthcare!!! Has the government ever saved us a dime running anything?! What makes him think he can do so now? $600 hammer anyone?
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 10 7/22/9 Obama was dishonest with the american people when he claimed the “debt and deficit are deep concerns of mine.” We have demonstrated his deficit deception here. Democrats no longer care about deficits. Even the Associated Press noted: “Obama is not simply proposing a budget that assumes a jaw-dropping deficit of $1.75 trillion this year, a quadruple increase from the year before. He’s trying to redirect strong currents in American society.”
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 11 7/22/9 Obama used his own “new math” to claim he reduced the deficit! He said doing nothing would mean a budget deficit of $9.3-Trillion over ten years, something he can’t possibly know. But he said with his changes it will only be $7.1 trillion in ten years. He is already up to $1-trillion in the first year (and climbing rapidly). So, how does he claim that it will go down so dramatically while he increases healthcare spending? CBS News Chip Reed asked him about it at an earlier press conference (click here to see the video) basically “asking what about years 6, 7, 8 and 9 of his budget when the deficits keep going up, up, up. The president said “we’ll make new budgets by then,” and basically not to worry about it since it is so far away!!” – So, the President is using ficticious future budget cuts from a time when he may not even be president to claim that he is reducing the budget deficit! More blazing deficit hyprocrisy. We have been Leading the way Right on this story. Check out what we said on 3/21/9.UPDATE: Here’s what the NY Times added on 7/23/9: “The president continued to take credit for deficit reduction by making a claim that has been challenged by many experts. “If we had done nothing, if you had the same old budget as opposed to the changes we made,” the deficit over the next 10 years would be $2.2 trillion greater, the president said. In fact, $1.5 trillion of those “savings” are mainly based on an assumption that the United States would have had as many troops in Iraq in 10 years as it did when Mr. Obama took office. But before leaving office, President George W. Bush signed an agreement with Baghdad mandating the withdrawal of all American forces within three years.
So Mr. Obama is claiming credit for not spending money that, under the policy he inherited from Mr. Bush, would never have been spent in the first place”!!! – UPDATE: Here’s what the Associated Press added: “Beyond that, budget experts have warned about various accounting gimmicks that can mask true burdens on the deficit. The bipartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget lists a variety of them, including back-loading the heaviest costs at the end of the 10-year period and beyond. THE FACTS: Obama’s numbers are based on figures compiled by his own budget office. But they rely on assumptions about economic growth that some economists find too optimistic. The nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office, in its own analysis of the president’s budget numbers, concluded that the cumulative deficit over the next decade would be $9.1 trillion.”
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 12 7/22/9 Obama again used his own “new math” to make the bizarre claim that he has “cut spending.” It’s more of the “Obama Gap” we reported on April 21st: “addressing congress he promised to get rid of government programs that don’t work and cut out that spending, then he proposes the biggest increase in government spending ever, now he asks his cabinet to cut $100-million in spending. He wants to increase the size of government to $4-Trillion a year, and asked for a cut FROM HIS HUGE BUDGET REQUEST of 1/35,000th of the amount he wants to spend.” – And that is how he claims he has “cut” spending…he cut the size of his gigantic increase.
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 13 7/22/9 Answering a reporter question from a hot news babe, Obama said he wasn’t actually lying about having health care meetings on C-Span. He had said in the past these meetings were held in secret but in his new era of transparency, he would put them on C-Span. The reporter babe saw right through that. Obama says it wasn’t a lie though because he put the first meeting about healthcare on C-Span. Uhmmmmmmmmm….As O’Reilly said, “I don’t understand what the president is trying to say.”
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 14 – THE BIG ONE 7/22/9 Obama repeated his anti-Jim DeMint lie that the health care debate is “Not about me.” The Fox News Ticker earlier reported that U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley told them the president told a group of democrats, “You’re trying to destory my Presidency!” The hot-headed response came after the president learned a “large number” of centrist democrats are against his socialist healthcare plan. It really is all about him. UPDATE 7/28/9: More from Rush Limbaugh.

ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 15 7/22/9- The New York Times added some lies to our list. They report experts tell them “some of his points were debatable. – “For example, with the Obama-proposed new cost-control agency, the times notes: “Mr. Obama said: “It’s not going to reduce Medicare benefits. What it’s going to do is to change how those benefits are delivered so that they’re more efficient.”Hospitals say the cuts could indeed cut services in some rural areas and from teaching hospitals, which receive extra payments because of higher costs.
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 16 7/22/9 NY Times: “Mr. Obama said doctors, nurses, hospitals, drug companies and AARP had supported efforts to overhaul health care.While it is true the American Medical Association has endorsed a bill drafted by House Democratic leaders, (it’s also true that) a half-dozen state medical societies have sharply criticized provisions that would establish a new government-run health insurance plan.
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 17 7/22/9 NY Times: “The president said that health insurance companies were making “record profits.” America’s Health Insurance Plans, the main lobby for insurers, contends that “for every $1 spent on health care in America, approximately one penny goes to health plans’ profits.” UPDATE 10/26/9: St. Louis Tea Party adds the following, “health insurers historically see about a 6% profit margin, which is well below many other industry groups. Contrary to Obama’s claims, this margin did not change significantly during the Bush administration, and last year it was only 2.2%. It’s true that insurance premiums increased significantly during the past ten years, but it’s false to assert that these increases fed any kind of “obscene profits.”
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 18 7/22/9 The Associated Press & Yahoo! News added some lies to our list. For Example: “President Barack Obama’s assertion Wednesday that government will stay out of health care decisions in an overhauled system is hard to square with the proposals coming out of Congress and with his own rhetoric. Even now, nearly half the costs of health care in the U.S. are paid for by government at all levels. Federal authority would only grow under any proposal in play.” – UPDATE 8/8/9: Obama lies during his weekly radio address saying his socialist plan will not be government-run! “the president pushed back against claims “that reform will…bring about a government takeover of health care. That’s simply not true.”
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 19 7/22/9 The Associated Press & Yahoo! News: “OBAMA: “We already have rough agreement” on some aspects of what a health care overhaul should involve, and one is: “It will keep government out of health care decisions, giving you the option to keep your insurance if you’re happy with it.” THE FACTS: In House legislation, a commission appointed by the government would determine what is and isn’t covered by insurance plans offered in a new purchasing pool, including a plan sponsored by the government. He does not need a single republican vote to pass his plan. If there is a problem getting it passed, it is a democrat-only problem!!! UPDATE 9/13/9:Obama said in an interview broadcast Sunday on CBS’ “60 Minutes. “There are those in the Republican party who think the best thing to do is just to kill reform. That that will be good politics.” — ConservativeAmerican.org’s take: Obama continues to spread the lie (un-checked by most in the media) that republicans are to blame for anything. He knows they are powerless to stop any health reform Obama wants. Obama’s claims simply are false.
ObamaCare Press Conference Lie # 21 7/22/9 At the same press conference President Obama was caught leaving the truth out of his statement on the arrest of one of his friends. From the Associated Press & Yahoo! News: “OBAMA: “I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played in that. But I think it’s fair to say, number one, any of us would be pretty angry; number two, that the Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof that they were in their own home, and, number three, what I think we know separate and apart from this incident is that there’s a long history in this country of African-Americans and Latinos being stopped by law enforcement disproportionately.” THE FACTS: The facts are in dispute between black scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. and the white police sergeant who arrested him at his Cambridge, Mass., home when officers went there to investigate a reported break-in. But this much is clear: Gates wasn’t arrested for being in his own home, as Obama implies, but for allegedly being belligerent when the sergeant demanded his identification. The president did mention that the professor was charged with disorderly conduct. Charges were dropped.” – Pretty amazing that a President of the United States would stoop so low as to call several police officers, not public figures, “stupid.”

John Cornyn, who placed a hold on the nominee…who’s says he’s not convinced that Harvard professor…Sunstein won’t push a radical animal rights agenda, including new restrictions on agriculture and even hunting.…”Sen. Cornyn finds numerous aspects of Mr. Sunstein’s record troubling, specifically the fact that he wants to establish legal ‘rights’ for livestock, wildlife and pets, which would enable animals to file lawsuits in American courts,”

the Republican’s spokesman, Kevin McLaughlin, said in a statement to FOXNews.com. Cornyn’s hold on Sunstein comes just as Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., last week lifted his own hold on the nominee, whom Obama tapped in April to become the administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs at the Office of Budget and Management…Despite his assurances to the contrary, Sunstein has spoken stridently in favor of allowing people the right to bring suit on behalf of animals in animal cruelty cases and to restrict what he calls the more horrific practices associated with industrial breeding and processing of animals for food. In a 2007 speech at Harvard, Sunstein also advocated restricting animal testing for cosmetics, banning hunting and encouraging the general public to eat less meat. The Center for Consumer Freedom’s David Martosko, a Sunstein critic, said those positions make the agricultural industry — major stakeholders in the states represented by both Chambliss and Cornyn — nervous. Martosko said there are plenty of ways to pursue a “stealth campaign” on any one of these fronts — guns or animal rights — by putting pressure on the regulatory heads of the different agencies. “He is the gatekeeper between the president and the secretaries,” he said, noting that “as a regulatory czar, he won’t be a judge or a legislator, so he cannot make laws. … What he can do is nudge the departments in the direction of his philosophy,” which is very much in line with “hard core animal rights zealots.” – - UPDATE: The New York Post says Sunstein has a new book coming out: “Sunstein, a Harvard professor who has been appointed to a shadowy post that will grant him powers that are merely mind-boggling, explicitly supports using the courts to impose a “chilling effect” on speech that might hurt someone’s feelings. He thinks that the bloggers have been rampaging out of control and that new laws need to be written to corral them. Advance copies of Sunstein’s new book, “On Rumors: How Falsehoods Spread, Why We Believe Them, What Can Be Done,” have gone out to reviewers…considering the prominence with which Sunstein is about to be endowed, his worrying views are fair game now…It’s the bland (job) titles (from Obama) that should scare you the most. “Although obscure,” reported the Wall Street Journal, “the post wields outsize power. Obama Apologizes for calling a White Police Officer “Stupid” 7/24/9 – On Wednesday, President Obama took the bizarre and unheard of step of calling a private citizen “stupid” during a nationaly televised press conference. Obama was given the chance Thursday to retract those words against Sgt. James Crowley, but held firm. Friday, he couldn’t stand the heat from his own kitchen and was forced to retract. Of course he waited until Friday, the slowest news day, so no one would really hear that he might actually be sorry for starting a racism fire in the country. Here’s a quote from the Associated Democrat Press, see if you can catch their bias: “He said he continued to believe that the both the officer, Sgt. James Crowley, and Henry Louis Gates, Jr. had overreacted during the incident, but the president also faulted his own comments. “This has been ratcheting up, and I obviously helped to contribute ratcheting it up,” he said. “I want to make clear that in my choice of words, I think I unfortunately gave an impression that I was maligning the Cambridge police department and Sgt. Crowley specifically. And I could’ve calibrated those words differently.” — Did you catch it? They said Obama “continued to believe” that his pal, Mr. Gates, had overreacted. Continued? That’s the first time he was willing to spread some of the blame to his own friend. That’s called “started” not “continued.”

