“E online” now is out with a piece trashing Governor Sarah Palin. They quote a Linda Mann, president of Mann Media, as saying the conservative American Palin has “car wreck appeal.” Mann says “You’re compelled to watch HOPING she’ll say the dumbest things possible.” At least she is honest, unlike most of her counterparts in the media.

We agree that Palin has “car wreck” appeal. If she were in your town, so many fans would turn out to see her that it would cause traffic jams and perhaps even car wrecks! E online also says people are just begging to write a book with Sarah Palin. That’s because they know when a conservative American puts out a book about conservative Americans, they sell like crazy!

There’s no such thing as bad advertising. Let them keep talking about Sarah Palin. We will too. We have to work with her to make sure this idea of her not being smart enough to handle the job is shot down. When we do that, she will be a person who can unite people of all parties and not a divider like Hillary Clinton.

Gov. Sarah Palin’s spokeswoman, Meghan Stapleton, has had enough. 

So finally we’re not the only ones in American sticking up for Sarah Palin.  Apparently John McCain, through is silence in not defending Palin, may be indicating he is a bitter man.  His campaign staff is blaming Palin for their own defeat.  These delusional people still think their path to a republican victory was as populist centrists.  They don’t have a clue that, in a time when the democrat candidate should win easily because of the economy, the only reason McCain even came close was because of Sarah Palin. McCain is what held them back, not Palin. 

To show my own support, I just ate lunch at Applebee’s and had a chocolate “Moose Shooter” for dessert!

Another radio interview from 2001 in Chicago has surfaced that is causing Barack Obama some trouble today.  In the 7-year-old interview Obama says the US Supreme Court has not done a good job because it has not redistributed wealth to the poor from those who work!  OMG…this is amazing.  This guy is an unapologetic socialist on his way to the White House with the blessing of the democrat socialist party media.  They don’t report on it.  Will the main stream media report this story today?  Fox News is. 

I’m not at all certain 8 days gives the McCain campaign enough time to expose this guy.  Why haven’t they done this months ago?  McCain has not been tough enough and that is why he is behind in the polls.  This “win in the middle” strategy of his is bullogna.  Check out this link to hear Obama say it is the government’s role to create jobs and that he personally will not be saved and go to heaven unless he saves the nation by making it more “fair” for african americans.  This guy is nuts.

There’s even a rumor going around that Barack Obama was not born in the USA and therefore is not eligible to run for President.  No one has been able to find any proof to back this claim up though.

Could it be enough?  Could McCain get this out there on time in a manner that people will believe?  At this late point, even presented with facts, many Americans will say the republicans are just making this stuff up…or that these are just hateful attacks from a desperate McCain. 

There also was more coverage today of Sarah Palin telling her handlers to jump in a lake.  That also is too late.  They have ruined her political future unless she can either win this election or in the next 8 days manage to get rid of this “bimbo” label the democrat socialist media has given her.  Keep trying Sarah, many of us are out here for you!

John McCain is Forgetting Sarah…And the Economy. First the economy. Can we step back a moment and look at this current economic fiasco? Some things trouble me about this. Are we supposed to “trust” congress that this huge economic failure just showed up late one Thursday afternoon and had to be solved by Monday morning or else? C’mon. There is no way for a huge business to fail in a day and for everyone to be shocked. Even those seeking media attention now are saying, oh they knew about this for years, or they tried to do something about this years ago, etc., etc. So why was everyone so quiet about it if it truly was this huge deal? Perhaps they didn’t want the country to panic…so, they just did…nothing?!!

Now the white house and congress are trying to tell us the Economic Sky is Falling. Nancy Chicken Little Pelosi thinks Americans are so stupid that she can get away with blaming the republicans for the bailout bill failing, when at the same time she told more than one dozen democrats (all facing tough elections) to vote NO on the bill! The days of smoke-filled backroom deals like this going unreported are over, Nancy. Maybe you missed the memo. She is such a fraud! She knew this bill would not pass and brought it up for a vote anyway. Why? Because she knew the market would crash and she and her socialist pals could blame the nasty republicans and reporters would be quick to put their little sound bites all over the media. It is bold to suggest the Speaker of the House actually wanted the markets to dive. But what other explanation is possible? She wanted to be able to blame the other party so she can help Barack the Obaminable Snowed-Man get into the white house and pay her back. To sacrifice more than $1-Trillion in stock market earnings just to gain power, shows each of us how awful things are in Washington D.C. No wonder no one trusts congress! The timing of this Surprise Economic Meltdown (not actually a surprise to those in the know) is quite interesting given the pending election. This whole situation does not pass the smell test. One democrat was out there blaming the republicans and Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson today. Paulson is not a conservative American.

