USA: Land of Dynasties?

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008

When this whole party started, we didn’t want anymore Kings, Queens or royal families. We did have a President Adams early in our history who had a son that also became President. Then we had a Roosevelt in office so long, we set up term limits. For most of my lifetime, we have had royal families.

BUSH ROYALTY

George H.W. Bush was an ambassador, ran the CIA and then became Vice President under Ronald Reagan. After years in governmental leadership positions, he set up an office in the White House. After 8 years, it was his turn for four more years. Then his son took an 8-year turn. For 20 of the last 28 years, we have had a Bush Royal Family member in the White House. That’s too long. It’s too long for either party to have one family in office. It’s long enough for them to become almost royal. Jeb Bush ws governor down in Florida, might run for US Senate and probably wants to be President someday. Like him or not, that would not be a good idea. That’s enough time for one family. And one of Jeb’s sons, the one H.W. called “the colored one” could have a political future as well.

CLINTON ROYALTY

Billy Bob Clinton ran the White House for 8 years that were among the best economic years we have ever had. He benefited, of course, from Ronald Reagan’s economic policies and tax cuts, but don’t try to tell a democrat that. Once they got a taste of that power, they also did not want to let go. Suddenly they took up a New York residence and pretended to be happily married. Then, with her only qualification being that she married a guy who became President, she became a US Senator. The Clinton Royalty was back in D.C. She was nearly the democrat nominee for President in 2008. Now she stands ready to be in the White House often as the Secretary of State for perhaps 8 years. That will, no doubt, be followed by another run for the Presidency. This is another example of a family that has found tremendous power and has had it so long, it has almost become royalty. Soon the young Miss Clinton will be a candidate for something, somewhere. Enough of this family too.

KENNEDY ROYALTY

The Kennedy’s re-invented royalty in the USA (Camelot). The bought it and stole it. We all know about President John F. Kennedy, then brother Bobby Kennedy. Then Ted Kennedy who drove his political future over a bridge one evening ruining his chances of ever becoming President like his big brother. This family has had tons of power in Washington for more than 45 years now. That’s enough. The Royal Kennedy’s need to respect the wishes of our founders and be done now. Caroline Kennedy now wants to be US Senator. She could take the royal chair of the royal Hillary in the US Senate. That way, if Senator Ted should succomb to cancer, the Kennedy family can still run the Senate. Her qualifications? Far less than those of Sarah Palin, but she will be accepted quickly because of her name, and her coastal liberal status. Katie Couric won’t be asking Caroline what newspapers she reads every day. “And what was the cover story this morning Caroline?” Though she has no qualifications, Charles H. F. Hubris Gibson won’t be telling Caroline it takes a lot of Hubris to think she is qualified to be a US Senator. Gibson dare not, afterall Kennedy is royalty in the USA.

GORE ROYALTY

Usually we use the term Royal Pain in the ___ for Al Gore, but in this case, we are talking about purple royalty. First his Daddy, then him in the US Senate. Then the White House for 8 years as Royal VP for Royal Billy Bob. He was nearly elected president, but lost fair and square to George W. Bush, another Royal. Seeing a trend here? Gore will not have the honor of his Royal family ignored though and took off on an artificially green horse to ride to save the planet! In reality, Gore’s plan is just a method to fund a massive tax increase to pay for “the earth” which can then be used to create new democrat party government agencies who’s only real purpose is to elect democrats. The monster he would create would be akin to Fannie Mae, Tammy Faye and Freddie Mac. Let’s hope he sits his royal butt down and leaves us alone. We can only hope that for about another month. The Office of the President Elect has promised Gore that he’ll be getting power again soon. Obama has learned he must kiss the royals to win anything. He made a deal with dark side Royal Clintons to win the White House and now has made a deal with the Green Side Royal Gore’s as well.

INSTEAD OF ROYALTY…

How about some new people running for office with names we have not heard of before? How about a woman named Rosemary L. Staufowski from somewhere in the middle of New Mexico? Or why not a man named Anthony J. Kartenmoore from Livonia, Michigan or something? I’ll bet if these people existed they might have an idea or two that would be worth listening to.

With all the mess in Illinois politics, they also have Royal families of the Kingdom of Lincoln. These include the Madigans and the Daleys.

We don’t need royalty in the USA remember? So, in 2012 we don’t want to see any Gore’s, Clinton’s, Bush’s or Kennedy’s on the ballot anywhere. And how about no Madigans or Daleys for governor in Illinois either, Okay?

Palin’s image puts her at Disadvantage?