In fact, Emperor Hirohito didn’t even sign the document that finalized the surrender of Japan to General MacArthur. That duty was performed by Japan’s Foreign Minister, Mamoru Shigemitsu, and one of its generals, Yoshijir Mumezu. In fact, we didn’t destroy Japan’s Emperor, rather we allowed him to continue on in a ceremonial role to allow the Japanese to feel as if they hadn’t been entirely crushed and that some of their traditions might live on. So, once again, Obama garbles history, disrespects his own country, and sets us up to be discounted as a viable force by foreign nations. Obama’s discounting of “victory” in Afghanistan is dangerous news for our troops. It signals a man that will not give our troops the support they need to win the war and come home with our pride and safety intact.”
Obama Plans Luxury Vacation while More and More Lose Jobs! 7/26/9 – Blogger “Donna” at “In Her Thoughts” has the story on this one: “The (Martha’s) Vineyard Gazette reported Friday that the first family has leased the Blue Heron Farm, a 28.5-acre spread worth $20 million that offers a pool, golf tee and basketball court, along with a Victorian farm house. A reconstructed Pennsylvania barn and a Vermont shed there date to the 1800s. Reportedly, it’s about $35,000 to $50,000 a week but you get so many perks that it’s really a steal! (stealing from your country!) Besides, wouldn’t the owners give the Obama’s a break seeing as the owners, considering that they’re tax-payers, are footing the bill in a country where the President is trying to make it a third-world country?”

Bush was President, Senator Obama was critical of him for trying to force legislation through congress too quickly! For all the talk from Obama about how awful Bush was, he sure is doing things the same way! “the hypocrisy seems so massive that it is destined to go viral on the Web.” – - From Naked Emporer News comes the transcript: BARACK OBAMA: …When you rush these budgets that are a foot high and nobody has any idea what’s in them and nobody has read them. RANDI RHODES: 14 pounds it was! BARACK OBAMA: Yeah. And it gets rushed through without any clear deliberation or debate then these kinds of things happen. And I think that this is in some ways what happened to the Patriot Act. I mean you remember that there was no real debate about that. It was so quick after 9/11 that it was introduced that people felt very intimidated by the administration.
Team Obama Limits Free Speech!!! 7/28/9 – RUSH LIMBAUGH: By the way, Connie Hair at Human Events reports that House Republicans… are now barred by Democrats on the Franking Commission — that’s in charge of mail — from saying “‘government-run health care’ in the communications with their constituents.” They have to pay for the postage themselves if they want to be able to say “government-run health care.” The Democrats on the Franking Commission have refused the Franking privilege, free mail to constituents, if they use the term “government-run health care.” This is a perfect illustration of the authoritarian — or as Mark Levin calls them, the statist.” — Hints of Fascism from Team Obama.
VP Biden In Trouble For Getting it Right??? 7/28/9 Fox News: “The Obama administration this week was compelled, once again, to explain and defend the vice president after he made some tough comments about Russia. Biden had suggested in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that Russia would have no choice but to cooperate with the United States because it is on the brink of sharp decline. After a rebuke from the Kremlin, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton walked back the remarks. On Monday, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs still defended Biden as an “enormous asset”…But blunt Biden, in committing a truth about Russia, ran afoul of his own advice, which he gave in the very same interview with the Journal. “It is never smart to embarrass an individual or a country when they’re dealing with significant loss of face,” Biden said. “My dad used to put it another way: Never put another man in a corner where the only way out is over you.” After the article was published — “withering” quote and all — Russia seemed to be the man in the corner.

The National Enquirer says Davis “confessed to having sex with children, sadomasochism, bondage and practicing a wide array of deviant sexual activities…In Dreams from My Father, Obama wrote: “He would read us poetry whenever we stopped by his house, sharing whiskey with Gramps out of an emptied jelly jar. Barack Obama tapes his own Racist Rant against Whites!- 1995 – Obama offered a blatantly racist rant about white people ruining world! To be fair, we need to note that the quote he is reading from his book is one he attributes to his controversial pastor that he never listened to, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. What kind of comment is that?! Obama continued, “Uhm, unfortunately I think that recognition requires we make sacrifices and this country has not always been willing to make the sacrifices necessary to bring about a new day and a new age.” His own salvation with God is “tied up” to “SAVING” the African American community?! These are bizarre statements from a confused man. He also made the strange claim that Los Angeles in like Bosnia! In the video below, you will hear him very clumsily say (notice all the “Uh’s), “Because, I think, of the problems that African Americans face in this country, we tend to have a sanitized view in the African American community about what is going on in Africa and the truth of the matter is, is that many of the problems that Africa faces, whether it’s poverty or uh political supression, uh or ethnic conflict uh is just as prominent there and can’t all be blamed on uh the effects of colonialism, uh what it can be blamed on is some of the common factors that effect Bosnia or uh Los Angeles! Or uh all kinds of places on this earth, and that is uh the tendency for one group to try to uh suppress another group uh in, in the interest of power or greed or uh, resources or what have you.” Also notice how even the media critical of Obama seem to “clean up” all of his quotes. He get’s “going to” when he says “gonna” and all of the “Uh’s” are left out.
Obama Lies in ‘Dreams from my Father’ Book Snopes.com says in the book, Obama wrote that his mother dropped him off at a library where he was thumbing through issues of Life magazine. “I came across a photograph of an older man in dark glasses and a raincoat walking down an empty road…the man’s crinkly hair, his heavy lips, and broad fleshy nose all had the same uneven, ghostly hue…the man had received a chemical treatment…to lighten his complexion.” – The only problem according to Snopes is that “no one has yet found any matching article in the pages of Life magazine.” – Maybe it was just a bad dream about Michael Jackson?
Obama Saul Alinsky Training Scandal – The American Thinker: Obama’s early mentor in the “Alinsky Rules for Radicals” [socialist] method was Mike Kruglik, who said of Obama: “He was a natural, the undisputed master of agitation, who could engage a room full of recruiting targets in a rapid-fire Socratic dialogue, nudging them to admit that they were not living up to their own standards. As with the panhandler, he could be aggressive & confrontational. With probing, sometimes personal questions, he would pinpoint the source of pain in their lives, tearing down their egos just enough before dangling a carrot of hope that they could make things better.” The Thinker reported: “The agitator’s job, according to Alinsky, is first to bring folks to the “realization” that they are indeed miserable, that their misery is the fault of unresponsive governments or greedy corporations, then help them to bond together to demand what they deserve, & to make such an almighty stink that the dastardly governments & corporations will see imminent “self-interest” in granting whatever it is that will cause the harassment to cease.” Obama called this being a “Community Organizer!“

