What Obama Can Learn from 9 11
President Barack Obama could learn a great deal from former President George W. Bush. As I remember the terrible terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001 today, I’m also reminded of the chilling words from President George W. Bush on September 14th, 2001 at ground zero…
“I can hear you. The rest of the world hears you. And the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon.”
People want to know that their President is listening. Can Barack Obama hear anyone?
Peter Johnson, Jr., from Fox News commented prior to the President’s speech Wednesday night before congress that he only wanted to hear four words from President Obama: “I hear you, America.” No such luck.
Rather than acknowledging “I can hear you,” Obama ignored the thousands of Americans who showed up at Town Halls to protest the ObamaCare Nightmare. If you were one of those people, why can’t Obama hear you? “The rest of the world hears you!” Not the President though. He simply repeated the same old health care lies and refused to budge an inch away from including some form of a “public option” (government-run health care) despite having admitted that it will “disrupt the health care people currently have.”
Among Obama’s other scandals, he wanted to turn the 9/11 remembrance into a green energy holiday (See Scandal # 601 on the Official Obama Administration Scandals List). This is a day to remember our fallen soldiers, citizens, firefighters and their families. It is a day to honor and thank all who have died since fighting the War on Terror (NOT an “overseas contingency operation”). Change it to a love the earth holiday?! We won’t stand for that radical change.
We also won’t stand for the radical change he wants to make to the health care that the huge majority of Americans love. Obama wants to knock down the buildings of the greatest health care system on earth.
Mr. President, if you and your party become the people who knock these buildings of strong health care down, you “will hear all of us soon.” Election day, 2010.
