By Peter Andrew – ConservativeAmerican.org – Truth always defeats manipulation.
If it ever had a collective mind, the editorial board at the USA Today has misplaced it. They write in today’s edition that this shutdown of the federal government is all the republicans fault! Here’s our open letter to that board:
USA Today writes: “In this case, however, the “they’re all bums” reaction is off-base. This shutdown, the first in 17 years, isn’t the result of two parties acting equally irresponsibly. It is the product of an increasingly radicalized Republican Party…”
ConservativeAmerican.org says: There is some truth to saying they’re all bums. It can just as easily be said this shutdown is the product of an increasingly radicalized left wing of the Democrat party.
USA Today writes: The republican party is, “…controlled by a disaffected base that demands legislative hostage-taking in an effort to get what it has not been able to attain by the usual means: winning elections.”
ConservativeAmerican.org says: That’s a very untruthful claim. The republicans did win elections and regained control in many state governments and regained control of the U.S. House of Representatives. The party is using those winning election results to exercise its power to be a check and balance on the ruling left wing radicals like the white-black President Obama and (the angry and grumpy looking) Harry Reid. The American people do not want ObamaCare. The republicans are serving as an effective check and balance on the law which only democrats approved. This is how our republic was designed. Democrats love checks and balances when they are the minority power, but suddenly the democrat editorial board at USA Today finds them inconvenient. Never before has such an entitlement program been created without bipartisan support. The legislative hostage-taking was done by the democrat party when they controlled everything and rammed the ObamaCare Nightmare down our throats against the will of the people and without a single republican vote.
USA Today writes: “Call it the Tea Party shutdown. The group will wear the badge proudly. Pressed by this uncompromising fringe, Republicans leaders in the House are making demands that are both preposterous and largely unrelated to budgetary matters in return for keeping government running. Most absurdly, they want President Obama to undermine the health care law that he ran on in 2008 and 2012, and now considers his signature domestic accomplishment.”
ConservativeAmerican.org says: I can’t believe this board honestly believes this garbage. We suggest the name “the Socialist-Democrat shutdown” and we know you won’t even acknowledge such a badge. The phrase, “uncompromising fringe” is a flat out lie! This so-called uncompromising Tea Party abandoned what it really wanted which was total defunding of the ObamaCare Nightmare. They caved in and decided to ask ONLY for what President Obama has already given to his pals in business (you know, the same Wall Street fat-cats you people on the editorial board claim to hate). The Tea Party gave up its demand and compromised, asking only for a one-year delay in starting ObamaCare. That IS compromise. Compromise takes two however, and the democrat fringe was not willing to take part. Dictatorship you see, only takes one. It certainly is just as “preposterous” for the President to “most absurdly” claim that since he is President, he should not have to negotiate on anything and should not compromise even one little inch. Like it or not, the Republicans DID WIN ELECTIONS and now control the U.S. House. The spoiled little brat-President must now learn to play nice with others. He is childish though and simply refuses. The editorial board chooses to ignore the fact this health care law was enacted against the will of the people. Oh, and we’re not concerned with the President having a “signature domestic accomplishment.”
USA Today writes: “No president of either party could accept that kind of badgering.”
ConservativeAmerican.org says: Another lie. Presidents in both parties have frequently compromised with a minority party to make things work for the American people. But this simply is not something Dictator Obama is willing to do. He must have things 100% his way or he is taking his toys and making the WWII vets go home. Obama has declared a sort of ‘war’ with the World War II vets by attacking their right to visit the memorial to them! The child-leader.
USA Today writes: “The public rebelled, and Gingrich backed down.” (in the 1990’s)
ConservativeAmerican.org concludes: And the public has rebelled again. The public elected members of the Tea Party to eliminate ObamaCare. (Note that even your editorial doesn’t claim to call it the “affordable” care act). Only this time, the Gingrich in the story — Barack Hussein Obama — isn’t willing to back down.