Jeremiah Wright Obama Scandal – Obama pledges never to disown his pastor despite Rev. Wright’s anti-American and racist rants. Wright says “G.D. America!” during a service. Days after the news, Obama tosses Wright under the bus along with his white grandmother in a clumsily handled press conference on racial relations.
Since becoming President, Obama has had his former pastor to the White House for a visit!

Emil Jones Obama Scandal – Obama’s political Godfather, the man who taught Obama all he knows, Jones “is known for steering state money to favored institutions, including some that employ his relatives. Several of his relatives have gotten state jobs, & his wife’s government salary jumped 60% after he became Senate president. Obama 2001 Radio Interview Scandal # 1 – Says Supreme Court Should Have Redistributed Wealth from Whites to Blacks! 2001 On WBEZ FM in Chicago, then state senator Barack Obama suggested the supreme court failed the civil rights movement by not “redistributing wealth” after black people were given rights. He thinks the U.S. Supreme Court should have taken money from whites and given it to blacks as part of the civil rights movement!

But back in 2001 On WBEZ FM in Chicago, he said the “Constitution fails because it doesn’t say what government must do on your behalf.” He said Civil Rights leaders failed to bring about “redistributive change” because they lost track of community organizing which he said is how you bring about that change. He said “We still suffer from that (failure).”
Obama 1991 Radio Interview Scandal # 4 – Says Supreme Court Should Bring About Economic Change 1991 On WBEZ FM in Chicago, Obama said “Any thre eof us sitting here could come up with a rationale for bringing about economic change through the courts.” Years before he nominated racist Sonia Sotomayor, who believes she can make better decisions than a white male because she is a “wise Latina woman,” he suggested the nation’s highest court be used to redistribute wealth. This is 17 years before “Joe the Plumber” and he was already talking about redistributing wealth from whites to blacks.

Tony Rezko Obama Scandal – Obama buys a $1.65-million house in a nice neighborhood with help from indicted political fundraiser Tony Rezko and other pals. Rezko buys the lot next door & sells it to Obama for far less than it’s value. Obama admits not handling that one properly. UPDATE 2/9 the Federal Election Commission notified Judicial Watch that Obama had in fact received a deeply discounted home loan (a savings of $108,000) from the other pals at Northern Trust. Not a deal you could get!

Obama covered the tracks to his burglary of the truth by using fictional characters to replace the “real” people in the Altgeld episode. It is no surprise that Sweet reports today Obama was “worried about a pending potentially negative…story.”
Obama’s Family Owned Slaves! 3/4/7 Barack Obama tells a crowd in Selma, Alabama that his father, “came over to this country. He met this woman whose great great-great-great-grandfather had owned slaves; but she had a good idea there was some craziness going on because they looked at each other and they decided that we know that the world as it has been it might not be possible for us to get together and have a child.” The child was Barack Hussein Obama, whose great-great-great-great-great grandfather owned slaves! That’s right, President Obama comes from white family that owned slaves!
Obama Gets History wrong saying the March in Selma resulted in his birth 3/4/7 Barack Obama tells a crowd in Selma, Alabama “There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born. So don’t tell me I don’t have a claim on Selma, Alabama. Don’t tell me I’m not coming home to Selma, Alabama.” The problem is Obama was born in 1961 and the march didn’t happen until 1965.
Obama’s Jack Kennedy Lie- 3/4/7 – The Audacity of Hypocrisy reports, “Obama went on to tell his audience that the Kennedys — Jack and Bobby — decided to do an airlift. They would bring some young Africans over so that they could be educated and learn all about America. His grandfather heard that call and sent his son, Barack Obama, Sr., to America. The problem with that scenario is that, having been born in August 1961, the future senator was not conceived (in America) until sometime in November 1960. So, if his African grandfather heard words that “sent a shout across oceans,” inspiring him to send his goat-herder son to America, it was not Democrat Jack Kennedy he heard, or his brother Bobby, it was Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower.”