From the Official Sarah Palin Fan Club  -  By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

Twin Cities.com has a very interesting post from David Paul Kuhn of the Politico that questions if Sarah Palin will be a “Ronald Reagan” or a “Dan Quayle.” Kuhn writes,

“Only 45 percent of Americans hoped Palin is a major national political figure for many years to come. About three-quarters of Republicans hoped so, three-quarters of Democrats hoped not, as did 53 percent of independents. Exit polls also showed that 64 percent of independents viewed Palin as unqualified to be president, with nine of ten Democrats and one in four Republicans agreeing. “Palin’s image, being the way it is for independents, puts her at a distinct disadvantage from a…

Conservative Americans Have Work to Do

Friday, November 28th, 2008

By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

Some of our reports make it to other websites. Some of that happens because we share (like ireport.com) and other times because people “borrow” our stuff. From time to time I check the comments on those other sites. I am amazed to see how many people think the terms “conservative” and “republican” are interchangeable. It is frightening and it makes the job we have a far larger one. Let’s be clear: the terms conservative and republican are not interchangeable.

It would be a good thing if all republicans were conservative. However this is not the case. We have much work to do as Conservative Americans. Some of the comments people left about our posts suggest that conservative core beliefs were tried by President Bush! No, they are not kidding. They believe Bush was a conservative. No, I have no idea how that is possible. Bush tried nothing conservative. Bush was a big government, huge spending moderate republican. Bush was not a conservative. If people really think that republican means conservative and conservative means republican, we have a ways to go in explaining ourselves.

On the right of our site you’ll see the word “categories” and a drop down box below it. You’ll notice that we categorize a few people as conservatives, some as DRINO’s (democrats or republicans in name only…we make no distinction here between the two), some as Dems, Libs & Socialists and some as Republicans. There is a very good reason we do not call our site ConservativeRepublican.org. The republican party has distanced itself from conservatism on purpose. We are Conservative Americans, and that is why we chose our website name. We would like the party to return to our core beliefs and values as traditional American conservatives (Read more about what a Conservative American believes here). But make no mistake, this has NOT happened yet.

As conservatives, we are frustrated that John McCain, a DRINO, was the republican party’s nominee. Every republican should have known there was trouble ahead when at the convention of the republican party, McCain said none of this was about being republican, it is about putting country first. *Gag* Translation: You guys go screw yourselves, I won and this party is heading way over to the left. It was only after he realized how badly he was losing that he picked a rising star conservative, Sarah Palin, as his running mate. She drew larger crowds than he did. She created excitement, he did not. She brought fundraising success, he did not. Is there a message here? YES!! For God’s sake, YES!! People crave conservatism, even if they don’t call it that.

We don’t want the republican party, the GOP, to be taken over by DRINO’s, democrats, moderates, centrists or populists. The 2008 election showed what happens when the republican candidate sounds like a democrat; the republican loses. So, it needs to be our turn now. Conservatives need to be put in charge of this party immediately.

STEP 1 - Saul Anuzis should be named head of the Republican National Committee. We need an unapologetic conservative in this position who will not go center on us after his appointment.

STEP 2 - So-called republicans who choose to be moderate, centrist, populist, RINO’s need to be shown the door. No campaign funds from the party for these folks. They had their chance and they lost. They voted for the bailouts and they need to be shown the door. Get them out, the sooner the better. Get them to resign now and make sure conservatives are named to take their places. Don’t vote for more bailouts. Don’t vote for things that contradict what we believe.

STEP 3 - Tell Americans the republican party moved away from its traditional conservative values and that we realize this was a mistake

What is a Conservative?

Saturday, November 15th, 2008

By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

People toss around terms like liberal and conservative, but do we all know what these terms mean? What does a conservative American believe? What does it mean to be conservative? Why should we support conservatives?

Many people think of “conservative” as a dirty word, almost a fringe element of politics, thanks to a few goofballs in the public and a whole bunch of democrats in the media. Let’s set the record straight. Conservatives are not mean. Conservatives don’t hate other people based on race, sexual orientation or religion. Conservatives don’t want to convert everyone to Christianity or force God on anyone.

Conservatives believe things you believe. We share your values. Like you, we think the United States of America is the greatest nation on earth. So what does it mean to be conservative? Below is a list of 14 core values of conservatives. You might be surprised to learn you are a conservative afterall!