So what now? We’re supposed to let the government spend billions, they tell us, to buy “bad” loans from banks. This will give the banks money to lend to other people, relieving the credit crunch, and saving us all from the big surprise that the sky is falling. They tell us, “Trust us, we know best.” Even though they created this mess. They say, “Americans will get this money back. These are not defaulted loans, these are loans on which payments are being made.” Okay, so they’re not really bad loans? They were just given to people who should not have been given the loan? But those people are still making the payments, right? Hmmm. Hello, Washington? We don’t trust you guys! Oh, but Senator Johny “Maver-D-ick” McCain is different. He’ll put on his super-hero cape, forgetting Sarah Palin off to the side, and fly back to Washington to save us all! Oh yippee. He’s above all this see, he’ll stop his campaign and skip the debates…. oh wait,….just kidding about that. What a fraud and an idiot (see our earlier posting on that).

Something will be passed. They key for us will be to see how much conservatism we can force into the final bill. Can we get a decrease or elimination of capital gains taxes? Can we get a phased-in elimination of Fannie Mae, Tammy Faye and Freddie Mac? Let’s phase them out entirely. Can we get rid of the Clinton-Reno doctrine requiring lending institutions to give out loans to people who do not qualify? Are we going to let those who default on loans keep their homes while punishing those who did things right by having them pay for the homes of those others?

The President and the Congress have created a media frenzy and a market panic with their Chicken Little Sky is Falling song. A bill will be passed to ATTEMPT to prevent this from becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. Key word; attempt.

No one is telling us they know for certain that any of this will work! Will this help? Will it fix anything? Will it somehow be better than doing nothing at all? I’m not convinced. Everyone says they want change (thus the Obaminator’s slogan) and they don’t like congress. The problem is they all like their own congressman and no one is voted out. Maybe all these media-craving politicians should just go home (and stay home for good) and leave us alone. How about we replace them all? This is the time we need a true conservative American in the white house.

Forgetting Sarah

Unfortunately all we have is Barack Obama and Johnny McCain’t. Have you noticed how they (McCain & Company) are watering down Sarah Palin? You can see it in her face. She is faking it at times to go along with McCain. They are “training” her to mirror McCain and abandon all this conservative crap. McCain truly is an idiot for doing this. She gave him his only bump in the polls. She gave him his only bump in the campaign bank account. She should be the presidential candidate, not the VP choice. So rather than use her popularity to ride into the white house, he is out there apologizing for her “mis-steps” when she speaks from her heart. Don’t sell your soul, Sarah. We need you. P.S. – Yes, we should take our military into Pakistan if we need to. You are right. Stand by it. I hate to see this McCain Man of La Middle destroy what we love about you! Please, just be YOU on Thursday night, Sarah Palin.

“Two great tastes that taste great together!”

Sarah Palin reminded us last night of someone. It took a mere second to realize who; Ronald Reagan. Palin was not afraid of criticism and faced it head on with a smile, just like Reagan did. Palin spoke to mid-America not coastal liberals, just like Reagan . She spoke with intelligence AND using words all can understand, just like Reagan . She took a huge political risk (especially for a newcomer to the national stage) and improvised on her speech, just like Reagan would do. When she noticed the Hockey Moms for Palin signs, she interrupted her talk and joked that the only difference between a Hockey Mom and Pit Bull was lipstick! The crowd loved it. She showed we don’t always have to be so serious, we can take time to laugh. She was proud of how great America is, just like Reagan. She saw a future where America could be even greater, just like Reagan. She stood up for conservative values like smaller government, lower taxes, state’s rights, the right to life, and more… just like Reagan did.

John McCain likes to say he was pals with Reagan. I met the late US Senator Lloyd Bentsen once. Stealing his famous words, Mr. McCain, you’re no Ronald Reagan. I have to give him credit though for picking Sarah Palin even if he did do it just to get the donations coming in and to energize conservatives like us.

I was worried John McCain would kill conservatism completely if he won. She won’t let him. She seemed to invent a new conservatism last night. People down the line will be called “Palin Conservatives.” Her comments hinted at a caring (I won’t say ‘compassionate’) conservative, the same kind of values held by most Americans. Soon there will be another group of people we hear about (just like Reagan did) called “Palin Democrats.”

She electrified the GOP and gave the democrat-socialists pause to think about the man they have nominated.

She appealed to, and excited all women (regardless of party) who have ever had a child or looked at a small child with a twinkle in their eye. We have all noticed how pro-abortion, pro-“choice” women seem to have faces that show anger, pain, hatred, discomfort and the tired lines of a difficult life, the lines of a woman who appears older than she actually is. We also notice how pro-life, anti-abortion women who thank God for the sanctity of human life seem to have faces that show happiness, laughter, love, joy and the softness of someone you want a hug from. Sarah Palin has that face. It’s a winning face and it could someday be the face of the first female president of the United States.