Two days later, the “Apple 1984 ad” spoof was revealed to be the creation of a political operative employed by a firm overseeing technology for Obama’s campaign. The Obama campaign later fired the creator (probably after thanking him).
Obama’s Death Toll Gaffe- 5/8/7 – The Audacity of Hypocrisy reports, “(Obama) drastically overstated the Kansas tornadoes death toll, saying 10,000 had died. “In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Obama’s Big Fat Trillion Lie – War on Fat People 12/13/2007 – From FactCheck.org: “Obama: “If we went back to the obesity rates that existed in 1980, that would save the Medicare system a trillion dollars.” Obama got this claim from a “candidate briefing book” put out by the Center for American Progress, a liberal think tank run by former Clinton chief of staff John Podesta. CAP cites the CDC and the Commonwealth Fund as sources for the estimate, but representatives from both organizations told us that the claim was unfamiliar to them. We worked up our own back-of-the-envelope estimate, using official figures. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention officially estimates that obesity cost $75 billion in 2003. The CDC also says that “approximately half” of the cost burden for both overweight and obese people is borne by Medicaid and Medicare. Obesity rates doubled between 1980 and 2000, also according to the CDC. But Obama’s campaign said it could not donate to charity as much as $90,000 in newly acknowledged Rezko-linked contributions because the old campaign accounts were closed and the money spent. James Meeks, who is now a delegate pledged to Obama. “We don’t have slave masters, we got mayors,” Meeks said then while preaching. “But they are still the same white people who are presiding over systems where black people are not able to be educated. You got some preachers that are house n——. You got some elected officials that are house n——. Rather than them try and break this up, they’re gonna fight you to protect that white man.” When confronted in 2006 about his divisive language, Meeks initially defended it. “The word n—– is not, in the African American community, a bad word,” Meeks said. “It’s a term of endearment and I don’t see it as derogatory or offensive. No one will be offended by it, except an individual it applies to,” he added…An Obama spokesperson told CBS 2 Wednesday night: “Sen. Obama has appeared at hundreds of churches and served with scores of colleagues and can hardly be expected to be held responsible for all that they say.” … April 2004 Chicago Sun Times…Another person Obama says he seeks out for spiritual counsel is state Sen. James Meeks, who is also the pastor of Chicago’s Salem Baptist Church. The day after Obama won the primary in March, he stopped by Salem for Wednesday-night Bible study. “I know that he’s a person of prayer,” Meeks says. “The night after the election, he was the hottest thing going from Galesburg to Rockford. He did all the TV shows, and all the morning news, but his last stop at night was for church. He came by to say thank you, and he came by for prayer.”
Obama’s State Senate Records Missing? 3/30/2008 Tom Fitton at Judicial Watch wonders where Obama’s records are from when he served as a State Senator in Illinois. Fitton writes: “During a campaign stop last fall, Obama said he didn’t have any records of his eight years in the Illinois state legislature. “I don’t have — I don’t maintain — a file of eight years of work in the state Senate because I didn’t have the resources available to maintain those kinds of records.” (Apparently they don’t have boxes in Chicago.) However, when questioned on the records by Meet the Press host Tim Russert on November 11, 2007, Obama said: “Well, let’s be clear. In the state Senate, every single piece of information, every document related to state government was kept by the state of Illinois and has been disclosed and is available and has been gone through with a fine-toothed comb by news outlets in Illinois…every document related to my interactions with government is available right now.” Contrast this “version of the truth” with what the Illinois Office of the Secretary of State recently told Judicial Watch, in response to our open records request: “The ISA does not maintain Senator Obama’s personal records or papers. [Nor] does the ISA maintain records generated by his office. In addition, the ISA has received no requests from Senator Obama to archive any records formerly in his possession.””
Obama 4/2/2008 The “Obama What’s The Facts” website says the Indonesian Newspaper Banjarmasin Post sheds light on Obama’s early years. This report suggests that Obama has not accurately reported his early religious education. The paper says , “Barry dulu memang beragama Islam,” meaning “Barry was previously quite religious Islam.” What’s The Facts: “On January 24, the Obama campaign released a statement, saying, “To be clear, Senator Obama has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim, and is a committed Christian who attends the United Church of Christ in Chicago. On March 14th, in a statement to The Times, the Obama campaign offered this statement to correct their previous statement, that appears to be a bold-faced lie: “Obama has never been a practicing Muslim. The statement added that as a child, Obama had spent time in the neighborhood’s Islamic center.” And, the original statement began, “To be clear …” So, in three months, Barrack’s campaign has gone from describing the U.S. presidential hopeful as never having been a Muslim and never having been raised as a Muslim to now never having been a practicing Muslim.”

This NYT article proves he lied as he already answered questions about them in April (of) 2007.” From that NY Times article: “On the Sunday after the terrorist attacks of 9/11, Mr. Wright said the attacks were a consequence of violent American policies. Four years later he wrote that the attacks had proved that “people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just ‘disappeared’ as the Great White West went on its merry way of ignoring Black concerns.” … “A lot of people are going to say to Mr. Obama, are these your views?” Mr. Obama says they are not. “The violence of 9/11 was inexcusable and without justification,” he said in a recent interview. He was not at Trinity the day Mr. Wright delivered his remarks shortly after the attacks, Mr. Obama said, but “it sounds like he was trying to be provocative.”