What the Conservative American believes in, values we share with you:

  • Lower taxes – on you, your neighbors and the businesses you own or work for.
  • Smaller government – not just eliminating scheduled spending increases, but finding failing and unnecessary government programs to eliminate completely, perhaps even eliminating entire federal departments. Fiscal responsibility.
  • Less Government Regulation – Government needs to find ways to help employers, not hinder their ability to succeed. Unnecessary laws should be eliminated. “Government is not the answer to our problems, government is the problem.” – Ronald Reagan
  • The Strongest Military in the World – the best people, technology, strategies and equipment providing peace through strength and wisdom. Providing security for our nation and our people.
  • Honoring the Military – most pay levels for the military are substantially out of date and too low. This is one area where the conservative American believes we should increase spending. Let’s double the pay given to our enlisted men and women, increase other wages and benefits, and take better care of our injured veterans. Let’s show these brave and unselfish people how grateful a nation can be.
  • Energy Independence – Drill for oil on US territory now. Drill off shore, just far enough where the platforms can’t be seen from the mainland. Drill in Alaska, Drill in the Gulf. Find oil right here. Mine Coal. Encourage new coal power plants with clean coal technology. We want clean air, water and land, but we don’t believe in the theory of global warming and we know that people are part of nature too. We don’t want public schools used to further political agendas like global warming and socialism. We believe in working with those who can help protect the environment, but who also realize we must use our own resources of coal and oil. Let private industry research and develop wind power, solar power and other methods of generating electricity. Let the private sector determine if there is a way to make these methods work in the USA. If so, they will proceed with these ventures.
  • A USA that is the Most Prosperous Country on Earth – a nation of people who make us an economic superpower. A nation that offers the freedom to dream your own unique dream, to act on those dreams and to enjoy the fruits of your labors, a bountiful harvest. American ingenuity, creativity and prosperity that leads to charity, and people helping each other. Free market capitalism without socialist bailouts and government meddling.
  • Freedom – Freedom is our greatest gift to each other, a treasure paid for and maintained by our military, freedom to speak our minds, to bear arms and to pursuit life, liberty and happiness.
  • Patriotism – we are free to disagree loudly on policies, decisions, laws and issues but beneath all of that is a bedrock belief in the goodness of the USA. We are not the bad guys.
  • A Free & Fair Media – we believe in a nation where various sides to an issue are heard and presented, where the media consumer is not mislead into a pre-conceived conclusion based on a political motivation and on the belief that what they have seen is “news” and therefore must be true. We believe in media as a watchdog to ensure government’s goodness without jeopardizing national security
  • Courts of, and for the People – a judicial system that does not include judges legislating from the bench and countless frivolous lawsuits. Judges appointed who will strictly interpret the Constitution and not make judgments based on other nations, Hollywood, or polling data.
  • Free & Fair Elections – national photo identification requirements, purple finger one vote for each methods, private voting free of intimidation.
  • The Sanctity of Human Life – protecting all citizens from the moment of conception until life’s natural end, eliminating abortion and protecting the elderly.
  • The Awesome Power of God – We are a proud nation with a rich history based on our Constitution. We are a nation founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs and we don’t apologize for that. It is these same beliefs that have caused us to welcome people of all faiths to join us in America where we celebrate freedom of (not freedom from) religion. We believe God has blessed the USA and has entrusted many gifts to us.

Pro Abortion President

Monday, November 10th, 2008

In perhaps the greatest moment of sadness since 1973 for the Pro-Life movement, the nation elected Barack Obama to take office in January. We will have a pro-abortion president who does not believe the US Constitution’s right to LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness applies to all people. Even though pictures like the one here make it so clear that life in a mother’s womb is a real human life, not a tissue mass, he does not want to offer these people the right to LIFE. He will swear to uphold and defend the constitution, but only for some Americans.

Obama has said that he can only achieve salvation in his life if he “saves” the USA. I’m not making that up. The actions he will take to sustain and promote abortion will not get him on any fast track to salvation.

Obama will pay back all of his pro-abortion supporters rapidly. CBS news is reporting (with glee) that Obama is expected to almost immediately reverse… (more…)

NOW they want Palin??!!

Friday, November 7th, 2008

So all of the sudden now, Oprah “wants” to talk to Sarah Palin??!!!!  Give us a break.  Memo to Sarah Palin: tell Oprah that she and her “all about the O” candidate can spend time talking to each other.  Go on her show in six months or so, to keep your name out there.  Do some studying, learn how to crush the democrat party media division as Ronald Reagan did.  You can do that. We believe in you!