Obama’s Family Scandal # 1-Broken Promise to Kenya -7/02/08 Evening Standard: Obama promised help for a school in his grandmother’s village but has not given any. “I have said I will assist the school and I will”…although Obama did not say “financial”, “there was no doubt among us [teachers] that is what he meant. We interpreted his words as meaning he would help fund the school, either personally or by raising sponsors or both.” She added 10 of the students are Obama’s relatives…While Obama had a new Rezko house, he let his own grandmother down. Sarah Obama confidently told reporters before his visit: “When he comes down here, he will change the face of the school and, believe me, our poverty in Kogelo will be a thing of the past.” She lives in a “small brick house with no running water, a tin roof and roving chickens.”
Obama’s Lie About His Support of Late Term Abortions and Partial-Birth Abortions 7/5/8 OnTheIssues.org correctly notes, “In 1997, Obama voted in the Illinois Senate against SB 230, a bill designed to prevent partial-birth abortions. In the US Senate, Obama has consistently voted to expand embryonic stem cell research. He has voted against requiring minors who get out-of-state abortions to notify their parents. The National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) gives Obama a 100% score on his pro-choice voting record in the Senate for 2005, 2006, and 2007.” Democrats have continued to claim he never supported partial birth abortion, but that is not accurate. Even Obama’s own “Organizing for America” website admits he voted against a bill that would have prevented partial birth abortions in Illinois: “”There was a bill that came up in Illinois that was called the ‘Born Alive’ bill that purported to require life-saving treatment to such infants. And I did vote against that bill,” Obama said Tuesday. “The reason was that there was already a law in place in Illinois that said that you always have to supply life-saving treatment to any infant under any circumstances, and this bill actually was designed to overturn Roe v. Obama Campaign Tosses American Flags in the Trash! 9/6/2008 Fox News: “John McCain’s campaign prepared to accuse Democrats Saturday of leaving behind 12,000 miniature American flags after Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech last Thursday in Denver. Boy Scouts have arrived with 84 trash bags full of bundles of flags at the site of a McCain rally scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. local time in Colorado Springs.
The campaign says the flags were recovered from Invesco Field after the Democrats concluded their convention there, and they are going to be used as part of the warm-up ceremonies before McCain takes the stage for the rally. FOX News has been told a vendor at Invesco Field found the flags, which were going to be thrown out, and turned them over to the McCain campaign.Veterans in Colorado Springs are expected to distribute the flags to the audience at the rally.”

Candidate Obama Tries to Delay Troop Withdrawal from Iraq! – 09/16/2008 New York POST: Campaigning…for a speedy withdrawal of US troops,…Obama tried in private to persuade Iraqi leaders to delay an agreement on a draw-down of the American military presence. Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari says Obama demanded a delay in July, 2008. “He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington.” Obama insisted Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops – and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its “state of weakness and political confusion.” Though Obama claims the US presence is “illegal,” he suddenly remembered that Americans troops were in Iraq within the legal framework of a UN mandate. His advice was that, rather than reach an accord with the “weakened Bush administration,” Iraq should seek an extension of the UN mandate. Obama has made many contradictory statements with regard to Iraq. His latest position is that US combat troops should be out by 2010. Yet his effort to delay an agreement would make that withdrawal deadline impossible to meet.

Obama Birth Certificate Controversy – Some believe he was born in Kenya, not the USA. That would, of course, make him ineligible to be President. There are many (including me) who do not believe this story is true. Others believe it firmly. Still, why can’t any of the hot shot reporters find out once and for all? UPDATE 7/28/9 Fox News: “State officials in Hawaii on Monday said they have once again checked and confirmed that President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen, and therefore meets a key constitutional requirement for being president. They hoped to stem a recent surge in the number of inquiries about Obama’s birthplace. “I … have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen,” Health Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said in a brief statement. “I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.”

Obama Flip-Flop on Leaving Troops in Iraq- 12/2008 The Audacity of Hypocrisy reports: “On July 28th, (2004) the day after his speech at the Democratic convention catapulted him into the national spotlight, Barack Obama told a group of reporters in Boston that the United States had an “absolute obligation” to remain in Iraq long enough to make it a success.” – “The failure of the Iraqi state would be a disaster,” he said at a lunch sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor, according to an audiotape of the session. “It would dishonor the 900-plus men and women who have already died. . . . It would be a betrayal of the promise that we made to the Iraqi people, and it would be hugely destabilizing from a national security perspective.” In late winter, 2008, on the campaign trail, Obama says he wants to bring the troops home yesterday — you decide — was he lying then or is he lying now?
Obama Senate Seat Scandal # 1 Blagojevich Sells Seat – 12/2008 Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojeich, elected with help from US Senator Barack Obama who said Blago ran “a sound administration”, is arrested for trying to sell Obama’s vacant US Senate seat to the highest bidder. For weeks, Obama basically has no comment. Just before Christmas he announces his staff did nothing improper. Both Obama & Blago also have ties to Tony Rezko.
Obama Appointment Scandal # 2 Susan Rice -12/1/2008 Susan Rice, nominated for UN Ambassador, wants US troops to attack the Sudanese military, to join UN forces on the ground in Darfur, and to enforce a no fly zone over Darfur. Rice is too immature and dangerous to be placed in such a position of authority by Obama, who demonstrates time and time again he is a VERY poor judge of character. Rice is a far left blogger who calls conservatives “hacks” and says she “cussed & spat” when George W. Bush spoke of Iraq. She actually believes George Bush deliberately decided not to protect from terrorists, states which voted democrat! UPDATE: Rice was approved with support from wimpy republicans.
Obama Speechwriter Caught Groping Hillary Clinton! Lack of Class on Display. - 12/5/8 The L.A. Times: “It might have seemed funny during the party. But a photo has surfaced in recent hours of President-elect Barack Obama’s newly-designated chief speechwriter, Jon Favreau, groping a cardboard cutout of the administration’s newly-designated secretary of State, Hillary Clinton…The shot of the 27-year-old writer with his hand on the 60-year-old cardboard senator’s breast reportedly appeared for about two hours on a Facebook page…before disappearing, along with numerous other Favreau pictures, including one of him dancing with the cardboard female secretary-designate. An Obama spokesman says Favreau has apologized to the former first lady, who gave Obama a run for his massive piles of money during the Democratic primaries. The transition official said Favreau has “reached out to Sen. Clinton to offer an apology.” – He should be fired.

Obama Senate Seat Scandal # 2 Rahm-Rod-ing Valerie Jarrett – 12/18/2008 As scandal breaks about filling Obama’s Senate Seat, word leaks out that Obama point man Rahm Emanuel tried to shove Valerie Jarrett down Rod Blagojevich’s throat. With no promised reward for Blago, the Illinois Gov. told the new Prez, “No deal!”
Obama Appointment Scandal # 3 – Robert Gates -12/22/2008 Obama gets in big trouble with Code Pink and MoveOn for keeping Bush Defense Sec. Robert Gates & more than 150 of the 250 political appointees at the Pentagon. Liberals mad at Obama suggest there might not be any change theycan believe in.

Obama Appointment Scandal # 4 Bill Richardson -1/3/2009 Gov. Bill Richardson removes himself from the running to be US Commerce Secretary, supposedly because of an on-going investigation into a possible “pay-for-play” deal in Richardson’s state. However, the Obama camp knew about that before it named him as its nominee to the post. So the real deal is?
Obama Appointment Scandal # 5 Peter Orszag 1/4/9 – While Obama’s plans will create the largest deficit ever, he names another liberal blogger from the Brookings Institution (Rice is the other) who says “budget deficits could trigger a fiscal crisis!” Don’t we already have one?? I guess to Orszag, deficits only matter if a republican is in the White House. Blazing Deficit Hypocrisy! UPDATE 4/18/9: KOA Radio reports: “by 2016 the Obama deficit would reach $8.7 trillion, which is $2.9 trillion more than the deficits racked up by all presidents combined since 1789 (232 years).”
Obama Senate Seat Scandal # 3 Reid Reportedly Says No Blacks – 1/4/2009 The bankrupt Chicago Trib says Harry Reid called Blago to tell him not to appoint 3 different men to the Obama senate seat, all of whom are black. Reid reportedly suggests 2 whites instead. UPDATE 1/6/9: Durbin & Reid refuse to seat Burris, keeping senate a whites only club. UPDATE 1/9/9: The Illinois Supreme Court pulls a King Herod and sent the whole Burris issue back to Pilate (the US Senate) today. The court said no signature is needed by the Illinois secretary of state and the Burris appointment by Blago is valid. More trouble for Harry Reider & the Half Black Prince!UPDATE 1/12/9: At Obama’s command, Reid & Durbin cave, and allow Burris to be seated. UPDATE 1/15/9: Burris seated today. UPDATE 2/19/9: Burris still under attack as some try to oust him.UPDATE 2/24/9: Dick Durbin asks Burris to leave, still going for the whites-only club. Burris says no.
Obama Appointment Scandal # 6 (& possibly Lobbyist Scandal # 1) Leon Panetta – 1/5/2009 Democrats Feinstein & Rockefeller are ticked off Obama not only picked Panetta to run the CIA, but didn’t ask them or tell them before it all hit the media! Another headache for Obama; people on both sides of the aisle say Panetta is unqualified. Panetta was the key advisor when Clinton decided against taking Bin Laden from the Sudanese, ready to hand him over. UPDATE: 2/5/9 Panetta took $700,000 in speaking & consulting fees from bailed out firms and companies doing biz with the government. His “consulting” sounds like lobbying work in the ‘no-lobbyists, I promise’ Obama administration. UPDATE: 2/19/9Panetta sworn in.
Obama Flip Flopped on Capturing Osama Bin Laden January, 2009 – Politico: “During the presidential debates last year, Obama declared that capturing or killing Osama bin Laden “has to be our biggest national security priority.” In his first TV interview after winning the election, he said the terrorist leader was “not just a symbol. He’s also the operational leader of an organization that is planning attacks against U.S. targets,” and that the additional troops being sent to Afghanistan would hunt him down because “capturing or killing bin Laden is a critical aspect of stamping out Al Qaeda.” Bin Laden’s significance to Obama dissipated during the transition. By the time Obama gave another interview in early January, he said killing or capturing bin Laden was not necessary to “meet our goal of protecting America.” A few months later, when he announced his Afghanistan troop surge, he made no reference to the hunt for bin Laden.
Obama Appointment Scandal # 7! Carol Socialist Browner – Obama Administration says being socialist is “Not a Problem.” OMG, you’re kidding right? Nope. Obama spokespal Nick Shapiro says the fact Obama’s pick for Climate Hoax Czar is a Socialist is simply, “not a problem.” That’s it. It certainly is a problem!! And a huge one at that! President Elect Barack Obama intends to lead this nation into Socialism. It worked so well for Europe that it’s “not a problem here.” Gag. Obama Appointment Scandal # 8! Eric Let ‘em Go Holder – Obama picks Eric Holder for Attorney General. Holder was involved in the pardons of Marc Rich and 16 Puerto Rican terrorists. Another lousy pick. Republicans with no guts don’t bother to oppose him. Obama gets praise and glory for appointing a minority (Holder is black), even though Bush got little credit for appointing minorities to cabinet positions. Holder’s law firm represents 17 Gitmo terrorists. Sure will be nice for them when Obama closes Gitmo!

Obama’s Broken National Security Promise – KOA Radio reports Obama promised to conduct no national security business before taking office. However, he “had his advisors from the primarily leftist pacifist group United States Institute of Peace and transition staff (including Ellen Laipson and William Perry) conducting secret, “very, very high-level” meetings in Damascus with Syrian and Iranian officials, according to Jeffrey Boutwell.”
Obama Breaks Promises Before Inauguration – On January 10th, Barack Obama told ABCDEmocrat News he won’t be able to carry out his campaign promises! You mean he lied?!! Now we have to listen to four years of “Obama Lied.” Great.