Larry King also wants to talk with Palin.  Larry who?  Is he still alive? Take his call and ask him to let you now if he has a radio show or TV show or who he is, first of all.  Then tell him no.  Do his show in a year or so, on your timeline, to achieve your goals…not theirs.  They need you now.  You don’t need them right now. If you can handle viewing an awful picture of Barbara Walters, click to read more of this story. (more…)

Fairness Doctrine Debate

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

Let’s have the debate about the Fariness Doctrine.  Add your comments below!

To talk about “media” and “fairness” in the same sentence brings a chuckle to any conservative American.  There simply is no such thing on CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, BET, MSNBC, and on and on.  As we all know it was Ronald Reagan who tossed aside the so-called “fairness doctrine,” which was anything but fair.

Let’s back up just a moment and remember that the democrat socialists who name these things are always looking for methods to ensure and grow their own power.

Death of Weekly Standard

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008

By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

With the never-ending talk of Reagan conservatism being dead by Fred Barnes on Fox News and his pal Bill Kristol adding that there now is a sort of new conservatism that isn’t so far to the right, these two parked their magazine’s car right in the center of the political parking lot.

Newt Gingrich also quit talking about Ronald Reagan conservatism and joined this new conservative nonsense, So Bill and Fred were not alone. They all had their chance yesterday with John MaverDick McCain. Yesterday’s election results were a sound victory for Barack Obama who had moved to the center of the political lot to win the election. It also was a sound defeat for the nonsense about throwing Ronald Reagan style conservatism under the bus and going with this kinder, centrist, populist “new conservative” junk. If they leave their magazine in that parking spot, they may be in for some bad circulation news. (more…)

Barack Obama’s America

Wednesday, November 5th, 2008
Obama's America (from www.ConservativeAmerican.org)

Obama's America (from www.ConservativeAmerican.org)

Barack Obama’s America could really be the USSA, the United Socialist States of America.

By Peter Andrew ConservativeAmerican.org

Remember when Peter Jennings could not believe that Americans had elected a republican and he said the nation had collectively thrown a “fit!” Well, this time the democrat socialist party media got what they wanted; the first half black biracial president-elect in our nation’s history.

If he follows through on his promises (and they will start backing off of those pledges today), Obama will be just another George Bush! Now that’s probably something you have not heard before. It will be like a 3rd Bush term (since he liked to say that so much) because Obama, like Bush, will take this country down a slippery road to Socialism.

He’ll do that by taking from those who work hard and earn decent wages in order to spread the wealth to others, certainly something that is socialist. It is Barack’s Robin Hood Economics plan. Obama must have been standing on his head when he came up with his nonsensical “Trickle Up” theory of economics too. He is absolutely wrong when he says Ronald Reagan’s trickle down economics failed. The policies and tax cuts enacted by the Reagan administration created the booming economy that was around when Billy Bob Clinton was president. I am afraid that Barack Obama’s anti-business rhetoric and his talk of having more and more people work for the government and depend on the government for more and more, is a huge step in the wrong direction.

It will take a Conservative American to clean up after an Obama presidency.

Read my Lips: Three Letters

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

Thanks to Joe Biden, we can laugh again today.  Today he said it was all about a “three letter word: Jobs…J-O-B-S.”  Do you want to count again?  Notice the media doesn’t Bork him though, or turn him into Dan Quayle.  What a Bias bunch of frauds they all are.  Barack Robin Hood Obama is in trouble today for not telling the truth about ACORN on last night’s debate according to Fox News.

Rush Limbaugh today said some conservative media hot shots trying to make a name for themselves are tossing their party, their candidate and their ideals under the bus.  Rush was talking mainly about Fred Barnes and Bill Kristol who want some new kind of conservatism that abandons the Ronald Reagan approach.

To be clear, ConservativeAmerican.org does NOT want Obama to win this election.  The only choice we have is to elect John McCain.  That is what we, as conservative Americans, must do.  However, we can certainly plug our noses when doing it.  I’m not at all certain the Republican party is my party anymore.  There are too many wimps, especially in the US Senate, preventing us from getting a conservative agenda moving forward.  We don’t feel we are throwing our party or our party’s candidate under the bus when we blast McCain.  He’s no conservative American and he’s no conservative candidate.  He has made that clear.  Just so WE are clear though, McCain must be elected.  The media’s new theme is “it’s over for McCain” … even though no election has been held yet.  They already are parading their electoral maps out to show how a McCain win is not possible.  Gag.

We will continue to stand up for traditional American conservative values and we will not be shy about poinnting out those in either of the existing major parties who are no friends of conservatism.