Geoff Kors, of Equality California said “Appalling. If that’s Obama’s idea of a new day, we are in a lot of trouble.” UPDATE 1/21/09: Warren actually said “Jesus” during the prayer!
Obama Inauguration Scandal # 3 – Obama picks a Muslim “scholar” to speak at his coronation prayer service January 21st who is the leader of a group that federal prosecutors say has ties to terrorists! Yet another instance of Obama befriending terrorists. She is Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America. In July 2008, federal prosecutors in Dallas filed court documents linking her terror group, Hamas, which is hell-bent on the destruction of Israel.

Obama Inauguration Scandal # 5 – KOA Radio reports Obama becomes the first President ever to skip the “Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball, which is held in honor of Medal of Honor recipients, Purple Heart recipients, paralyzed veterans and other military heroes. Obama did, however, find time to attend the Neighborhood Ball, which was filled with Hollywood’s ultra elite.”
Obama Inauguration Scandal # 6 1/20/9 So who paid for Obama’s big party? From Politico and the Wall Street Journal: “Wall Street employees have been the largest single source of private donations, and many of the contributions have been channeled through financial-services executives who have put together bundles of donations worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. “The preponderance of large donors and the fact that so many come from an industry receiving government handouts comes as the president-elect has sought to keep his inauguration free of special interests,” The Journal observed. Bundlers from the financial sector include executives from Citigroup Inc. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc., two firms that have accepted billions of dollars each in bailout money from the federal government.”
Obama Inauguration Mistake - 1/20/9 New York Post: “In the third sentence of his first speech as president, Obama said, “44 Americans have now taken the presidential oath.” The correct number is 43, as Grover Cleveland served twice.”
VP Biden Doesn’t Know Name of Supreme Court Justice!- 1/20/9 – Another Gaffe for Joe Biden. Fox News reports “Biden misspoke when he told a cheering crowd of supporters, “Jill and I had the great honor of standing on that stage, looking across at one of the great justices, Justice Stewart.” Justice John Paul Stevens — not Stewart — swore Biden in as vice president.”
Obama Broken Promise on Iraq War #1 – Jan. 21, 2009 -On his first full day in office, Obama breaks a promise he made in July, 2008. Fox News reports Obama said he would hold a full cabinet meeting his first day to set a new course to get out of Iraq. He did not hold the meeting & instead plans to get troops out of Iraq “in good time” while adding to forces in Afghanistan!
Obama: Do as I say, not as I do – Jan. 21, 2009 – KOA Radio reports David Axelrod says Obama likes to be warm and keeps the oval office so hot you could grow tropical plants in there! Odd, considering On May 19, 2008, Obama chided Americans that it is wrong for them to keep their thermostats on 72 degrees and stated, “That’s not leadership. That’s not going to happen.”
Obama Executive Orders Scandal – Jan. 22, 2009 – Obama demonstrates he’s not ready for prime time as he signs executive orders, but has to ask his attorney what they actually say! How can you, in good faith, sign an executive order when you don’t know what it says!! Greg Craig had to help the President. Remember when they said Bush was too dumb to be president and Dick Cheney was actually doing the work? Maybe President Obama is too dumb & Greg Craig is actually doing the work!
Obama’s Secretary of State Unconstitutional? Appointment Scandal #9 – Jan. 22, 2009 -With no objections from wimpy republicans, HIllary Rodham Clintonis sworn in as Sec. of State. Her senate vote increasing the pay for the Sec. of State made her ineligible for the position according to Article 1 Section 6 of the US Constitution.
Obama Lobbyist Scandal # 2 William Lynn – Jan. 22, 2009 – A US Senate committee puts the nomination of William Lynn to be deputy defense secretary on hold. It seems he breaks the brand new Obama Administration Rules just set up the day before! Obama promised no former lobbyists would serve in his administration. That would rule Lynn out. Obama’s press team says rules are made to be broken! UPDATE: Obama administration says it’s in “the public interest” to grant Lynn a waiver!!! So all the other lobbyists hired in the past were hired against “the public interest???” UPDATE: Lynn gets approval without any trouble 2/11/9. UPDATE 2/25/2010: CNN, a year later, realizes this is a bit of hypocrisy!
Reuters reports: “President Barack Obama promised Pope Benedict on Friday that he would do everything possible to reduce the number of abortions in the United States, the Vatican said.” – Days after the meeting, the Obama Health Care Takeover is announced. By not including language to remove abortion from coverage, the ObamaCare plan includes the so-called “Freedom of Choice Act,” which undoes ever advance the Pro Life crowd has made since 1973. It wipes out parental notification and will increase the number of abortions in the United States…meaning Obama lied to the Pope. 
Fox & Friends reports that White House Economic Sleeper Larry Summers actually woke up to see how the economy was doing. When he did, he went online and checked what the popular google searches were. Learning that “economic depression” was not searched as much as in the past, he stated the economy is improving! Okay Larry, you can go back to sleep now. 
From UPI & the New York Times: “White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel told The New York Times Obama intends to use the news conference as a “six-month report card,” to talk about “how we rescued the economy from the worst recession.” – Well, that’s good news! We’ve all be rescued now and the recession is over. Rahm apparently doesn’t get out much.

tee and basketball court, along with a Victorian farm house. A reconstructed Pennsylvania barn and a Vermont shed there date to the 1800s. Reportedly, it’s about $35,000 to $50,000 a week but you get so many perks that it’s really a steal! (stealing from your country!) Besides, wouldn’t the owners give the Obama’s a break seeing as the owners, considering that they’re tax-payers, are footing the bill in a country where the President is trying to make it a third-world country?”
